I took my beloved, healthy Hijito Mio, a 10 year old cat to the vet ...to be seen for constipation. It was about 4:00 PM. They told me they needed to give him an enema. A little before 5:00 PM (quitting time), they said he had not had a BM and I should take him home and watch him. They were in a real hurry to get us out of there. They were more concerned about me bringing their pet carrier back than they were about Hijito Mio. When we got home, I let my Hijito Mio walk from the car to the house (he was anxious to get home) and noticed that he apparently had a lot of fluid in his body cavity as his belly was swinging back and forth. He went into the house and laid on his belly behind a heavy desk. At 12 midnight he was still there in the same position but seemed to be alert. I went to bed. I woke up at 4:00 AM and went to check on him....he was DEAD !!!..stiff !!...He had tried to get to our bedroom....he was halfway there, when he died. How could an enema kill a healthy, strong vital cat?...... IF THEY PERFERATED HIS COLON!!!...AND THE FLUID EMPTYED INTO HIS BODY CAVITY...THAT WOULD EXPLAIN HIS BELLY SWINGING BACK AND FORTH WHEN I BROUGH HIM HOME.!!!!....AND THE FACT THAT HE NEVER HAD A BM !!!!!!! ..the enema fluid never was in his intestine! THEY KILLED MY BELOVED HIJITO MIO !!!!...through carelessness, and thoughtlessness!... I am sure the vet passed the responsibility of inserting the enema to a careless, thought less, BRAINLESS employee, who did not care and the result was DEATH FOR A BELOVED PET..!!! If you have a pet you love...you should think twice about taking them to these heartless people who do not care,.one bit, about your beloved pet!
This veterinary practice is absolutely amazing. I'm so glad they were my first choice. Good Shepherd is going to be my choice of vet for life now. My recently adopted stray cat had a nasty leg infection that really worried me. When I called, they said they were booked out quite a ways into the future, but they were able to squeeze me in that very day. The care my cat has received has been amazing. You can tell that the folks who work there really care about animals and love what they do. I was worried it was going to cost me an arm, and my cat, a leg... but I was blown away at how reasonable the prices were for the services rendered. They also took care of her shots, and microchipped her on that same first visit. They truly go above and beyond. For the initial appointment, bandaging, an antibiotics shot, painkillers, all her vaccinations, and a microchipping, I only had to pay around 275 dollars. I went back for a bandage job twice a week, and it only cost 28 dollars each time. The quality of their work, and the supplies they use is so worth it. I don't know if you ever had to wrestle with a cat with long claws, to try and bandage a wound in a way that is not too tight, not too loose, and something that they cannot escape from... I ended up with more scratches than I could count, and I think it traumatized us both to some extent. I would gladly pay more than the $28 I was charged for that bandaging job, because it was done correctly and with care. My cats leg is now fully healed, and she has more energy and love than I thought she was capable of. I shudder to think of how she would be if we went to a different practice.
These people really have no clue what they're doing. They misdiagnosed my cat and now he's dead. He had a long history of UTIs, which were treated at Good Shepard. A few weeks ago, he was having problems urinating, so I took him in expecting it to be another urinary problem. He had a lot of fluid in his belly. The first vet I spoke to tried to tell me it was fat. I told her it very definitely was not, as it just developed over the past week. She proceeded to argue with me and basically told me I didn't know what I was talking about. I left him with them to run some tests. Their diagnosis was irritable bowel syndrome which lead to leaky gut syndrome. They changed his food and had me give him sub epidermal fluids for dehydration. I took him back the following week and he had not improved. They told me to keep feeding him the new food and bring him back the following week, so I did. When I took him back in, he was worse. They wanted to insert a feeding tube into his stomach, which was something I didn't want to do. They said the alternative was to keep feeding him the new food and see if he improves. He got worse to the point he could barely walk. I took him to VCA Animal Hospital to get a second opinion. I had googled Good Shepard's diagnosis and the symptoms were completely different. When I took him to VCA, they said he had kidney disease. By the time I took him in, his kidneys had failed and he had to be euthanized. If Good Shepard had properly diagnosed him, he could have been treated and would still be alive today. If you love your pet, I would take him or her somewhere else.
