Indo-Canadian visiting from Toronto. Not impressed. Snobby waiters which is odd because it’s not a classy joint. Head bartender (not the guy in my pic but seemed to be Eastern European) seems to forget he’s a bartender. Lots of attitude for no reason. My dude - you’re a glorified waiter - please learn your place. They were fake nice after I tipped though lol. Note: The Irish staff were all really nice - seems to be a common thread throughout Ireland: the immigrant staff offer terrible service if you aren’t European; the Irish themselves are lovely. The owner should take note of this if he wants to see better clientele - you will lose out on business if you don’t firmly educate your more recently hired staff. Happy to spend my $$$ someplace that’s actually classy and deserves it. Food is unusually bad even for pub fare. Couldn’t finish my fish and chips. Good cocktails though. The redheaded girl (cocktail) was my favourite. Go here if you like bad service and bad food while pretending it’s someplace upscale.

We picked this bar based on the reviews and the food options, we knew there would also be a futbol game on that day, and the decor looked super unique and eclectic. We arrived for lunch a little after opening on a Saturday. The place filled up quickly and was full before we left. This was also our first time having a meal with the Sweet Chili sauce, which we've both had on other foods before but something about the fried food in Ireland made the sauce that much tastier! We order boneless wings and pepperoni pizza. The Red Headed cocktail was amazing - earthy and a tad sweet. The restaurant overall has a snazzy feel, the bathrooms were by far the nicest I had seen this far and the staff was friendly. For more recommendations and tips from our Ireland trip... Martin and his team were fantastic, they couldn't do enough for us. We had a party in the Oriel room for all our Irish friends and family that couldn't make it overseas for our wedding, due to covid. Martin sorted out the projector for us so we could display a sideshow of our wedding pictures and it went down really well. He also sorted the music so we could play our own playlist. The staff were extremely accommodating and attentive, the room is gorgeous and the toilet and smoking area were so close, the food they served around 9:30 was plentiful, hot and delicious. We couldn't have asked for more. We would definitely recommend booking the Oriel room for your party, you won't be disappointed.
Had a work night out in upstairs area. Cosy and private space. Good Guinness and drink selection in this function room. Food was excellent, we had platter type dining,. lots of variety, lots of vegan and veggie options. Service was great, lots of staff on hand, prompt and friendly service. Location is great, just off stephens green, not far from pearse station, also lots of buses nearby.

The atmosphere of this place is interesting, the food was good and cocktails great. Would recommend the prawns as a starter and the Alfonso #2 drink if you like something sweet (with a hint of spice). My wife got the super salad and she enjoyed (portion size is large); I had the lamb stew which was very much a comfort food dish as thought of in the US but if I were to go here again, would try something else (not that it was bad). The service was fantastic, waitress checked in just enough without being disruptive.
Such poor quality food for what you’re paying. A plethora of different places on the street that are significantly better. Cocktails took a while, which I’d never have minded, only there was 4 people behind the bar and over half the place was empty. Had planned on waiting for music in the place but was so put off with what we’d paid for such poor quality food and service we left.

Food was nice but marking down because they do not have a very modern drink selection! No drink menu either and waitress couldn't tell me what they had so I had to name out a load of drinks to finally find something that was available. Also the waitress said they weren't doing cocktails... then throughout the evening I saw cocktails being brought to a table beside me. Not sure why they made an exception for that table but it did not make a good impression on me.
We went here for my brother's after wedding party with a group of 16. Nice spot in busy location. Was very impressed with the area we had to ourselves plus our own bar was a nice touch. Food baskets were offered and cleaning up service was quick and efficient. The bar was very good at letting my brother use his Nintendo switch on the TV which allowed us to play games. Made it a very memorable evening. Had to vacate at 11 which is unfortunate and understandable.
I went out to smoke, in an attempt to return to the place, the security guard specifically said that I wouldn't go in, I tried to explain that I was already in the place, I only went out to smoke (my friends were there) the security guard simply shouted and told me to get out of the door. total disrespect and lack of control! good place but the security is definitely bad

We had the Philly steaks, they were not very nice… too peppery! It burnt my partner’s lips. They were not shredded steak but pulled beef, which made it sloppy. We had to leave most of it. My partner complained to manager, who gave us a refund for two half eaten meals. Can’t say no more as he did refund us the cost of the meals. We would not eat here again though.

