For a while I forgot about this bookstore (& went to the usual big box) but popped in over the holidays. Very pleased that I did - they carry a great mixture of current popular books as well as amazing other books you wouldn't find in a big box. Plus they offered me great selections when I needed guidance on buying for a family member.

I've only ordered via their online shop, but I have to say the service is incredible! Kind staff, incredible selection and they order hard-to-find books for me. The email correspondent Jaime has been especially pleasant! This shop is an absolute delight and I cannot recommend it enough.

Popped in to grab a book to help kill a few hours and left with 2. The fella behind the counter really knew his books and when he didn’t have a specific book I was looking for pointed me in the direction and did a fantastic job describing two outstanding books.

Such a perfectly curated bookshop. Staff are friendly, funny, super helpful and informative/knowledgeable, and always quick to find out and look up anything they don't know off the top of their heads! Great communication whenever you make a special order, too.

The Sequel location at the Playhouse Cinema provides an outstanding selection of books on film and more! The Locke Street location has the best selection of books of all kinds in the city.... staff is outstanding and extremely knowledgeable.

I LOVE Epic books! I rarely go in bookstores as I generally just use the library, but It's so unique that I always love to check it out! I found it when I was living in Hamilton 8 years ago, and I still visit it whenever I come back here!