Just spent $600 to take my cat here and got precisely ZERO answers from the extremely flaky and vague doctor. She basically charged us $600 to give us a referral to an outrageously-priced specialist 45 minutes outside of town. After doing her examination and telling us it was a neurological issue, she should've charged us her examination fee and left it at that, with a referral at that point - instead she tacked on hundreds of dollars of extra tests and labs that aren't of any consequence and yielded nothing. She gave us no general prognosis, no information, and no recommendations other than to go to a specialist that would charge $500 just to walk through the door, and then thousands more for tests. I feel like a veterinary doctor should have enough general, overall knowledge of the animals she works with to at least give us some basic information, especially after multiple x-rays and an examination. To top it off, there was a family waiting in the lobby when we walked in to pick up our pet who got the SAME spiel - "Well, I'm just a general doctor, and I can do every day stuff, but I'm going to have to refer you to a specialist" - probably charged them more than half a grand, too. Just disgusted. Never coming back and telling anyone who asks for recommendations to STEER CLEAR.
We came here for to bring our small terrier mix, after calling a few places that only see you by appointments, good shepherd said come right in or we have a few appointment either way they would see us... so we came in right away, on the phone they had ask me what had happened and after explaining that we thought she ate something cause she wanst eating or really moving much, they said they might want xrays and blood work. When we came in the doctor was very nice ask alot of questions and let us ask alot of questions, after she looked at our dog. She said if we wanted too she would still do the blood and xrays but that it wasnt necessary. That she had a bit of a fever and she would give her antibiotics and some pills what ever bug she had was probably what was making her feel down but nothing that she probably ate. After a few days she got better and was back to her normal jumpy self that's why we call her bunny. we paid 120 for the whole visit. Great people great prices, people that care about the animals and there owners. Definitely recommend...
Just average. Like many clinics, Good Shepherd will work to get you in and out as quickly as possible. It'll be expensive. They'll want to sell you as much medication and product as possible. I was charged for "wellness exams" that never happened. They recommended I not buy bigger doses and split them (so I would have to buy 2-4 times as much.) All in all, Good Shepherd is like pretty much any other American business involving health care (be it for animals or humans.) It's gonna be costly. Everyone there is working like crazy to get everything done. I'm sure the rent and taxes for GS have increased. All of their suppliers and contractors have probably increased their rates. Group health care plans are going up. I was there for 20 minutes and left $500 lighter, but I guess that's just the cost of pet ownership (for two young dogs in perfect health) these days. The staff and vets are great, but they sure seem like they are stretched thin and forced to upsell just to keep the whole train moving.
Took my senior kitty here for a UTI and a checkup. They were fast, thorough, and all-around successful. Very warm and kind to Shadow, they took him out of his carrier into the back room where they procured a urine sample and gave him an injection of antibiotics. He went home with three pain pills (one per day), the first of which they administered on site. [The vet he had seen previously had me collect a urine sample myself (which, if you’ve never dealt with a UTI in any organic creature, it’s damn near impossible to get a UTI-ridden pee sample out of a litter box, as there is truly not much to work with) and sent him home with a 7-day treatment of liquid Clavamox, which took two courses to clear up his symptoms.] This vet clinic was far more efficient than my previous experiences and, believe it or not, significantly less expensive! He went in a week later for his checkup, which took all of maybe 10 minutes, and seems absolutely fine since. Definitely going back, definitely recommend.
