When it finally came time to do some major renovations to our house, we couldn’t possibly have been happier with our decision to go with Alexey at Bright-Home FixItNowYYC! Alexey started with just some rough ideas of what we wanted to accomplish with our reno. Then with his great eye for what will look good and expert advice on what products to use he helped us make excellent choices. Thanks to all the hard work by Alexey and his team we now have new expertly laid beautiful and durable luxury vinyl plank flooring though-out. He removed some walls to give us a much more open layout. He built a wall and added a door to give us a new enclosed home office. Our old badly worn-down wooden kitchen cabinets and stair railings were all sprayed with high-quality durable lacquer paint that brighten and modernize our house and look every bit as good as new. Our old worn-out laminate countertops were replaced with beautiful stone quartz. The project ended up involving everything you can think of including plumbing, new tile work, electrical etc.… but in a matter of a few weeks the transformation was complete! Alexey and his team were all very friendly, courteous, hard-working and eager to meet or exceed your expectations. As our renovation plans progressed his pricing for each part of the project was always very reasonable and fair. I would highly recommend Alexey to anyone looking to do a home renovation.

I contracted Alexey for my kitchen renovation, and while it was considered a cosmetic facelift for a small condo, he treated the process and the work with as much consideration, professionalism and eye for detail as any larger project would garner. He ensured I was informed what additional materials I needed to preorder and always communicated in a timely manner. I'm so happy with how my new kitchen turned out, as Alexey installed new countertops, tile backsplash, kitchen sink and electrical receptacles for me. He was meticulous in ensuring my hexagon tiles were cut and installed in a random pattern as instructed, and took great care in making sure all the cleanup and removal/disposal of garbage was hauled away every day. It is very rare to find a contractor who takes personal pride in their work as much as he does, and his friendly, punctual, hard working demeanor is just a pleasure to work with. We had a complicated case of two half-baths co-joined by a tight space with a bathtub in it. The setting was awkward and did not work for our family. For a few years we were planning to turn our half-baths with a tub in a middle into two full size bathrooms, however, we were not able to find a contractor who would offer a sensible solution. We are very glad we contacted Alexey. He offered a solution that made good practical sense and aimed to achieve exactly what we needed. The project was completed within the originally discussed schedule and budget. Alexey handled all required permits, sub-trades, and materials. We are now enjoying our new bathrooms, and would like to thank Alexey for his commitment, excellent work ethics and, of course, for skillful and knowledgeable work on our project.

Alexey worked at our house to replace and improve our back deck. We were on a bit of a tight time-frame to get it done. He was very reliable and hard working. The deck was completed on time (early even) and most importantly the quality of the work was excellent. Alexey communicated well and made suggestions about the build when appropriate.
