The worst, and most traumatising buying experience I have ever had to deal with in my life. 12 plus months later and even thinking about when I went through Halo to buy my car, that mind you cost $62,000, and it causes me anxiety and sleepless nights. From the treatment by the General Manager the way he spoke to me and jumped down my throat when I mentioned I would like to have a pre purchase inspection, and his response being the car was already encumbered to me anyway like no matter what it was too bad so sad now regardless of what was found during the inspection, to the issues we found after we drive away. Including 4 brand new tyres that were needed after we drove out of the car lot, airbag lights coming on, leaking exhaust we had to take back twice, damaged swing arm, and the issues go on. The response by the GM being that the cars are bought so fast after advertised that there is no time to fix them before they leave with the new owners... Considering I was taking my family and small children in the car, I found this to be really concerning. Considering we bought a luxury vehicle, the service and this business was far from luxury. I still have nightmares and can't breathe when I even see the name of this business after this horrible experience.

If you're looking for a car yard with integrity I highly recommend Kaleb and Darren from Halo. Upon receiving my vehicle there were some mechanical issues, it took one phone call to Kaleb and my vehicle was on its way back to Halo where they showed great integrity, honesty and customer service by going above and beyond to fix the vehicles problem. Darren went even further by giving me a replacement vehicle whilst mine was being fixed. Kaleb and Darren kept a high level of communication with me throughout the process and were very understanding of my personal needs with the situation. When my vehicle was ready to go it was delivered to my door in mint condition. To find a second hand car yard that truly care about not just for their customers but the vehicles themselves is a rare find these days. If you are looking for the perfect vehicle I highly recommend giving Halo a call and ask for Kaleb you will be in good hands.

Bought a Mitsubishi ASX LS off them. Had a very positive experience with both Darren and Sam. Very professional and were very helpful in explaining the positives, negatives, value and history of the car. They were patient in my decision making and considerate of my needs to make sure I was happy with the purchase. They had recommended this car based off my wants after a car I had initially wanted got sold first. They followed up with me and didn't come across too pushy with the sale Felt very secure and confident of the state of the car as they allowed me to take the car on a long test drive to ensure I was happy with it. The fact I was able to drive the car at my own pleasure was definitely a bonus and peace of mind. Can't recommend them enough! The bottle of champagne at the end of the purchase also helps... just a little cherry on top of a positive experience

I recently purchased a car from Halo. I was in the very unfortunate position of the car showing signs of a serious mechanical issue within 30 minutes of driving it away from the dealer, the absolute nightmare scenario. I contacted Halo and they immediately went into action to resolve the issue. Within 5 minutes I had a call back from their service centre and a plan was made. Unfortunately the car required major work to get it back on the road and that wouldn't be a quick process. Therefore, they allowed me to swap to a different car, as I requested. These things sometimes happen with used cars. However, Halo did everything they could to make it right. Other customers can be reassured that if the worst does happen, Halo will work with you for the best possible outcome.

Brought my BMW 328i from these guys a little while back and the experience was so good, easy, straightforward with no bs that I decided to use them to service it. Once Sam and Darren realised that a part was unavailable for it and knowing how badly I needed to take my family away for the weekend, Darren pulled a BMW 420i of the sales lot and lent it to me until the spare for mine arrived. This has the potential for the business to lose a sale as the car was no longer on the lot to be sold. I have so much gratitude towards Sam and Darren for going above and beyond with their customer service. If I could give more than 5 stars, I would.

I was having some issues with my Jeep’s suspension and was referred here- Wally was friendly, efficient, thorough and honest, explaining everything to me during a drive and showing me the problems while the car was on the hoist. Everything made perfect sense and it was a relief that my car doesn’t need a blanket “replace every part” fix, Wally provided a break down of the problems and honest recommendations with quotes. I’ve never had a mechanic experience like this and I’ve been to a lot of mechanics over the years! I really appreciate your service and look forward to having my car repaired thank you so much

Massive thanks to Jacob and his team at Halo Motors for helping me purchase a beautiful car for my daughter. From my initial phone call, right through to me picking it up literally 4 hrs later, my purchase was effortless and completely stress free. Jacob even gave me a bottle of bubbly to celebrate which is a first! They really are quite wonderful, they are very different to the usual car dealerships which is so refreshing. I will definitely be going back when I am in need of a new car. Needless to say, my daughter was absolutely overwhelmed and could not stop crying.

