A great place to go if you don’t plan on getting food. We ordered just 2 burgers and it legitimately took about 1 and a half hours.. for 2 burgers.. They tasted great, but service was quite slow, aside from one guy which we never got his name, but he was great as he kept coming by asking if we needed anything else etc. The atmosphere itself was fun though! It wasn’t overly crowded so we actually got to enjoy playing the arcade games they had. I recommend their princess peach sangria, so good! I’m not sure if I’d go back again. They really should work on making their food a bit quicker, and their employees need to work on better customer service. A lot of them were standing around talking, it even took about 15mins for them to ask if we had been helped yet.. it wasn’t overly busy when we were there so I’m unsure why service was so bad.

Super Smash Burger

I was looking for a venue for my 30th birthday and one of my friends suggested Glitch. Since most of my friends I've made through board games and video games I thought this would be the best place to celebrate. Everything went so perfectly. It was exactly what I was looking for and all my guests had such a great time. They even let me hook up my Nintendo Switch so I could progress some of my games! The fries have probably become my favourite in the city! The email communication between myself and Trevor went by very smoothly as well. All my questions were answered in a timely and informative manner. I'll have to definitely celebrate again at Glitch some time! Hands down my favourite arcade bar in the city!

I'm so sorry...as other people said...a lot of potential BUT 0 good service. When we arrived there was only 5 tables (10 peoples in total) we waited 50 minutes for 2 hamburger. I've also ordered some mayo and I never received. The barman (long hair) was more interested to "play" with the waitress then making cocktails. Their policy to keep your documents,pictures and maybe also holding the credit card it's unsafe it's ridiculous. I can understand that people are going outside without paying but there's tons of other way. It's the 4th time that I'm coming here. Every time a different bad experience. I used to love how this place looks but...sorry...you lost a customer and his group of friends.

I really enjoyed the blue slushie drinks & air hockey. They played great 80's & 90's music I love. Overall good experience. I went on Saturday September 24th, 2022 to celebrate a friend's birthday. Most servers were friendly. However, would have given more stars IF the D.J played better music which went downhill from there. I preferred the arcade's playlist 100% better. And he seemed unpleasant when I approached him to ask for a little song request. He said he was still setting up which literally took over an hour.‍♀️. Also be prepared to spend at least $50 + to feel satisfied for food & drinks Per person. Food portions are small.

We just had my husbands birthday here on the weekend! We were able to make a large reservation and have a portion of tables reserved in the back no problem. The service was quick and the staff were all fabulous. We were even allowed to bring our own birthday cake in. Great place for a big group when people are dropping in and out. Love all the arcade games as well as the video games! My husband and I also come here for dinner when we’re craving smash burgers. Since they revamped their menu and kitchen, we can’t get enough of them! Delicious, great quality burgers and crispy fries and onions rings. Always dreaming of my next smash burger!

The atmosphere here is just mind blowing!! It has many different games options. Most of them are $2 per session.I loved the vibe of the place. The cocktails are ok, definitely not a big fan of the spicy margarita, it was too much spicy to the point of not enjoying it. The wings are a delicious option! We tried the super smash burger as well, it was too salty, and it was pretty small, the fries were good though. I definitely recommend this place to grab some drinks, share some appies and play games.

This was the second time that I went to this bar with friends, and I must say: It's still a very fun, atmospheric, and friendly establishment! The smash burgers were delicious, the drinks stellar, and the game availability (for both the arcade and the consoles) was delightful. I highly recommend getting their Do Good Things Burger with the fries (if you like the legendary mushrooms and gooey Swiss cheese combo), as well as "The Frenchie", which nearly knocked my socks clean off in terms of drink strength. Thanks for giving me and my friends a place to make wonderful memories in. We will be sure to return soon. :)

Came here with a bunch of friends last night and it was so much fun! So many games to play, (all the console games were free to play) we were never bored! I did not expect the food to be as good as it was, but the super smash burger was one of the best burgers I’ve ever had, and the fries were seasoned perfectly! Our server, Selena, was also such a gem! My table of 10 was well taken care of by her :) will definitely visit again!

The place has great potential, but I felt that the experience was different than what is promoted. I was expecting way more 80s & 90s music. Friendly service, but it could’ve been better - empty glasses on our table throughout the night, we wanted to order more and no one was checking on us. Drinks were great, I would’ve ordered more but no one came to ask. Loved the fries! Expensive arcade games. Overall the night was nice, but below the expectations! :/

Awesome place. Heard about it through social media so thought I’d check it out with a friend while we’re in town. Retro games available as well as various arcade like games. Fantastic staff!! Really friendly and welcoming. Food was kinda extra greasy. Music was a far too loud for my tastes and triggered my sensory issues some.. but a good selection of 90-2000's dance tracks remixed. Decor was really cool and fun. Try pressing the button in the gender neutral bathroom. Overall a really nice experience and would recommend for drinks, tho maybe bring earplugs..

Never write review but I was there Sunday eve, bar was empty with only 4 tables and 2 bar seat taken. We set at the bar waited to get server. Just waiting there, our bartender wearing baseball cap back side front. Didn’t even said hello. Neither the other server was there too. It was weird never happened this in yaletown/west end or gastown. Not sure what it was but No from me I’d like Greta and would continue going there bigger space and you get service

We just had my son's 12th birthday party here. It was a great venue and the staff were really welcoming. Trevor was extremely responsive to all my questions and setting up the details. Would highly recommend. My husband and I are also really looking forward to coming back without kids for a future date night. My husband is also thinking it would be a great venue for a work team-building event.

The food was okay and decently priced but the drinks were a tad on the expensive side, that's just downtown in general unfortunately. Seriously, time for a different bar in Vancouver, and this is it! This bar is also an arcade...but with retro console games (N64, etc), along with a pool table, classic games like skeeball, and many others. The cocktails are wicked, including a selection of boozy slushy cocktails, and has a great happy hour. Come in early, this place has a lineup on the weekends!!

Had a wonderful experience here playing arcade games and the drinks were fantastic. I just wouldn't recommend the food here as it was just mediocre and barely fast food quality but if you're just out for drinks with friends this is a great place to go. And not to mention their ladies washroom is a must visit! Update: they have added burgers which were pretty good!

An expensive place, but well worth the price. Full of games you can play for free, just ask the staff. Food takes a little longer here, be patient and allot extra time to get it. I can recommend the English Bulldog for drinks.

Brought back alot of fun memories . 1 tip would be coat hangers on some of the pillars or something to hang your coat while you enjoy yourself . It seemed to be a friendly safe atmosphere we wouldn't have minded this .

As much as I wanted to enjoy it, it was a bad experience. Overworked and passive aggressive staff. Strange choice of decor (Why camp chairs?) Shallow and bad attitude patrons (this is not the staff fault). They won’t socialize with you or make you feel like you belong. Avoid if you’re a solo drinker or a foreigner adventuring.

Just had an amazing experience at Glitch, we ordered a lot of shots and cocktails, my friend and I had such a fun time going around the place playing different game. The bill came and it was amazingly cheap too. Would definitely visit again.
