My first born was here. My wife had vasa previea, so it had to be a C section. I want to give my extreme thank you to Doc. Windsor and the other teams that helped me, my wife and son have the best experience in a hospital i have ever had. This place should be ranked First in all the world for its staff and services. I wish we didnt have to leave but there are more in critical need of this place. Thank you for all that you guys have given us. EDITed Review: Since my kids have been a lot has changed, sadly the combination of funds, changes to healthcare and hospital management, quality has gone down significantly, however this hospital still remains as a top notch L&D building even with lack in resources. Second Edit: With everything going on in the world and cuts to resources, this hospital still shows to have some of the best staff in all of Canada. Every time, recently frequent having to visit, they show how incredible they are.

Was seen by Dr. Desa, very friendly, however poor treatment. Was diagnosed with a laberal hip tear he recommended physiotherapy which didn't work at all then recommended prp injections that I now know were useless. Only relieved pain for about 3 months and cost me 600 out of pocket as no insurance covers these Injections. Was suppose to have a 5 week follow up and never did. I called twice and both times was told they would call me which they never did . Now seeing a different surgeon and on my first appointment was told that I need surgery and should have had surgery right away since it's the only real way to fix a laberal tear Considering I'm young and healthy I'm a great candidate . Got me in for surgery in a month! Wish i would have avoided this waste of time! Very disappointed in the whole execution of my so called treatment plan .

Canada medical service is worst of the worst in the world. I have waited for 5 hr. after registration at ER to see the doctor and they charged me CD750 for emergent medical consultation fee afterwards .I am a medical doctor in Taiwan and was a visiting tourist attending seminars in Canada.I really pity those local Canadian resident having such a terrible medical service whilst nothing can be done by the government. It seems that utilizing emergent medical service is not encouraging by general public even if they really need the service badly at any moment! Excuse me ,Canada medical council!

I had a very bad experience with them. I fell down twice last week my last fall was on the 27th April and taken to the E R and got the treatment and the doctor suggested that i go this clinic and he said they will call you in 78 hours or something like that. But i never heard from them , so i called them yesterday May 4th and left a message. When i was taking a shower a nurse from the office called and left a message saying they won't be seeing me. It took them almost a week to tell me that. In my opinion they should get - 10 * .

I know that sometimes we do not stop and thank the staff at our local hospitals enough but hats off to the day surgery at McMaster hospital for their prompt service from the time of my arrival to my discharge. All of the staff in this area were kind and watching the way they treated the patients with such care and professionalism made my experience A-1. Thanks to my Doctor and everyone who helped with me to make the surgery experience go well. Never take our health care for granted we truly are blessed.

Hamilton Health Sciences saved my life. After contracting Flesh Eating Disease of the groin, The burn unit nursed me back to health. (Fantastic Team). Three times a year for 11 years, I have attended the Michael G. DeGroote Pain management Clinic. Now located at the McMaster site. Has continued to provide me with the best possible care. Thank you.

First time as a patient this year. All the rooms have been clean. Very well-mannered, professional staff. All in all, really great quality care. My only issue is I had to wait almost 5 months for a procedure because the pandemic has swamped the system. I just hope I do not have to wait a really long time in the future if I am actually unwell.

I don’t know what happened on a particular day when I was addressed by a Nurse 4th floor Pediactric care who I thought didn’t handle my inquiry very well so I thought she was rude. However, I’ve since been in many more times & have been greeted warmly by all nursing staff. Maybe was just an off day. Visiting with grandson in care.

I have surgery coming up and called the extension number to ask some questions about the appointment and the lady that picked up was very rude. She never answered my question directly and kept trying to put it off to other people and at the end, she just said "Oh my god" and hung up on me. The rest of the people are nice though.

Bad service, the amount of money they suck and the treatment they give is worst then 3rd world country's hospital. The waiting time is rediculous. The staff has no clue how to priortize patients. Canadian health care system is going in toilet. I want my tax money back which goes towards health care system.

Clean building, great location for educational programs for kids. Facility offers an array of resources including tech/ IT, lecture halls and auditoriums, has a Williams Cafe open during the weekdays. Close to bus route. Flexible masking policy but protection is recommended based on signage.

The staff here is phenomenal, with the exception of one woman in the cafe who has treated other patients rudely in front of me a couple times. I spent a lot of time in this hospital and it is easy to get around and is a very nice atmosphere.

I went for a chest CT scan recently for a cancer diagnosis follow up. Staff was great, but the scan was somewhat inadequate because the automated voice that tells you when to inhale and exhale at the appropriate times was inaudible.

Attended a specialist appt today.. Doctor came in the room at my appt time!! On time.. Woohoo.. Screening went quick.. Felt safe n staff were great.. Needed bloodwork after.. Got right in.. Amazing!! Was a good day..

Two seats in a hallway with 9 people doesn't make for much of a waiting room. Staff are great, but this seems fixable and necessary as I watch people with mobility and other issues who could be more comfortable.

Very poor signage, especially in underground parking. My appointment was at 9.15 am, they give . me a 15 page exhaustive which takes 30 mins to fill they could have given the same by email to fill for us to

I've been sent there a number of times for pre-ops and a variety of tests. Parking there is a unique kind of nightmare. However, the staff is professional and friendlier than at Hamilton's other hospitals.

I find the medical staff here very knowledgeable, up-to-date in their research and helpful. The professionals I see there are generally on-time for appointments.

Still here and my little guy is getting better andstrongrr everyday...thanks mcmaster sciences hospital for sick babies..you guys are totally awesome