We were in a dire situation, my dog was severely ill and needed to take him into a vet right away. Good Shepherd made a same day appointment for my dog (Boxer), I had showed up about 45min. Early and they took him in anyway because of his bad state. The vet was super nice and sympathetic to our situation.. They took our dog to the back and gave him pain medication so he would not be in pain and also put him on IV fluids. They allowed us to wait in the waiting room while they tried to save our beloved dog, during our wait the staff was very nice and accommodating. After all was said and done we were to late to save our 9yr old Boxer puppy, vet and staff were very compassionate towards us and even allowed us in the back to be with our puppy for his final breaths. A few weeks later they sent our family a "sorry for your loss" card!! I would definitely recommend this place to other people!! Super friendly and compassionate staff and affordable.
We started our relationship with Good Shepard caring for our Doxie-Beagle. Lizzie had renal failure and was in their care the last months of her life. The compassion, professionalism and knowledge they demonstrated was second to none. Together, we worked out a treatment plan and agreed on what treatments did not make sense. I bought a number of supplies for Lizzie, including sub-q fluid. They offered a very reasonable price for a dozen bags. All of Lizzie's supplies were cheaper than her previous vet. Lizzie was euthanized at Good Shepard. They accommodated our very short notice with ease.and shared in our grief. After she died, they bought back the unused supplies unless it was prohibited by state law. We rescued a beagle a few weeks ago and he is now in their care.
I came in to get a staple removed that was placed by an emergency vet after my dog was attacked by another dog. They were able to squeeze me in for Dr. Bingham to check my dog's wound since I had some concerns. Dr. Bingham took my dog back and found that my dog had developed an abscess. The staff were able to take her that same day to get the wound drained and insert a drain tube. It turned out that her wound was a lot worse than the original clinic accessed and treated which was an unpleasant surprise. Through the whole process the staff were generous, professional and pleasant to work with. They went out of their way to make sure my dog was well taken care of. They are definitely my favorite clinic in town!
Nice, clean, friendly and Cool inside. A little pricey but it's not like you are going to have to go there often so... overall I don't have any real complaints. Found out that Fergie has doggy arthritis and not digestive issues which is what we initially thought. Which is good news to know that her pain is going to be under control with her new prescription of antiinflammatories. Which I believe is a scam for the reason that the medicine they claim is only for dogs is nothing more than a reduced mgs of our ibuprofen. But it makes our whole family happy so what the heck right??? Thanks for tuning in...
I had taken my dog there for 3 years and adopted another dog in December so we called to get him seen well they didn’t have any appointments. Ok that’s ok. We took our new adopted fur baby to a different vet and then decided to take our other fur baby to the other vet too. So they would both be seen at the same vet.... didn’t want 2 different vets. Come to find out my first fur baby was prescribed meds that he actually did NOT need for 2-3 stinking years. We have been wasting our money and the Quack vet dr here has been taking us for a ride. WOW JUST WACKOS NEEDS TO HAVE THIER LICENSE REVOKED!
I've been to several vet clinics in the last 3 years and this one, by far, has been the worst. If it wasn't for the tech, I wouldn't even rate it a one star. The doctor never explained to me what was going on with my pet because she was too busy telling me what my pet "needed" (chips, vaccinations he already had etc, etc) then proceeded to give me a ridiculous estimate on the very high end, double of what other pet clinics charge. St. Francis please don't refer people there anymore. St. Francis vets are MUCH more thorough, caring, and not to mention, affordable.
Terrible customer service. When I initially called in to make the appointment the woman I spoke to was terrible rude and very unhelpful. I ignored it and gave them the benefit of the doubt this was last month. Now today I called in to confirm the appointment and got someone else and same story. She was so condescending and made me feel stupid. I just asked her to cancel my appointment I will be taking my business elsewhere. No matter how busy you are it doesn’t take any extra effort to be kind. Can’t imagine how they are towards the poor animals.
When it was time to put our dog to sleep he was 20 years and 5 mos old. He had an attack and the next day he could not walk. I made the decision to put him to sleep. I called and asked for an appointment I was told it was 3 weeks out . He had just been there 2 mos earlier. The girl who answered was so uncaring and rude I just said thankyou and hung up. I called northview and got in the next day. He had gone there too but we switched because it was so far away. I won't take our other pets there anymore, I'll drive the distance to northview.