After a chill Saturday afternoon wandering around town and having a few beverages, myself and the other half were lured into this pub by the unreal belting of tunes (by a guy called Dan Elliott... he deserves a separate 5 stars!!!!). It was early evening but the place was absolutely buzzing - great music, great atmosphere, good craic staff... loved the change to DJ playing cheesy classics after the live music stopped. Will definitely be back!
Music was obnoxiously loud. Had to shout at my friends to try and say anything. Don't normally mind loud pubs but we asked 3 times to turn the music down and the only response we got was a shoulder shrug and "It's Friday evening". Not good enough. We were trying to enjoy a night out with our friends who reserved an area for a surprise party, the least you could do is let us talk to each other inside. Would not recommend
My wife and I visited here after it was recommended by the barman in Reillys. We were lucky to get a table as it was just getting busy we both had fish and chips. We were served by a girl named Samantha. She was so attentive. She came to us a few times and asked was every thing OK. She also had a great sense of humour which we don't find from staff nowadays in the United States. I would definitely recommend this place.
Just arrived from US and a local recommended Foly's. We were not disappointed. Mostly locals and casual. Great atmosphere, music, service, and fish and chips. Chicken fries were nice but too much food. Everyone had a great time, especially my older grandson, who had his 1st alcohol. Guinness, of course

Excellent city bar, great service somehow the bar staff keep the pints and drinks flowing even when the place is jammed. The food service is yummy. Nice location just off st Stephen's Green on Baggott street. Upside a bit quieter if a busy day in Dublin. A few big screens not too many, if a game on..

We have been here for lunch twice recently and have been very satisfied both times. The food is really good and there is a variety of choices on the menu and daily specials in addition to that. Also the vegetarian alternatives are good. The staff is very friendly and give good service. The prices are ok to be in the middle of Dublin. There is a nice atmosphere in the bar.
We arrived at The Brazen Head on a game day, so the place was packed. We were lucky to get two seats at the bar. After first getting our beverages from the amazingly busy and capable bar tender (female), we ordered beef and Guiness stew and Irish stew. For pub food, both dishes were excellent! The pub itself is interesting with various rooms within it. Well worth a visit.
Around 20:30 we attempted to go to O'Donoghues, which was packed solid. Opting out, we tried our luck across the street at Foley’s, and ended up having our best night in Dublin. The musician was incredible, fantastic and friendly service, and an overall wonderful atmosphere. Bartenders and patrons alike were singing together all night. Thank you for a memorable evening!
It was a nicely decorated pub, the music was quiet and the atmosphere was magnificent. Everything is full of colors, there is a diverse selection of beers and the food is very tasty. I will definitely come again

Overpriced drinks, my cocktail was sickly sweet and minimal alcohol in it. Staff don't seem to know their drinks prices. No drinks menu available, I found this a bit stupid as we had to just order whatever they named as an option. The only positive was it was cosy to sit and watch the football, and staff were friendly. Overall, I wouldn't bother going here again
Was on a work night out 2 weeks ago. Was one of the coldest nights of the year so far and the doorstaff opened all doors into lounge at around 9 -9:30pm and froze everyone saying it was for safety reasons. Had all chiped in for food and to say what we had all paid towards was not replicated on what we got. Overall disappointed and wouldn't rush back
Drop in here for an early evening pint and the place was rocking. The live music was on from 7pm till 9pm then a DJ took over. You will get all your favourite drinks here and although we did'nt have food ourselves everything that passed us looked delicious. Go on get in there and try it yourself.

Wonderful dinner! I had the traditional Irish Lamb Stew, which came with coarse bread and butter, as well as the roasted vegetables. The food was delicious. The single waitress was kept busy by a full house of customers, but she returned as necessary to ensure I was well taken care of. The food arrived quickly and was nicely hot. Highly recommended.
We had a lovely meal. The girls both got the pepperoni pizza and I got the Foley Burger. It was quiet when we were there on a Monday afternoon around 5:00 pm. The staff was friendly and all was clean.

Foley's is a very nice pub downtown Dublin. The atmosphere inside is very colorful and cosy. They have live music 4 days a week, which is quite nice to have a little entertainment while talking to friends/boyfriend/girlfriend. Food is standard pub food but quite good overall. Prices are standard for the area. Staff is friendly and professional.
Fantastic place for an event. I had my sisters Hen Party here the weekend and the staff were brilliant. Especially Martin (think that was his name). He joined in whenever he came into room and made everyone laugh. Wonderful staff member. Food was lovely and had an overall great atmosphere. Would definitely recommend to anyone going into town.
Booked the loft room for a surprise 30th party. From start to finish the staff were so lovely and accomadating! Gráinne was a great help with booking the room and organising the food (had a few people with allergies going) nothing was too much hassle and any questions I had she was great at getting back to me. Definitely will be back again!
Was only planning to have a one drink, although when we got there, live music was setting up. We ended up staying most of the night listening to the live music. The atmosphere was excellent and made our first trip to Dublin even better. Was a brilliant experience

Came here, well, because it's got my last name! Had a great experience here. Service was great, was checked in on, got a beer recommendation, and a new one when needed. Food came out timely and very tasty! The holiday decor inside was so nice and festive. Really great vibe. Will go back next time I'm visiting in Dublin!
Loved this place so much! My husband and I were in Dublin just for a couple days and had a delightful lunch at Foley’s. Our server was kind and helpful as we looked to find allergy friendly options to accommodate a dairy allergy and the food was on point. We’d definitely come back if were ever in Dublin again!
One of my favorite spots in Dublin ! In love with the cocktails of this month (Cucumber&Mango Daiquiri ) the best combination for the summer! Back few times because of the cocktails The atmosphere and service are nice as well ! Highly recommend

Amazing pub! Super friendly stuff and amazing live music! Dan Elliott often plays here. Food is good as well, especially the burgers. Always worth a visit especially on Friday evenings. Would recommend to reserve beforehand if you want to have a table close to the live music!

