"A real rip off of a school"
I am slowly starting to really like Fordham. I am enrolled in their graduate social work program, one of the best in the country. At first, I did not like the atmosphere here. However, I have since found a community of people who are friendly and supportive. My professors are also supportive and push me to think outside of the box. This program is challenging (we read many articles and must write several papers over the semester - some classes also require quizzes and exams, but the focus is on writing), but I have learned a lot. I just wish that the Lowenstein building could get a bit of an upgrade! The law school is new, and there is a new undergrad dorm on campus...Fordham now needs to turn their attention to Lowenstein.
Undoubtedly, this campus stands out as the finest in all of New York City! I take immense pride in attending school here, primarily because of the exceptional maintenance and care provided by the staff. The presence of a remarkable security team ensures my utmost safety, and I'm consistently greeted with warm smiles and delightful welcomes from the front desk security guards. The commitment to school safety was vividly demonstrated when an individual attempted to steal my property but was promptly deterred by their swift action. I am forever grateful for their intervention! Thank you Fordham University, and staff!
Fordham as a school is great. I am a currently a student at the Fordham MBA program. As a facility though, I would say there is much left to be desired. The building is small comparatively and seems a bit outdated. Even the tech labs are not up to par in the equipment used and services offered. They recently renovated the cafeteira, which doesn't seem all that much better than before in my opinion. Wish they could have used the money more wisely. In any case, the education itself is what is important, and Fordham delivers. Still.....an upgrade here and there would be nice from time to time.
As a rule, we spend three months in the East every year. Our nephew studied at Fordham - then, his sister followed suit. They both raved about the level and the quality of education at Fordham. The Graduation was spectacular. And, Fr President McShane is a super star. He is so smart, gracious, well respected by Alum, students and, like us, people who meet him for the first time. West Coast Jesuit Universities need more of his caliber. There is one Fordham student they never mention...#45.
A real rip off of a school. You think you're matriculating just fine until it's time to graduate. Then they want to milk you for every dime you've got. Extra classes THAT YOU DO NOT NEED out the ass. But you better believe that they NEED you to pay for them. Students pay so much $$ for tuition to be crammed into dorms and deal with broken equipment. Enjoy your college years somewhere else.
The campus is very nice and quiet if you want to eat lunch or simply study. The people here are friendly and will assist you if you need help. There is a cafeteria in the campus that serves good food for a fair price. Overall, the campus offers a nice atmosphere to its students and residents of NYC. Tuition was very expensive at this school though.
This is my first semester at Fordham but I love it already. I went to a private college for undergrad and enjoy the small classes and I get the same experience at Fordham. I am in the graduate social work program. I drive in for NJ just wanted to know if anyone knows of inexpensive parking near Fordham?
This place pales in comparison to the Rose Hill campus. The people there are as you would expect theater kids in the city to be. They are pretentious, rude, and have a hard time getting along with others. Only go there if you need to stop there on the RamVan on the way to NYC.
Hands down the best campus this university has! Right in the heart of the city and close to so many restaurants and events. The outdoor plaza is beautiful and the cafeterias are very open. The new building they recently put in is also very spacious and gorgeous.
A great university in the heart of New York City, replete with a brand new residential building (McKeon Hall) and brand new Law School. Class sizes are small and many professors offer office hours to help with any issues in understanding.
love the campus! have never been to the one in the bronx but if this is any comparison i'm sure its amazing. professors and all staff are helpful, supportive and always there to answer questions
The campus look nice in the heart ♥ of New York city. The environment great, wide space and good for relaxing, studying and eating as well. The garden full of flowers and green grass. …
I cannot begin to describe how terrible this institution is. Completely horrific and run by tyrants who do not embody Jesuit ideals whatsoever. Disgusting and disappointing.
My young man enjoyed his 4 years at Fordham University Lincoln Center! Visit the campus, walk the neighborhood, and feel the magic of NY. I highly recommend this location.
Quality of education is great. The new law building will definitely benefit with extra space and classrooms. Networking and class subjects are useful and beneficial.
Lived and studied here for two years. Great education and fantastic surroundings. I made lots of friends on campus with memorable experiences. Love it!
Perfect location, near Lincoln Center, Central Park, and Hell's Kitchen. Friendly vibe, nice study environment, library is always full of students.
I currently go there! Great school for law, education and business. Actually, I recommend Fordham Bronx for everything! a.m.D.g.
It was a bad learning experience. You feel like you are losing creativity there. Glad I went somewhere else.
Very accessible, since it's only a few blocks from Columbus Circle, and many subway lines travel there.
Well maintained and clean inside and out. Restroom facilities we clean as well.
Amazing how much this place has transformed over the years.
Everything about the university is excellent and beautiful.