We used GSAC appx 4 years for our dog. They missed his thyroid issue despite clear neurological symptoms. An easy blood test would have shown it. It worsened and we ended up in the ER. We gave them the benefit of the doubt and went back, but both times the vet told me he needed an additional service that she’d phased out of her practice, so I had to follow up with an animal hospital anyway. If you have young, healthy animals that need basic care, I guess this can work. But there are a lot of better options in the area.
If I could give no stars I would. I called in about euthanizing my blue heeler. She was old and was dying. I called around 2:30pm. Receptionist said she would call me back and never did. I lost options on other vets because I was waiting. My dog ended up having seizures that shook our entire couch and it woke me up at 7am. I took my dog to TLC vet on Wyoming and euthanized Cloud at 10:30am. I am scarred for life having to see my dog suffer through out the entire night and into the morning. I highly recommend TLC.
Just called today 12/18/23 to ask for new appointment form my 13 yr old. Was unhappy with Aztec Animal Clinic in the past. Good Shepherd came with a strong referral from friends. Was disappointed to hear the clinic is not taking new patients my Maggie could use some help. I did not experience rudeness from the person answering the phone but was initially hung up on the first time I called. The person was unwilling to refer to another clinic so I am still at a loss. Just trying to get my old pup some help.
Good Shepherd has been my vet for years and I have always been pleased. You can usually be seen in a reasonable timeframe and the prices are fair compared to VCA. Same vets have been there for years and I trust them. What really makes them stand out - they don’t try to sell you on services you don’t need. I had asked about getting my dogs teeth cleaned last visit and they responded by saying that she probably didn’t need it yet, rather than taking the opportunity to sell you a very expensive service.
They took great care of my cat over the years that I used this clinic. I felt that the vet was very compassionate and supportive with understanding options when my cat got cancer and later when the time came to put her down. I wanted to bury her out of town at my family’s farm, so they kept her for me until I had time off to go up there. They didn’t charge me anything for that time and there was nothing confusing or difficult about the process of having them keep her until I could pick her up again.
Super caring folks work here. This is quite a busy clinic, but they have the most awesome staff. Call to make an appointment! Whether you need routine vet care for your pet (including exotics), or whether it's something more serious- they are more than capable of taking care of you. Hours are 9-6 Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday and open 8-12 on Wednesday. The prices are more affordable than most vets around town, and they will help you find a way to get help if you cant afford the care needed.
They were not unterested in giving me ideas on how to handle the 25 o/o kidney loss or giving me an idea when to follow. Then they gave my daughter pills instead of a prescription to be filled at Sams club as promised. They did give her a prescription for petsmart but failled to tell me there are only two pet marts that could fill a special diet need. When i asked at the front desk as i was paying what type of dog food would best for an older dog, they were reluctant to help me
They did xrays for my dog to figure out why he was limping. They were quick, friendly, and very upfront with costs. When the first xray revealed what the issue was they didn't perform or charge for the unnecessary 2nd xray that I'd already agreed to pay for. They told me my dog needed surgery and even recommended local vets who could perform that surgery and gave me a minute to compose myself. They also sent me digital copies of the xrays that same day.
For over 17 years Dr. Skiens and her staff took care of my much loved Schanzer and others in between and never once did I feel that they were rude or insensitive to our needs. Always the best of interest, professionalism, and love was shown to me and to my babies. This review is a bit late being written because I just didn't know how to say thank you enough. I can only hope to find another half as good since I have moved to Texas. We miss you guys!!!
The Good Shepherd Clinic’s Dr. Skains and her staff have been a Godsend for our Bailey. Two months ago, Bailey couldn’t stand on his own, let alone, walk, and he was in terrible pain. With PRP therapy coupled with weekly chiropractic treatments, Bailey can now stand, take a few steps on his own and he no longer needs pain medication. We’re so grateful for the Good Shepherd clinic and its wonderful staff and we highly recommend them!
