They overpriced us for what they sold us. Told us all hotels will be 3star on the trip, costing around 50 euros per night. But some of the hotels were really non star rated. Hotel Botakekey in Miandrivazzo was a joke, dont think it cost more than 20 euros a night. Second night we slept in Kirindy forest, nice bungalows for accomodation, but we paid park fees of 15 euros each simply because the hotel is 5km into the park and yet we didnt do the park tour. Agency was not informed on where it was taking its guests. Hotels in Bekopaka, Morondava, Belo were really good. In Morombe, we were booked in another bad hotel, you could see that toilets were used by previous guests and not cleaned, broken showers, rooms never maintained or cleaned for ages. That was a real shocker, looked like some abandoned facility. In Salari we had the best Ecological hotel (un peu plus au nord) with bungalows, quiet area on the beach with best food, all fresh and home made. In Ranohira, again another not so nice hotel. In Ranomafana, they had booked us one hotel but we refused to get in on realizing it was dissappointing compared to price paid. They had to book another one nearby. Bottom line is, there is no one single hotel which could have cost more than 30/35 euros. We also had a bad car (pick-up) while traveling almost 3000km. Another big issue as it was so uncomfortable. We also shortened our trip by 16 hours which saved fuel. Generally expected a refund following all these events, but were told this was not possible Agency needs to do better, get informed, train its employess to find better accomodation. They need to really deliver what they sell or change their strategy to "pay lower and travel/stay cheap". The best about the journey was the office assitance accompanying us (Anushka). She was good at organizing and getting things done. She gets a 5-star rating

A four person company from the Baltics with 20 years of travel experience we just went on an 8 day southern tour. Before, we tried to change and optimize the route, but during the trip we made sure that Green Island Discovery was right. Problems lie with Madagascar's infrastructure, not with the tour operators. The overall organizational level even surprised us. Everything was punctual in time and as promised. The selected hotels met European standards - good beds, dinners and bathrooms. I especially want to bring out the guide (on photo) Calman (or Kalman?). In a country where language and social barriers exist, his skills were invaluable. We also felt safe in many of the non-standard situations that are inevitable in such trips. On rare occasions, the driver and the guide feel the air in the cabin or our interest in what's happening in the area. Never had to ask, the guide always read our wishes and offered options for action. We were also initially a little confused by working with an unfamiliar company, but in the end we can give you the best opinions on Green Island Discovery.

ESTAFA. FRAUD. Pagamos 3 personas 90€ para ir en coche desde el hotel hasta el palacio de la reina, precio que nos pareció muy elevado dado que habíamos visto por internet que las entradas al palacio y el museo eran 10000Ar, en cambio el hombre de la agencia nos dijo que era el doble por lo que confiamos en él y aceptamos. Al llegar a las taquillas vimos que era el precio que nosotros habíamos encontrado anteriormente por lo que le reclamamos el dinero de más que nos había cobrado por las entradas y se negaron a devolvernoslo. Además el trayecto fueron 15 minutos de subida y 15 de bajada, acordando un taxi desde la calle es mucho más económico.

Mes amis et moi sont très contents de l'aventure sauvage que nous avons eu à Madagascar. Le guide était génial et la visite était vraiment bien planifiée et exécutée! Madagascar est vraiment incroyable! On est vraiment heureux du voyage. Le groupe était génial. Les petites randonnées que nous avons faites étaient incroyables, et les tsingy sont vraiment magnifiques. Le voyage entier était bien organisé! L'accueil des agents était adorable. Notre chauffeur guide Hery est un tel professionnalisme. En tout, l’organisation du voyage était irréprochable sauf L’hôtel à Manja mais compensé par un paysage hors du commun à Salary et Ifaty. Agence à conseiller !!!!

VAYA TIMO! Nos cobraron mucho más de lo que era y al reclamar fueron unos impresentables. El "SOLE HOTEL" donde se encuentra la agencia y donde nos hospedabamos no hizo absolutamente nada por ayudarnos. Nada recomendable ni el hotel ni la agencia!
