The pub has changed hands again (new owners ) they are only letting in over 21's which I think is a good idea - there has been some trouble in the past - But it is a (can be a nice pub ) with the right people - they have pool table & darts there if u wish to play & outdoor area in the garden to smoke & a car park for your car

Went here Saturday for lunch and to watch the football, food was good. (Mexican burger and lasagne). Amazing chips and garlic bread. Good selection of beers nice friendly staff. Pukka pub all round. Update 15/12/17 has this pub changed hands? Now full of coke sniffers and rude staff, what a shame.

I never usually write a trip advisor or a review but I absoulety enjoyed myself tonight with myself and my mates had a brilliant night I was made welcome from the time I got there till I finished I recommend this pub to anyone thank you to the gm and the bar staff.

A dirty dive with a rude ignorant land lady. They watch you drink and do not make new customers feel welcome at all . No cheering allowed during football matches too. Absolutely shocking. Also discriminated against us by asking us for ID

Good pub, just short walking distance from YMCA. Clean toilets which is a rare find in pubs. Plenty TV screens for sports. Will definetelly get back again when I am next in Romford.

Great pub but for some reason does not allow under 25's? I'm pretty sure you just need to be 18 to enter a pub but my friend who had ID and was 20 was told to leave.