Have taken care of my dog a few times. . He gets his shots there. . Has had surgery at this location. . The surgery went well. The doctor came out afterwards and explained everything to us. . If there was one thing I didn't like, it was when we were told to bring our dog in by 7:30. So he could be prepped for surgery by 9. But he wasn't. Taken into surgery till noon So while he was there he had to wait in one of the Kennels.
I adore Dr. Bingham! She is extremely knowledgeable and experienced. Most importantly kind and compassionate. Services are reasonably priced. Staff is wonderful. Extra safety precautions during this pandemic are in place and makes you feel comfortable during these times of uncertainty. All around a wonderful place for care of our fur babies. Thank you Good Shepherd staff and vets. You all are absolutely fantastic!!
The vet thought my dog would need a dental cleaning when I first brought her in last year. She's been getting dental treats almost every day for the last year. I took her in today, and the vet told me she didn't think it was worth putting her under anesthesia for the amount of plaque she had. Clearly she's not in it to get rich, and has the animals best interest at heart. I would have been an easy sell if she was.
The team at Good Sheppard is wonderful. We rescued two puppies recently, One of which has had systemic health issues and Good Sheppard has been there for the pup every step of the way. Vets that support rescues, the fosters, and the adopting families are heroes. Whether you're a pet lover who rescued or obtained from a breeder and you're looking for a Vet with boundless compassion, go to GS.
Dr. Skane and the staff are amazing! We have been taking our terrier mix to Good Shepherd since 2005. We always get personal attention, and everyone there knows his name and history from memory. When he got pneumonia they were able to get his fever down quickly and help us nurse him back to health. They combine traditional methods with a holistic approach. I wouldn't go anywhere else!
Needed to put down my dog who was dieing they kept saying he'll be fine and kept giving him medications and ivs cause he had congestive heart failure and poor thing couldn't really breathe unfortunately he passed away in the kitchen last night these people run with your money and also expensive compared to a vet I go to in Rio Rancho wont go there again rest easy oso
The staff was kind and the building was clean. My appointment was late in the day, and the staff was fatigued but professional. My pet had to get shots. Although I was not present with him during the exam, shots, and blood work, which I did not care for, he returned happy and seemingly not anxious. The vet also answered all my questions with friendliness.
Our experience was aweful we brought our boxer fawn in and the Vet tech was rude and unprofessional. Did nothing to help us with are sick dog. The vet was even worse she didn't seem to have any compassion. So people please DO NOT TAKE your animals to this HORRIBLE clinic. Why put good in the name of your clinic there is NOTHING GOOD about you!!!
I was there a few years ago I was short money they don't want give me my dog back. I had call my husband to come with money! Also they planned to do eye surgery on my sharpei they took blood test and when I came for the surgery they changed plan and told me to not need surgery! Wasted my time and money. Poor dog
I have 3 pups which Good Sheperd has always taken great care of. With any Vet, you may look at expensive bills or prompt service, but I feel this staff is more in line with customer/pet owner interests. They have always been respectful of billing, and work schedules. Good Sheperd will always have my business.
I have visited this clinic over the last five years, since my dog was a puppy. The front desk is always quick and friendly and Doctor Bingham is honest, helpful, and very knowledgeable! I would recommend this clinic simply because they genuinely seem to care about Maddie's (my dog's) well being.
I have been using this clinic for a long time. Today they went above and beyond. The staff and doctors at this clinic have always been friendly and extremely professional. If you're looking for a place that shows compassion and care for their patients and their familie, this is the place to go!
That's that Marion's you can ever get they will not overcharge you they will not take your sympathy and make money off it they are very Capable competent sympathetic empathetic people you'll ever get they will become family to you I love them dearly and have been using them for many years
I love these guys they treat everyone like family they really care about the animals and everyone is very respectful and polite very unlike experiences I have had with other vet offices in the area. I love them and they work with local shelters and rescues in the area which I also love.
