Worst customer service I have ever seen in my life !!! Was in Friday and the cashier was rude to not 1 but two people ahead of me the first one was an older lady asking about a toasted and the tone the cashier used was unacceptable .... the second was a younger girl asking if they had something In stock the cashier said “ I dunno ... go look in the centre “really snotty the girl said there is none you never have anything in the flyers and the cashier started freaking out and he tone was disgraceful... the girl said she didn’t have to speak to her in that manner .... she become confrontational and when asked for the manager she said ok sure I don’t care fine talk to him. .... now one would think that wAs bad enough however it gets worse another older worker stood there consoling Sabrina the cashier as she was called telling her it was “ok it will be fine “ once the manager came out the cashier continue to interject into the convo as well as the other person who was uninvolved . Highly unprofessional !!! As the lady walked away the cashier screamed at the manager see she was right here she seen it .....: I was in shock at the display and will never shop here again and I hope neither of the two women do as well. This store is not only a joke but completely unprofessional and they allow their staff to speak to you however they feel with no consequences ! Their staff is 9/10 times rude and have a terrible attitude and tone when speaking to you ..... it’s sad to see when so many people are seeking jobs that they would keep such ignorant people as the face of the store ! ..... I only wish I could rate u zero!

This is a small time store, trying to compete with medium sized stores and failing miserably. I'm not sure if all Hart stores are run this incompetently, or just this one. I ordered a mattress and left a deposit on June 10th. I was told it would arrive between one to two weeks. After waiting two weeks I inquired how long it would be for it to arrive. The manager who didn't seem to care, stated he didn't know. Why did he not know, was he that incompetent that he couldn't find out. That seemed like a reasonable request to me. He claimed that they had a hundred stores, as if that should be a sufficient answer. It wasn't, but that was all I was going to get as somehow I was being unreasonable for asking. What a smug answer from somebody who hasn't mastered intercommunications between his store and the warehouse. It arrived on the 29th on the long weekend no less. Hart is a good store to pick up a toaster or something simple, but if it gets a little complicated, then it could get ugly. That's my rant, I feel better now. I should note that the rest of the staff were very friendly and helpful. This disatisfaction had nothing to do with them, so I have awarded a second star (from one) to reflect that.

This store is very untidy and the staff is absolutely rude. I bought some items a few months back, when I got home to try them on the clothes had been manufactured wrong. It was something to do with the stiching, which made it impossible to get the clothes on. I tried to go back to the store just to exchange them and the manager told me I was unable to do so. Basically I was left to take the hit because the product they sold was defective. Very poor costumer service if you ask me. I will never shop there again.

Poor customer service, I live far away and came all the way to purchase something from this new location because I used to shop at the Hamilton city centre location. The former sales people were better! I came to the till at closing to pay for my items and she refused to ring me out saying the till was closed. Wouldn’t be surprised if it’s because I’m black lol. Her body language was also not good, definitely wouldn’t be shopping here again.

You need one of those miner lights for your head to walk around and look at the merchandise. The ceiling is black and not all the light fixtures are turned on. This also makes it difficult to tell if the store is even open. There is free parking behind the building off a side street. There isn't a sign to indicate that there is a parking lot. There are some decent buys if you are prepared to hunt for them and you bring a flashlight.

My daughter lives one hour away from this store. When she got home she discovered her son had left his Teddy Bear in the store. She called and asked if they could check for her. Cashier said no she could not leave her till and didn't even offer to get someone else to look. Daughter had to drive back to the store. She found it there. Customer service is suppose to go on and above. Not happening at Harts.

Great deals on clothes. But i have had to return everything else i bought from there. They mixed up the mattresses i bought and gave me a cheaper one. They have no delivery service so its all on you. Bought a fan that didn't turn on. A christmas tree missing a stand. A shelf missing all its wooden dowell pegs. They refunded everything of course but i have gambled and lost too many times here.

The staff was really fun to be around and just easy to get along with. We asked to be subscribed by email when we were leaving during our check out. The people who were working the front we're so taken back. It was one of the funniest moments we had while being in the Steel City. Harts inventory is really cool, lots of things to choose from to upgrade aesthetics.

I went into Hart today to browse the clothing. I found some adorable childrens place shorts for my daughter that were only $6! I also saw some adorable shirts that were a great price. They have an amazing clothing selection here for great prices! Will definitely be back soon to pick up a dress that I saw today! Great store!

Many good and varied options for home improvement and decorating are there, also they have good choices in clothes for all family number, I recommend this place for shopping and spend time with your family. the good idea here that they accept return or exchange, l always follow their sales and special offers.

Very easy-going store... The staff are awesome and super nice... They don't mind holding things there when you pay for them until you're able to pick them up... That is a bonus... Another bonus is they'll help you bring your purchases to the street... Can't think of anything to complain about.

Nice staff and very large store they have inside the jackson square. They Have everything that u need from kitchen to bathroom and from bedroom to backyard. I recently buy my dinning table from them and they delivered it to me for 40 dollar. Awsome

It's a rip off. The store is like a large ghetto Bi-way. They ever price everything. Cheap sofas, shyt clothing, no name food etc etc. I've stopped going here as the store is not maintained and 50% of the ceiling lights don't work. Stay away.

Recently moved to its new location practically on the corner of Barton/Kenilworth Streets. Great selection of affordable clothing, shoes, household furniture, kitchen supplies etc. A department store. Can pickup online orders here too.

I get some of my chips here. They have one of the brands I like (Yum Yum: ... The Sweet Chedder flavor). They also have a decent Cheesy & Onion Ring one too. Good staff here .. not bad prices .. good selection of varying items as well.

Nice store, friendly employees who were open to talking about the upcoming demolition of the mall. Very nostalgic store considering it will most likely be gone next year. Some items were marked down for clearance some were full price.

I love the Harts store at Jackson Square Mall in Hamilton Ontario. The store is a good size, has great prices and also have great sales, and this location is very clean, the workers are friendly and very helpful. I love it …

No complaints about store but they charged me $6.99 for a large plastic bag. They are allowed to charge what they want but they should let customers know that a shopping bag will cost more than what they are purchasing.

Total junk. Unless you’re into cheaply made things from China, I still say avoid this place. It’s over-priced for the junk they sell. You’re better off making the drive to Dixie Mall, better prices and value.

Good but their was a 2 pack of baby crib sheets open with a small stain so I asked for a discount, cus I cood spray and wash and the lady ripped it from my hands and said I'll repackage it . B. I. T. C.....

The staff was helpful and positive. They have a good variety of products for a medium size store . The clothing prices are good. Remember to go a month before Christmas. They have the popular toys first.

Nice place, I hope they stay downtown after the center closes. If your looking for top of the line stuff, probably not for you but do have some quality stuff there and a friendly staff

Staff are always helpful and so nice. They go above and beyond to help their customers and by doing so ensure future business. My 2 younger kids love going in there to see the staff

Be prepared to wait in line to cash out for awhile. They have the slowest cashier's in Hamilton. Everything is also now overpriced, not cheaper.

Hart is gross. I find everything to be of really low quality but very high prices. The clothes and shoes are very ugly and the staff is rude.

You generally cannot see everything at Hart in one visit. There's a lot of variety, so it's good to go back and shop from to time.
