I’ve struck gold !!! There is another Fat Les’s location in Osgoode that I pass twice daily. I longingly stare as I’m either bringing my petite passengers to their school or homes. Some of these epicureans or connoisseurs speak very fondly of this location and know I understand why. There are different types of locations with different menus. This particular one is open all year and has a few additional tasty morsels for us to nibble upon. Pizza, ice cream, milk shakes to name a few. As you know the staff at any Fat Les’s are exceptional people with advanced cooking or customer service training and talents. The people here however take it to an entirely higher level. The First Lady I spoke to had nearly psychic powers when she pampered me with anything a hungry bus driver could dream of. Later a truly wonderful, generous and talented gentleman explained many things to me about their company and told me the best locations based on where I live and work. He also kindly gave me some discount coupons for bus driver appreciation week and I was able to share them within mere minutes with another bus driver from a different company who agreed to pass some out to her friends. She was overjoyed with the kind gift and assured me she was also a fan of fat Les. So I must give a thanks to the great people at this location!!!!

Ordered here from the Osgood site several times whenever I'm in the Ottawa area now this is like the chip stand you have to keep in mind, and it offers a lot more than just burgers and hotdogs including sandwiches wraps pizza and other things I tried the food here several different times and that generally it's pretty good it does help that it's like really close to where I work and there's not too much other places around LOL but with that being said I've tried various combinations of their burgers and fries, they're poutines, their fish & chips, their pizzas, as well as their Montreal smoked meat sandwich and fries Generally speaking it's pretty good for a chip stand kind of food if we're not talking fancy restaurants and stuff I would give them about a 7 out of 10 I've not been disappointed in the taste or product that I've received from them my only real complaint would be that their overpriced The people there are great and funny and interact with you and are very courteous and polite the food overall is pretty good the portion sizes in some cases a little on the small side especially for what they charge but again I want to say it's a chip stand and the food is probably a few notches above what I would generally expect from a chip stand

Would not eat here unless you want food poisoning. Me and my mother stopped in after going to the doctors for a quick lunch. The service was horrible the guy taking the order was clearly annoyed at us ordering food and made it very clear while he slammed are drinks on the ledge and the debit machine. Once we finally got are food we had to find a table that wasn't full of garbage from other customers. ( There was no one there when we showed up and only one other costumer showed up while we where there ) if that wasn't enough the double cheeseburger combo my mother ordered the cheeseburger meat had gone sour you could even smell it. It was the same concept with the meat in my poutine. We both got food poisoning from the meat being sour, we know that we got food poisoning from this place because it was the only place we had food all day. Waste of money since we trew everything out. Would not recommend eatting here unless you want food poisoning

If you want to be treated like a problem because you have dietary restrictions, this is the place for you! We have eaten here twice without issues and our 3rd time was not a charm. Staff were incredibly degrading when asking clerifying questions about their gluten free menu options. I wish I didn’t have to ask these questions, but as a celiac, it is imperative I do and it is so disheartening when cook staff in the back make arrogant comments about my requests and front of house staff make it a priority to answer phone orders rather then serving front window customers. Albeit the food was good on our last 2 orders, I will never go back solely because of the degrading way the staff conduct themselves. Contrary to the owner’s response below, I did request a substitution and was given a blatant “no substitutions”. Don’t dare request a substitution on your order, they will become overwhelmed and use it as an excuse to treat customers poorly.

My taste buds where insulted. So this is a review directed to those that ran this franchises food truck at victoria park london ont may 18. They had their award winning double bacon cheese burger poutine with all the trophies sitting out on display and what they served me was saugy cold fries that had then been coated with watered down gravy over beef unmelted cheese and over cooked bacon bits that had no flavour due to being bone dry. I really doubt that poutine could have won any awards or if they just could not bother since they where at that location temporarily and where not woried about returning customers. Anyway its now been a little over a 45 minuts. I am enduring my upset stomack in silence after trying to finish the food... sorry mother I could not finish my plate this time.