I needed an emergency vet and luckily they were able to see me and see my cat which had been found after 2 1/2 weeks and was completely freaked out. The whole staff was wonderful and treated my kitty so well. He’s going to be fine and this is going to be my vet to go to from now on
Rude. Very very rude. Took my dog back to get an xray and came back telling me they had also given him a vaccine. Even tho I was not informed and did not concent. The vet practically had me in tears with the way she was talking to me. I would advise you to chose a different clinic.
Our dog had a bad knee injury. We couldnt get in anywhere quickly when it happened. We were able to make it in to good Shepard get scans and medications for our dog the same day. We Will be taking her back for surgery with dr Gonzales a great experience all around at this office.
I've taken my dog here for years and I've never been disappointed. Dr. Bingham is very knowledgable and compassionate, and all the techs and desk staff are wonderful as well. They do their best to keep everything low cost, including the food that they sell, which I appreciate.
Dr. Skeins is a wonderful choice for old dogs like ours. She is well educated and loves animals. It shows. Our 14 year old lab mix requires frequent nail trims and he seems to enjoy his time with the vet techs for these visits more than he's tolerated prior visits elsewhere.
I was so nervous when my puppy had to go in for an abnormal neuter. Good Sherherd's staff was so sweet and patient with my annoying, OCD behavior. I just can't help it when it comes to my dogs. They took such great care of him though! I had nothing to worry about! ❤ …
The staff and vets at Good Sheperd are amazing. They strive to provide a welcoming and friendly experience for both owners and pets. Prices are extremely reasonable and I would recommend Good Sheperd to anyone looking for someone to take good care of their fur baby.
This was our first time coming to get checked here. I was very impressed with the cleanliness of the facility, the staff was very pleasant and Dr. Spain's was wonderful with Stella! They are very affordable $55 exam. We are going back to get Stella's teeth cleaned!
I just received bad news about one of my dogs, but Dr. Bingham was great. She sat down and went over everything with me and she answered every question I had. She didn't make me feel like she was just rushing me to the door. I will not hesitate to go back.
called to make an appointment for my German Shepard for cataracts, they donnot treat vision problems, receptionist stated, so I asked if she (the receptionist) knew of anyone who does? she replied, "find someone" and hung up...very rude phone etiquette!
While I didn't visit, I did have a phone consultation with them and they were incredibly kind and helpful. That's what makes a good business - giving proper and thorough information on the phone instead of being forced to go in. Thank you!
Called to find out if they did Cushing's test for my dog and the girl who answered the phone told me no, as if I was asking a ridiculous question wwhen I am not sure she even understood what I was asking...as the other reviewer I hung up.
I really like the Doctors and staff at Good Shepherd. They take good care of all routine and minor emergencies I had with my dogs and cat. I came to them when I adopted a dog from the city shelter. They got her and my next adoptees off
This is a place where I took my dog lucky I received lucky from Pets Alive and they had already had the key on a treatment there that saved his life the people there are very nice and considerate and they take good care of all your pets
Very polite, very knowledgeable, careful about their work for the animal and the owner of the pet I would recommend this pet clinic, for the reasons above and not just trying to get your money. Glad to have found them. Thanks, Robin
I help my neighbor carry her African parrot into the building. We carry the cage into the exam room. I'm allowed to stay in there. I'm very impressed with the doctor. She shows genuine compassion and passion toward the bird. …
This company used to be trustworthy but is not to be recommended anymore. Their treatment preparation is excessive, and their animal treatment procedures shows a clear disrespect and lack of compassion. We were very disappointed.
Our dog got bone cancer and we had to make the difficult decision to let her go. That day was devastating but the compassion and care we received at Good Shepherd made it easier. A great place with truly wonderful people.
First the place was clean. No smell in the morning and just as clean in the evening. They were kind to the animals. There was a lot of customers and they seemed pretty efficient and getting through the list. I'd go back.
I was on the phone with Jackie and she said they aren’t taking any exotic animals. Please tell me how a FANCY MOUSE is considered exotic? Was recommended by VCA to give them a call and they told me to go back to VCA.
