This is a park that is probably a 1/4 of a city block long. It's located between W. Peachtree and Peachtree Street right off of Baker Street. There's a lot of trees and greenery to give the park ambiance and is relatively clean. You will find places to sit when you need to take a break while walking in downtown Atlanta. It's also the pickup point for commuters making their way home after a day of work. Also, you will find it relatively busy beginning around 3 pm weekdays. It's also a hangout spot for the homeless who mostly stay to themselves and are looking for a quiet respite until the cops or our so-called Atlanta Ambassadors scare them away because our city prefers to keep our homeless invisible.
It's the people for me. ❤❤ Gods people that he created. What makes you think your not one paycheck away from being homeless or did you all forget about Covid. Rather than comment in distaste toward Gods children who don't have a home YET, how about u soften your heart and be of service, or are your commenting fingers to busy for that. Love GOD and he will transform your heart.
I've been in Atlanta my whole life and never knew about this park until I started riding the bus last week. It's a nice, quiet little park that's hidden in plain site. There are a lot of homeless people lounging around there, but they're harmless. My motto is live and let live.
A discreet little inner city hide a way. Nice canopy of trees & well tended planters of color. Its proximity to shelters & kitchens make it a gathering place for homeless folk but Mostly they are glad to have a calm shady spot to sit a while.
A nice respite in downtown Atlanta. A place to stop and be mindful in spite of the hurly burly on Peachtree Street going south past Peachtree Center, Five Points and the City Jail!
Hardy Ivy is said to be the first person of European descent to permanently settle in what is now the city of Atlanta, GA
The monument looks amazing! (But there are a lot of drunk homeless people around, the surroundings smell like urine)
It seems like a pretty nice park but there’s a bunch of homeless people here. I can’t even let my kid play around.
A mini park near to peachtree station. This park needs some maintenance. Cleanliness can be improved.
A pleasant park to enjoy while waiting on an xPressGA commuter bus!
There for Dragon Con and it's a great place to see cool cosplay.
Not the area to be oblivious but it is really cool
I Love to sit here and watch the People go By.
Could be a good location. too many beggars
I wouldn't recommend hanging out here.
Premium outdoor photography location
