Their return policy is awful. I bought some Nike Ultra Celso flip flops, and wore them twice. The first time I wore them they were uncomfortable. I wore them a second time thinking they needed to be broken in, but they hurt my arch so badly and left an abrasion on the bottom of my toe from the ridges where the feet lay that I had to change into my original Nike Celso flip flops. I then tried to return WITH a receipt only to find out that they do not take returns or exchanges if the product has been worn AT ALL. I have never had this problem before at other shoe retailers, and I have many NICE shoes. I even spoke with their corporate office who, after much complaining, pitifully offered that I send them back the shoes to their corporate office (not to the store I was currently standing in) at my own shipping expense with no receipt or proof that they had made any agreement with me over the phone. Really?! Not worth my time. Keep my money, but I will not return. I will continue to shop at other high end retailers where they know how to take care of their customers. Just take a look at the 56 reviews on the consumer affairs website I posted here. Disgraceful!

Be careful when returning/exchanging. I purchased 3 pairs of shoes..2 of those were apart of bogo and 1 wasn’t. I went to return the 1 pair that had nothing to do with the bogo and I paid full price for. The manager Jennifer said she would only be able to give me 64 on a giftcard instead of the 89 I originally paid.. so now when I go to another location to get my correct size I will be paying the difference out of pocket instead of just getting an even exchange for the correct size I need. Absolutely ridiculous and will never be returning to this store again. Thankfully I called corporate and they were able to get it sorted out for me. But please be aware of this location and this manager when trying to return or exchange.

I and my husband went here a couple of days ago to buy my son's shoes. Then, we recognized there was a discount event so we were thinking of buying my husband's as well. But we did not figure out what kind of discount it was exactly. So, my husband asked about special discount to the manager. But his response was insincere and he was getting angry. And he was almost yelling at my husband. All we want him to do is let us understand about the discount because we really wanted to buy my son's shoes and my husband's. Finally, we had to buy my son's shoes at Target. He drove out customers to buy shoes. How could this happen? This shop should change the name from famous footwear to "notorious footwear."

Jennifer and Angela were real champs of managing on Sunday of Tax-free weekend, when the store was understandably chaos. Employees all juggled insane requests from customers on the phone about online orders while continuing to process normal purchases face to face with friendly dispositions. Cody was patient and helpful at the register while also efficient in the face of constant questions. Considering the timing, inventory was still kept stocked better than a different store (a sport and outdoor chain, not Famous) we had tried previously. Well done!

I love famous footwear in the people that work there, however, every time I enter into the store, it is extremely hot, knowing the Texas summer is coming. I am really upset because I know going in there I will be sweating like crazy. My only complaint is that they need to fix her air conditioning or allow the poor employees in there everyday to be able to control it. I don’t want to be in a hot sweaty shop in the middle of the Texas heat for 20 minutes trying to find shoes I’d rather go somewhere else.

My husband and I went in this morning with our granddaughter. When we walked in we we greeted by the gentleman worker he asked us if we need any help finding something husband replied yes here to buy granddaughter some shoes. He pointed where kids shoes were. We told him thank you. But once the lady seen us walking other way she was persistent saying few times "sir the shoes are over here" like we were not suppose to look around so we left. Don't even get past the backpacks that were in front.

Back to school shopping. The associate that checked us out, I didn’t get his name but his associate number in receipt says 320675. He was very sweet, made sure we understood the promos and made sure we were able to use our coupons we received in mail. He was very kind hearted. Thank you for making our day.

Today (new years day) they had a crazy good sale. Went there with the family. Prices were up to 80% off.. ladies boots down to $30 from$100. Plenty of selection on most. Grievance is not one member of staff approached us during the entire time- we were there more than half an hour and it wasn’t busy.

Famous Footwear no longer issues packing slips for online orders as a sustainability measure. This location refused a return, only store credit, because I didn't have a physical receipt. I did an online order in the first place because the type of shoe I need is rarely available in the store anymore.

Store hours said it opens at 10, but when we arrived at 10:30 the store was locked. We called to see if they would answer and there was no voicemail, it automatically hung up on us. It's hard to think we'll of a store that can't be bothered to open on time or have any kind of after hours services.

Hands down one of the best customer service experiences I've had in a long time Brandon was very knowledgeable and professional over the phone and in person will definitely be returning to Famous Footwear for all my future shoe purchases in the future!!!

Good customer service; however, you should have more than one employee at a time to ensure safety/security as well as help if the store is busy. I dont wish to support a store that doesnt support the well being of their employees and customers.

Great customer service. We called ahead To make sure they had what we needed and the man on the phone was more than happy to help. Store was clean and organized. Staff was friendly with kiddos and willing to help us find what we needed.

Great service. However I wasn't able to find any water proof women's boots for a trip to Buffalo, New York. I was disappointed yet understood since the Granbury, Texas doesn't really have that kind of weather.
