HMMM LET'S SEE. I HAVE BEEN SHOPPING THERE FOR ABOUT 35 YEARS NO KIDDING. OWNERS CAME AND WENT BUT THE STORE HASN'T CHANGED MUCH. OH SURE SEVERAL REMODELS BUT THE FLAVOR OF THE SITE HAS REMAINS. COMMITTED EMPLOYEES FROM THE BUTCHERS TO THE BAKERS ,PRODUCE TO THE CASHIERS AND EVEN NOW A BUNCH OF CUTIES OVER THE YEARS. ALL DEPARTMENTS KNOW THEIR CUSTOMERS NEEDS. IT IS A HISPANIC MARKET BUT THIS GRINGO ALWAYS COULD FIND WHAT I WAS LOOKING FOR SOME ITEMS TOOK SOME SWITCHING BUT THAT'S WHERE THE FUN STARTS. THE KIDS NEVER COMPLAINED I STILL FEEL COMFORTABLE SHOPPING THERE. WHICH IS RARE IN THIS TYPE OF BUSINESS KUDOS TO ALL THE EMPLOYEES. THANKS FROM A LONG TIME CUSTOMER THE "gringo"

Just so happens that I had to stop in this place to use the restroom. they were very helpful in facilitating the use of the facilities, however that place was filthy. Not dirty in the traditional sense of grime and grit all over the floor so much as it was kind of hard pressed linoleum. It's just really old and kind of dated but at least the bathroom is clean. I don't think I would shop there.

A lady fell and they had made a report just incase she was hurt out of it but they didn't write down that there was some light waterthat she tripped on, at the isle of the accident, she wasnt helped at all to get up either. Also i had bough some cheese that had mold as i tried to use it at home. Its a local market so convenient to stop by and shop at but i think they lack customer service.

Employees don't greet you always seem like the are in a bad mood the lady in deli is nice sometimes but really doesn't know how to make smoothies they either come out really sour or runny it never has a smoothie consistency not a pleased customer.....there used to be a lady that worked there that was always friendly and made the best smoothies and always had great since of humor.

I used to go there regularly a few years ago. I went there today, Sunday around 11, and the place was empty. The prices were higher than I remember, the store looked neat and clean. I rember 4 years ago, the place was bustling at this time of day. Our flour tortillas were all stuck together and ripped when we pulled them apart. The people were nice though. Maybe new ownership.

This place is no longer Foodland. I repeat is no longer Foodland. The new grocery market is called Manolo. The place very different than before where the windows are clear. You can see the inside of the store. The prices for the produce are incredible. This place is now the go to place to get groceries. I will come here often.

We were staying in San Diego area and I Google a grocery store near me and this came out as a closest location and my frist impression wen I walked in was super clean and organized store. Friendly staff and fresh products and hot food.i wish to have a store like this in my home town. Thank you. Kudos to management

Charging for using a cart.. may not be a lot but definitely made me think twice of buying bulk in food ever since new owners took over, it had been less about quality and more about how to profit... I’ll just shop elsewhere for groceries food quality definitely overall not the same

I would put 0 stars if possible. I bought around $50 worth of meat for a Carne asada and Pollo asado. Everything was rancid/spoiled. It was not good to eat. Echado a perder. Chicken beef ribs and Carne asada. The embarrassment I went through with this. Ridiculous!!

Compared to Walmart it's much more in pricing yet not ever packed , so if you wanna pay 8dollars for ice cream and leave right away then foodland it is, if you grab ice cream at Walmart it'll melt before your out the door yet its 4.79 at Walmart ..

Long line waiting to pay. One cashier for all the customers. The exchange cashier are unatending all the time and they give you a card for the transactions, but we need to filling a paper form for money transactions and made us waste time.

Has a variety of offerings and a more than decent food court. However, when in search for food products, it is necessary to check the expiration date as many of their products are already expired.

It's one of the biggest foodlands and a lot of customers come and go.. they have everything you would need but customer service sucks! They need to SMILE more often and think of guest service!

Close to my house and has the basic stuff I need. Other than that if u want fresh and first made tortillas and bollilo u need to be their really early

This is our go to store when we have forgotten something. It is on the way home always has what we need. Most important we know they will have it

REALLY GOOD!!! It has a variety of fruits and vegetables, there is meat cut daily, and it has a lot if other canned goods. Also has a bakery too!

They have really good prices on produce and meat. The other stuff is a little over priced. You can't go wrong with the pastries.

My fruit was the double the price as other stores and not as fresh. Great customer service though.

I Got price ring up wrong 3 time already. Love to ship here but please stop rip me off….