Bought a 2013 Lexus IS250 F sport out of here, after couple of days found few issues such as Headlight washers not working Left side mirror not functioning properly Rear sensors working intermittently Interior clean not 100% upon delivery. Nevertheless, called up Halo workshop and wally quickly booked me in and fixed the issues within 2 days under the DEALERSHIP WARRANTY. I was given a Ford Focus RS (rocketship of a car) as the loan car free of charge. In conclusion 100% satisfied with the customer care experience , thank you to Wally, Ed and the team.

Friendly staff from beginning to end. Brilliant range of vehicles. Superbly presented vehicles. I really spoilt myself by hiring one of their cars, and Halo spoilt me through their effortless process. One thing I regretted was not having the experience to get the most out of the Audi A3 S series convertible which in no way reflects on Halo. Don't get your car serviced by Halo Motors at Albion. They give you a loan car which is unsafe, throwing error messages at you, like coolant needed and check tyre pressure which on a rainy day is very troublesome. I tried to ring them three times when I left the service department in this car and they never called me back. Then when picking up my car from being serviced it has damage to the paintwork. I have emailed and phoned and once again crickets. That was a week ago and still waiting.

I was very glad buying a car from here. One month later An error appear in the engine. As soon as I told them about the issue they replied me that the warranty is expired because the warranty is only one month. I went to mechanic 3 times so far. Right now the car is just a cost for me and waste of time. I am very regretful to buy a car here. By the way I didn't use the car in first month probably they sold this car with this problem. They already knew this and sold it to me that way.

Avoid! Avoid! Avoid! Brought a car 6 months ago and it’s broken down 3 x times now. Called the company and they blamed “wear and tear” although I’ve only driven the car 8,000 km. This car has spent more time off the road than on the road since I purchased it for $15,000. Halo are ignoring my called and request to provided an email address as I need to lodge a complaint with consumer affairs. Avoid this dealership as they sell dodgy cars and blame it on “wear and tear”.

My son purchased a vehicle from here. Before signing anything and accepting the vehicle we noted the stereo wasn’t working. We were promised this would be resolved and that “they would look after it”. A year later and it still isn’t done and they no longer return my calls. The car had other issues ($4000 spent on wiring) paid for by us, the least these guys could do is what they promised. Disappointing!!!!!!!

I bought from interstate and the Audi A6 Allroad I bought was superbly presented upon arrival. Everything was easy for the transaction and Halo’s finance team was the best I’ve ever dealt with. Car had a couple of issues on closer inspection when I got back home after flying to Brisbane to pick up. Nothing major but Darren made fixing these as easy as possible. Dodgy as ever. Had some required repairs agreed on in the sale contract prior to taking delivery of an Audi. More than a year later I am still waiting and they do not return calls. Just make sure they honour their word in the sale contract folks. It's been a year and I'm still waiting on these jokers to honour the deal. We bought a second hand Audi TT from Kaleb at Halo motors. When it went for it's pre-sale mechanical check they found a slight problem with the windscreen. This could easily have been overlooked but they replaced the windscreen for us. The car was immaculately presented and Kaleb was friendly, responsive and helpful. We're very happy with our Audi.

Worst experience ever with my son buying a car , broke down on way home, got towed back the next day totally unroadworthy vehicle with a list of things wrong with it, definitely not the halo experience , more like burning ring of fire. The sales person was unprofessional, cocky, had a careless attitude, did not listen to what I was saying and was intent on trying to sell me something I didn't want.