Had the oriel room for a birthday function and was very pleased with how it was planned with Gráinne. Staff on the night were very helpful, the room was just the right size for an 80 to 100 person party and the food was very well presented. Would recommend it!
I came with a friend for an afterwork pint and the waiter I think his name was Emerson did a great job, the way he does the guinness is perfect, one of the most perfect head I have seen so far I will for sure come back for another one ! …
At a 80th birthday party there . It was on the 3rd floor . The rest of the pub was very lively. Look like everyone were enjoying themselves. Party on the 2th floor. Entertainment on the 1st floor.

Not their fault due to covid restrictions they’ve had to rearrange the place, but the only area that’s now opened is more like a daytime cafe. Tiny little round tables and seats all squashed into tight corners. Plus the heat is unbearable,

Best pub in the street that night. We did a pub crawl around the block, and just for younger people like us it was the best one. Really because of Dan Elliott, AMAZING musician they had on the stage. The ambiance, etc was also great.

Stopped in for lunch using the random ‘there’s a pub, let’s go in’ method. Good prices, and fantastic service. Our waiter is a legend, giving great beer advice and even managed to make a coffee good enough to satisfy an Australian.
Loved the atmosphere! It has all of the charm and warmth of other pubs but with a cheery brightness in addition. I ordered the cottage pie and was shocked at how large a portion I was served! But of course I ate it. It was great!
Great food, great service, great Guinness! Had the Lamb Stew and would highly recommend it! Also had the Stocky Toffee Pudding was a great way to end the night. Our serve was great! On point and took extremely good care of us!
Whether it a great night or a chill out sort of place Foleys is the bar for you. It has regular live music, both traditional Irish and modern. The staff are both very friendly and efficient. It has a good selection of beers
One of the best burgers I've tried in Dublin, so far! The music and the environment, together with the friendly staff makes of this place a really nice spot to stop and chill, either for a drink or to grab a bite!
Nice and cosy spot in a very upmarket area. Good for a quiet drink before heading somewhere else. Plenty of seating and wide open space. Excellent live music I have experienced more than once in here. Recommended.
We ate here on a busy day. We had a gorgeous day to enjoy eating outside. Both my wife and I had the seafood chowder and I had a Murphys Stout which were both good. Service was reasonably quick and friendly.
Being a Foley visiting Dublin, a taxi driver told me I had to go to Foleys pub. According to him it was a more authentic Irish pub than Temple bar which is famous and always fun but more of a tourist trap.
Foley's Special pizza was the best I've had for years. The calamari lite bite was also great. Service was exceptional.

Great place for beers, cocktails, and a surprisingly good pineapple and bacon pizza. I may be a little biased as I have the same last name, but no relation. Good atmosphere and nice bartenders. More

Myself and my fiancé had our engagement party here last week. The food was great, the pints were fantastic, and the staff are stellar. Cannot recommend the place enough!
Lovely atmosphere in the day time. Nice and quiet. They have a decent wine list for a city centre pub but I personally would have liked to see more French wines feature.
Nice spot on baggot street. Does plenty of music with a dance floor vibe. Feel it's a good for a young crowd. Great to have a pint here and head on to a few local pubs
Good place for lunch. Decent drinks menu. Only reservation is that most of tables in the ground floor are high with high chairs so not easily accessible to all.

Nice friendly staff, nice pints, generally same price as other pubs in the area. Only complaint - toilets are too small. Would recommend!
Was here last night attending a friends event. Alexandra was the bar lady. She was amazing!! Very attentive, we had an excellent night.
So quirky, I didn't expect that, great music, great ambiance, loved the colourful chairs and walls, so funky ! Will be back for sure!
Great local vibe/find. Service was great too! Our group had superfood salad, chicken sandwich, vegan burger, chowder, and beers.
Great pours and wait staff. Good people and lots of good signing. Made new friends from all over the world while drinking here.
Nice atmosphere, great service, good food. The Atlantic Chowder was outstanding, more seafood than soup (in a good way, to me).
It's got a great new look to it. I was in for a few drinks with colleagues and we couldn't get over how much nicer it looked.
