Outstanding collection of history. This old Township building/library turned one-room-school-house is nestled in the village of Barriefield offering personalized tours, activities for young and old and programming for class groups. SO many details and outstanding displays showcasing education in Ontario over the past century and even earlier. Admission by donation, so it's accessible. It also offer many photo opp's on your visit!
Great little museum! It is cool seeing how we once educated our children. I recommend this if you are checking out the fort. It is 5 minutes away, in a cute little village, and it's free.
Amazing little museum and Liz was so so friendly. Definitely would recommend to anyone visiting Kingston!!
Enjoyed the area and the information from the visit. Would recommend. It's small but we'll displayed.
Curator and her assistant were very knowledgeable and it was a pleasure speaking with them.
