Found this salon on Google maps and walked in on a Friday afternoon to see if they could do permanent hair straightening. They kindly accommodated me. The manager explained in English about the process, price and cost. For my hair length that's just below my shoulders, it's 250,000KRW which included a wash and a trim. They used L'oreal products and said the effects will last for a year. Happy with that, would've paid more back home but without the level of service nor the l'oreal products. Refreshments and snacks were served and the manager checked in from time to time. He was even gracious enough to get me some cold medicine when I said I caught a cold. The head stylist did a fantastic job together with 2 others. They were attentive and professional. My dry frizzy hair was somewhat of a nightmare to straighten so my utmost gratitude to all the ladies and their persistence! The whole process finished on time, exactly 3 hours like they said, and I walked out with a korean style blowout and feeling rejuvenated, thanks to a bonus head and shoulder massage by the head stylist. It was much needed and well appreciated! Highly recommend this place to other foreigners. Walking distance to Myeongdong night market area. Best to make a booking first as they're quite busy even on weekdays.

Headline salon was great! Service: The manager was very friendly and welcoming. He can even speak conversational English and Chinese! I was offered drinks (water, tea, etc) and got a nice, gentle hair wash by the manager himself. Then I showed a picture of what I wanted to the barber/hair stylist and she did a great job of cutting my hair and blow dried/styled it just the way I wanted! They even gave some small snacks during the haircut. The manager also gave me good recommendations to find a nice cafe nearby and also where to go clothing/shoe shopping for good prices. Price: 25,000 won for a hair wash, cut, and a little bit of styling! Definitely a great price. Location: Located inside a large business building on the 7th floor. Cleanliness: Very clean and tidy with a nice & bright interior design. Additional note: I was a walk-in customer on a Tuesday around 4:20 pm. They were almost fully booked that day and I got lucky because they had one spot left, so I recommend reserving an appointment in advance. Overall I would highly recommend this place to everyone - whether a local or foreigner :)

I was looking for a salon that was open early since I had to catch a flight later in the day. I found that this place opened at 9.30 which was the earliest I saw in the area and it had a 5 star rating. I actually arrived at 9.15 and they already let me in. I came in with an idea to cut and color but didn't really have any more specifics than that. I appreciated that they took the time to give me advice, both the manager and the stylist. It was great that he could speak in english too although I was pretty ready to let a local stylist have their way. They had amazing service and amenities. They had a locker to put my stuff and I got coffee and a red bean bun as well. They even had phone chargers available should one need a boost while having their hair done. For a cut, color and treatment, I paid 120,000 krw which was a pretty good price compared to what I would have paid back home. I highly recommend this place, and I will definitely be coming back next time I visit, and will aim to do it the first day next time!

Could not recommend this salon enough. I messaged in the morning they responded within the hour, and really accommodating to my request! I had regrowth straightening perm done and hydrating treatment and they were super quick and friendly. All 3 of the hairdressers even jumped in to help after knowing that I had a limited time with somewhere to be. The owner speaks good english with quite bubbly disposition, and the senior hairdresser knows her stuff with 20+years of experience. Result is amazing and price is definitely a lot fairer than back home in Australia. Don’t hesitate to give them a visit and you’ll have a wonderful experience getting your hair done with an amazing team and a view of Seoul out the window!

Excellent and attentive (without being intrusive) service from the team. Manager Park served as English translator, explaining to the hairstylists (referred to as hair designers) what you want, and relaying any feedback/information from them (e.g. their recommendations). We were a mother-daughter duo (plus little granddaughter who tagged along) and they made sure we had tea and some snacks too during our time (and specifically procured a little table for granddaughter to do some artwork while she waited). A cut (with wash and blow out) was 25,000 krw and a colour+cut (with special products to treat dry hair) was 150,000 krw - very well priced! Highly recommend!

Headline salon provided a mindblowing experience for us! I had the most wonderful experience at the Salon. The owner is extremely friendly and would go above and beyond to make sure we are happy. He even recommended restaurants near by and gave me a little gift. He spoke good level of English so this is amazing for tourists like me. The price is very reasonable, I paid 25,000 won for my hair cut and I am very impressed. The team are all incredibly friendly and they did exactly what I wanted. I highly recommend this salon and will definitely come back here.

We chanced upon Headline as we were looking for a place near our hotel. Hospitality was excellent - the manager patiently translated and facilitated the conversation between us and our stylists, and made sure we were comfortable the whole time we were there. He even brought us to the bus stop so we could take the bus to Seoul station! The hairstylists were very confident and capable as well and we loved our new looks. We hope to be back again the next time we’re in Seoul!

1st time visit, found online by chance when searching for salon near me. Very pleasant experience, everyone in the shop was very friendly and helpful. Boss (?) can speak English and Mandarin well. Most importantly, the pricing is reasonable and no hidden cost. This salon is a hidden gem, I will definitely visit again and tell my friends and relatives about the great experience I had here.

Excellent hair salon with first-class service that comes with a reasonable price tag compared to what they provide. I’ve been to this salon more than 4 times when I visit Seoul and their designers are attentive and very skilled. Highly recommended for those of you who stay in Myeongdong. It is worth walking down for few minutes to a place approved by locals!

The salon is on 7th floor of a building located in central area of Myeongdong. as shown in the photo. Environment is very pleasant. We got served snack and drinks with nice service. Just spontaneously decided to get a haircut during my stay in Seoul. My Korean girlfriend tagged along but they even communicated a bit in English and they kindly engaged with me and my limited Korean abilities. Great service and kind staff. If you're in the city it's definitely a solid choice!
