I have always appreciated Gaisano Malls, from Cebu, Manila and Davao. They have consistently clean halls and shopping is at reasonable prices. They always have sales, too. Most people go to newer malls thinking that what is new is better not knowing that the products in Gaisano are classic and of good quality and that is how they stand the test of time. Formal wear and school supplies are consistently dependable to be always there whenever the reliable old ones are gone. They do not have that much fancy boutiques which jack up the prices through their rents and by being merely middlemen. Gaisano Illustre have reduced its space a little bit but it stands to be the same as I remembered it from my elementary and high school days. Clean, affordable and consistently dependable. I will always shop first in Gaisano and will only go to these fancy new malls after I have made sure that what I need is not there.

The staff are quite impressive. they assist properly without making you feel like a shoplifter. They will wait and check if you need something. The items they sell are in good quality and offers in various prices depends on budget. The store is well maintained and sanitized to prevent the spread of virus. They follow COVID-19 protocol. You need to wear a mask and a face shield before you can enter the mall. It has a lot of restaurant inside, so when you feel. hungry before or after you shopped, you can always dine in to any of them. Each restaurants inside also follow COVID-19 GUIDELINES, for btett contact tracing , if ever. It's necessary to avoid crowded people during this pandemic time so please follow the government's guidelines in visiting malls or any establishments.

Not so strict cleaners in comfort room with regards to cleanliness that the cleaners should maintain as well as the users. Because this costumer woman with a 1 year old (maybe less than 1 year old) baby washes her baby's butt (after the baby poop) in the sink where some of the costumers using it for washing face, brushing teeth, etc. The cleaner was repremanding the woman (in a not so strict manner) to use the diaper room because sink is not intended for washing butt. The woman ignored the cleaner and continued washing her baby. I suggest to train the employees when to be strict, How to discipline ignorant costumers professionally.

Establishment is old and some of the items are outdated. But they still sell useful everyday items. Some prices are cheaper than other mall items, plus it is conveniently located to offices, and hospitals. However the customer service sucks. Sales ladies and cashiers are always moody and they make it known to you by their snide remarks. They offer gcash but they make excuses not to accept it as payment which is very inconvenient. Plus you have to leave your laptop at a separate baggage counter. Leaving 2 stars for the price, location, and the selection of snacks outside their grocery.

They have a variety of items to choose from at an affordable price. Place is a bit "cramped" or small compared to most malls in the city but it's okay since they sell almost all the basics. The sales staff are also very friendly and accommodating. I really enjoyed talking to one sales lady and asking her about a lot of stuffs that I need to buy since I'm new in the city. I forgot to ask her name though, she really deserves some commendation for her service. Will definitely be back here to buy more stuffs.

Always have that "complete in everything" thing in the mall without saying that they have everything you need. As a cyclist this is one of the only mall I know that sells bicycle parts. For grocers going down the base floor is accessible since there are 4 different areas to access it. But beware of the time shopping as in weekdays specially on Mondays , Fridays and Saturdays the grocery could be crowded of shoppers. One way to know the density in the mall is to check maps for real-time information.

Nice mall in the heart of Davao with all that you may desire,, nice restaurants at the roof deck with nice view over Davao, you can see samal island, just chill out take a bite at one of the roof Restaurants or in one of the more busy Restaurants inside, do your shopping whatever you may need them leave you luggage for free at the counter and room around, have the best cinemas in Davao so all in all a great mall...

I like this Mall in Buhangin because their displays is not topsy-turvy. In fact inside is in good order and very clean. Very good air conditioning and has a lot of stuff to offer. I hope Management of Gaisano Grand will be more kinder to all Senior Citizens by offering more free movie passes in each cinema every Tuesday from only ten free passes as of the moment. We will appreciate if you make a dialogue with us.

Grocery area needs pest control big time! O saw a big rat, food items packaging get damaged/holes by roaches. A few months ago they had to pull out a lot of junk food items because packaging have holes in it. This afternoon, I pulled 1 pack of Oishi choco flakes displayed beside other boxes cereals and viola! Little roaches crawled out of the shelves. I reported it already, I hope they will do something about it.

スーパーマーケット併設の小さなショッピングモールで市街地にあります。周りにはジョリビー、KFC、Mac等々飲食店、ヘアサロン、床屋、銀行、ホテル、路肩には屋台が密集しており、買い物や食事など非常に便利です。 少し古い感じのモールですが、現地の方々の普通の生活感が溢れています。食品から電化製品、衣料品、お酒、家具、食器、インテリア等々殆どのものが揃います。タコ焼き、ホットドッグ、肉まん、パン屋、フィリピンフードなどのイートイン店舗も何軒かあります。価格も他の大きなショッピングモールよりも格段に安いと感じました。高級感や近代的なモールではありませんが私は気に入りました。ダバオへの旅行に衣料品やアメニティーグッズ等々持って行く必要はないと感じました。こちらで調達した方が荷物にならないし、安いです。 是非一度は伺ってみては如何でしょうか？ こちらの外貨両替所のレートは他に比べ少々悪いと感じました。

Gaisano Ilustre is one of the best Mall of Davao City. Prices of commodities can compete with other Malls as cheaper. Most of the household needs are found in this mall. Cleanliness is guaranted. When it comes to Security and safety also guaranteed because Security Guards and Police personnel are always present in every places of the Mall. The area of the Mall is fully air conditioning.

I booked a ticket in one of their tenants, creepy a cockroach just crawling on top ofcthe tabke. The travel agent just said it's normal. But i don't think it's normal. Regardless how old or new the establishment is, they should keep the building in good sanitation. Sometimes these crawling insect might go to your bags and you guys bringing it in your home. Right?