French fries are definitely not awesome. Soggy fries at every location even if asked to cook them extra crispy. Fries are blanched in the morning and left to sogify throughout the day . Oil is never fresh at this location and often one tastes bad oil in their food. Hours are crazy and the owner called me a liar once I confronted him about being open till 9pm. Apparently all locations shut at 8 pm yet I was ordering well past 8 on several occasions here for ice cream. Even the hours with Google are listed till 9 pm. Something weird is up with this place I'd say . Ice cream is great but not everyone knows how's to operate the soft serve MA Hine resulting in varied results. Hit or miss on abailibility to. I definitely have to say there are better fry truck options out there.

some of the food is ok. The bacon, pulled pork, and bacon double cheeseburger poutines are good but the fries alone are just terrible. Had a bacon cheeseburger a few times, got worse over the course of 3 years. Patty dried out, bacon super under cooked. Only giving 2 stars because its the only decent food place in osgoode. I just called them they put me on hold for 7 minutes and they hung up. And the pizza crust is way too thick. They just keep upping the prices and making the portions smaller. Sorry fat les

Was great for the longest time, ate there several times a week. Smoked meat poutine is delicious, but lately I've been running out of gravy after the first few bites. Told the girl on the phone to make sure theres enough on this time, and it's the same thing. 2 others got poutines today and it is the same deal. Not just the first time either. Guess we will find a new chip stand! Tired of paying over $14 with a drink for a poutine with maybe 2oz of gravy on it. Not to mention the smaller containers this year.

Got a burger poutine. The fries were overcooked and inedible. I dont even understand why they would serve those fries because they were visible black, hard and overcooked. Had to throw it away and of course I was already home 20 mins away so going back wasnt an option.

Service was OK but the food was really really bad got a Chilli and cheese dog which I don’t. Understand how you can mess it up the chilli was awful plus they put the chilli and cheese on the bottom of the bun and a hotdog on top which chilli and cheese went right through the bun even soaked right through the rapper got all over and made a mess and couldn’t eat it.

We have just been very disappointed with the service, the last two times we've ordered take out our orders have been wrong. This time they offered to deliver what they missed which was nice of them but it took almost 40 minutes (we live about 10 mins outside of town) and the delivery driver only said "here's your missing food".

Ordered 2 different pizzas tonight. Both were delicious. It's been a very long time since I have been able to say that. I like tomatoes and green peppers on mine. They didn't go cheap with them. I will be ordering again. Also have had their fries from Kemptville and Chesterville, very good too!

Simply put the food is extremely overpriced for both the quality and quantity you get. Some of the staff are quite nice but others just seem like they really don't want to be there and maybe even don't want you there either.

It was extremely busy the other night and gave us a 10 dollar gift card for having burnt the pizza and replaced ( which happens it was busy things happen ) we used it today for a Caesar salad and probably one of the best I ever had ! Great job

Nice food stand. Had whistle dogs and fries. Dogs were excellent, fries were average. If I'm ever in Osgoode again I will probably be back.

The poutine is to die for!! Very generous with the cheese curds, gravy and sizes! My only complaint is that the hot dogs are very overpriced for what you get, they're like kid size hot dogs. need to upgrade them.

Hands down the worst burger in the area.. All dressed equals ketchup, mustard and relish. If you let kids run your business you'll soon be out of business. Sadly its the only chip stand in town. More

Stopped in at Fat Les's chip stand after hockey game in arena across the street and it was great. Service was quick and the poutine was great.

Was a lovely stop on the ATV trail system. Food was prompt and as safely dished out as can be expected for pandemic conditions would allow.

Love the pizzas, we do order poutine occasionally and are happy with the many tasty choices. They also have an economic lunch special.

Had the buffalo chicken poutine and there are not enough stars to tell you how good it was.

Got a few specialty poutine. The toppings were great but very little cheese curds or gravy.