I've been taking my Fur babies here for 16 years and there staff are wonderful to work with! I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a caring Vet Clinic such as Good Shepherd. …
Beware people in wheelchairs there is no Ada ramp or parking. The staff is very friendly and is willing to make accommodations. If the Ada stuff was resolved this place would be more than five stars
At first I was worried that my dog came out worse after they checked her leg. I have no idea what they did but her limp was better in less than a week and she started putting pressure on it.
Make sure you put an e-collar on your dog after stitches even if the vets do not instruct you to do so. It could add another $140 in re-stitching, adding up to $400 for 5 stitches.
my pit bull flynt has decided that this is his new vetdr bingham has a marvelous way with my critter, i got great advice and superb service and got charged a minimal amount …
We used Good Shepherd Vet clinic for our adopted puppy neutering which Argos dog rescue uses. They were awesome. We live in Corrales so we have a vet closer to us we will use.
The staff are friendly and knowledgeable. They take great care of my dogs at a reasonable cost. We appreciate their willingness to teach us how to care for our senior pets.
They seem friendly and competent. They started our appointment on time, related well to the cat/patient, and charged what seemed like a reasonable amount. We will be back.
Took a pup we saved here who got her leg broken. Dr Julia was very nice and the pricing is very reasonable! We only paid 240 for shots a check up, x-ray, a cast, and meds!
They are so helpful & friendly at Good Shepard Animal Clinic! They cared for my poor Brownie's eye that got infected & you could feel their level of concern was genuine!
The staff and the veterinarians were very helpful, kind, understanding, and treated my animals wonderfully. Also their services are reasonably priced and affordable.
So good to all of my families pets, they treat my Alabama girl so good, have compassion and are affordable.. Thanks for always taking good care of our crazy animals.
I love this place. This is the only hospital I will take my animals to. Been bringing Mangosteen here since he c was 6 mos he's gonna be 4 now. Highly recommend
Ive been bringing my Pets to Good Shepherd for 20 years. Everyone here really cares about quality of life. Both Doctors are Brilliant! Thank you Good Shepherd!
Brought my dog over after adopting her. They really care for there animals and the owners as well. I would differently keep bring back my four leged child.
My cat got put down and the people who work there were there for us standing by our sides and sympathetic, overall great place to go and great environment
Have been client for many years for my cats and dogs. Last visit was to put my last pet my 14-year-old poodle to sleep. Staff was very caring. Thank you
The staff and Dr Skains are always extremely nice. My dog doesn't mind going to see them, in fact he waggs tail during the whole exam!!! …
I love the Good Sheppard Animal Clinic. They are friendly, knowledgeable, and take really good care of my cat. Julia is the best veterinarian in town.
Everyone at Good Shepard is so nice. They have taken such good care of our dog and even saved my dogs life on my opinion. Very reasonable pricing too.
One of the longest running veterinary clinics in town! The service has always been good, and they don't charge like some of the corporate run clinics.
Awesome care for my 4 leggeds (4cats, 2 dogs) and Awesome people working there. I've been going there for many years and have always been impressed.
The people here are great. We love on the westside and drive out dog across town to come here. Very reasonable prices and amazing, caring employees.
These folks are truly angels. The commitment to animals is amazing, and I feel seen and heard when I bring my pets in for checkups or emergencies.
Affordable prices, fast service. If your dog needs shots there is no appointment needed just walk in on their walk in hours. Also, friendly staff.
Private Club it seems. Why even have a sign out front if you don't want business? No new clients will be taken. Probably some kind of front
They have always taken good care of my dogs and I, they are affordable and great in urgent situations (although they are not an ER)
Excellent place for all pets. Dr. Skains is so so good as the veterinarian there. She takes excellent care for all her patients :)
Always thinking first about the pet and what it needs and has always tried to keep costs reasonable for us as we are both retired.
I needed a great, down to earth, open and direct doctor to be "the" go to for my two 1 year old standard poodles. I found her here.