Good mall in davao. Supermarket has some foreign food and also euro cafe with some ok bread. There is everything for your needs like, clothes, food, furniture, restaurants and big enough. The free parking is good, but traffic outside bad as everywhere in Davao in rush time. And rush time is now all day long. Davao is not built for trafic

It's one of the pioneering malls of Davao that has a trademark for cheaper stuff of different kinds. It's location is really as it's in the center. The supermarket has wide choices too, but not so much for the fruits though. The bakery is good, there are lots of fast foods, cheap ones. The female toilet is poorly maintained.

Supplies in the malls & department stores are not substantial due to the pandemic. Apparently, a lot of suppliers are still affected and could not deliver the required supplies to the buyers. Despite the present problems, this company continues to provide whatever is available to its customers. Thank you & God bless!

Another mall who has seen better days... if it was 1997 I would definitely recommend you to watch Titanic on Valentines Days because your crush will be there, probably with someone else. Todayu theres no theater anymore, but there is an SSS office on the top floor. In case somebody finds this useful.

Great deals compared to other malls. They have very affordable prices in terms of department store items especially those branded ones. We usually shop here even though we live near SM Lanang. Downside is that their escalators in the 3rd-4th floor aren't working oftentimes so be ready for marathon.

This Shopping Mall in Metro Davao is one-of-a-kind. It was patterned in a state-of-the-art mall abroad. The design was so nice and elegant. Every corner and level has unique and cozy features. Definitely a visit-to shopping place around Buhangin, Davao City - The Gaisano Grand CityGate Mall.

It's okay. The place is somehow complete from grocery stores to hardware stores. But trying to move through the place can be very confusing; especially with the crowded space full of smaller stalls and unfamiliar pathways; unless, of course, if it's your hundredth time visiting the place.

I come this place once a week for Zumba Dance Craze at the 5th floor ( sky gym). Actually the Zumba schedule here is every Tuesday and Thursday. You can pay also your SSS monthly contribution at the 5th floor. This Mall is quite old, but still many shoppers comes here to buy there needs.

New mall with a very dirty restroom, floors were wet with urine and water closet was dirty. Will never come to a place with unkempt toilets unless I really need to. Also ramp access from basement is hazardous for wheelchair due to uneven flooring and obstructed passage.

It has the stuff you are looking for, but it is pretty run down. The fact that there are street vendors with bootleg stuff does not legitimize the location and the products sold there. It's not an appealing place to hang around. Just go in, get your stuff and get out.

One of the older malls that has seen better days. But there are slme hidden knick knacks and things that may be of use. There are still selection of clothes, furnitures, kitchenwares etc. On the top floors, there is a Zumba class every afternoon I think.

Convenient for location and available parking. Carries a wide range of fresh produce and grocery items. Was happy to see now our brand of rice (Julie Ann 7-tonner) from our own Mindanao rice production in Banay Banay! But parking is almost always full!

Low key. The place is okay, not so excellent and not so bad. The air conditioning is cool in the third and second floor. However, this place is not good for groceries. Not so sanitized. Shopping for apparel? It is good here if you want to avoid crowd.

Used to be the best mall in the city, nowadays, it lacked maintenance, sure they have bargain RTWs but most are old stocks. It's good that they still have free underground parking space. Hopefully after this Covid outbreak, this mall will shine again.

Easy access, safe and always available underground parking. Its grocery have almost everything i need. Hardware on the house, a computer store, mobile phone shops, a department store and take away food stalls. This store is compact but complete!

Changing my rating. I have always loved their options for footwear and apparel and this place is a classic for Davaoeños, I am not sure why I rated this low. So many options and good food establishments nearby and ukay ukay!

I visited here coz there is a SSS branch inside.. & I really like it because it is near in my house. I noticed also that there are vacant space for the other upcoming store to open specially JS CINEMA & it is very exciting.

Went to the department store and to watsons for my needed Luxe Organix tinted sunscreen with SPF 50 and PA+++ (UVB protection). Its sunscreen but exchange a BB CREAM like coverage for the white cast other sunscreens have.

A very nice shopping mall with a lot of possibility to buy nice clothes. Often overpriced. Recently I bought 2 jackets for the price of 1300 pesos. You can also eat delicious food there. It is a very friendly place.

One of the oldest Gaisano malls in Davao. It also has a lot of cheaper items than the bigger malls. Safe for tourists and locals alike. Next door is a Jolibee and a number of smaller shops with copy bags etc..

Used to be a very good mall wayback. In the 90s but it was left in despair and now a poorly maintained mall...customer service is poor... The only consolation you will have is the value for money prices..

every time i'm in davao and i need something to buy in a grocery i always close this mall for grocery even in cloth i always choice this mall to buy because the price is cheaper than the other malls.

It has a parking lot within the mall plant. Consist of different stores like grocery sectons, food stalls, jewelry, dry goods departments, hardware section, cellular phone and accessories and more.

Very incomplete ang items.Then for baggage for laptops, di nalang isabay ang ibang items, you still need to deposit the other items to the baggage counter which is very hassle sa customers.

I usually come hear to do my groceries during weekends. They have what i need. And is closer to where i live. Food cost is also affordable. Less crowded than any known grocery stores

Prices are cheap and it's easy to find what you are looking for but the mall really needs maintenance. Cinema is closed and some of the escalators are not working.

The place is accessible in terms of fast food chains. After shopping in the stores it is easy to find jeeepney as a lot of them are in route in the area.

Cinema is freezing. The air-con is so cold you will need to wrap up very warm with hat, gloves and jacket. Absolutely disgraceful.

Just made a quick shopping from their supermarket on an early opening. The queue was long due to only 3 cashiers station are open.
