I decided to try this service because my friend Jon recommended it and has lost weight using it. I'm you're typical 30 year old working mom. Point blank, I don't have a lot of time to prepare my own meals. I usually end up eating whatever leftovers we had from dinner last night, or ordering out which can get pretty expensive. The price of these meals is cheaper than doing Cluster Truck or Door Dash while also being a lot healthier. Ordering went off without a hitch. I placed my order around 9am on a Monday morning. I went into the store around 11am and they already had my order ready to be picked up. One thing I was very pleased with is how well the meals reheat. A lot "frozen dinner" type meals get really soggy, watery, etc. But these meals reheat just like they were freshly made. So far I've had the dijon chicken (amazing!) and pesto chicken (pretty good but I added hot sauce :) ) Next time I'm going to pick up 2 weeks of lunches instead of 1 because they keep well in the freezer for a long time. I misread the "best by" date on one of my meals and emailed their customer service. He gently corrected me within a few hours of my email, I thought that was pretty cool that he got back to me so quickly. I'm interested to see how the fish is, I plan on trying BBQ salmon and cod burger next time. Overall this seems way more economical and healthy than what I've been doing so I'm glad I gave this a try! I will of course update my review if anything changes. :)

Based on the first 6 meals I've tried: Mind blowing. This food is GOOD. I was nervous about frozen stuff microwaving and being tasty and fresh but this is just plain DELICIOUS food and wouldn't even think that it was reheated. It doesn't taste "healthy" and certainly not bland. The way they've made flavor magic with these macros is a work of art. I am fortunate to live 15 minutes from the kitchen so I did in person pickup. The store itself is immaculately clean and organized. There was only one person working there when I arrived and she was stocking the in-store case but immediately greeted me, offered assistance, and was wearing a mask even while no one was in store. I was very impressed. Pickup of my order was smooth and I grabbed for a few additional items. They have a good, modern POS which accepted ApplePay. It was a breeze to get in and out. Do NOT let the pricing deter you. The ease, flavor, overall experience make this 100% worth it and convinced my partner (picky eater) to also want to start getting meals here on his own. Recommendations: Pulled Pork Mac & Cheese, Buffalo Chicken Mac & Cheese, Fajita Chicken, Sweet Potato Totchos, My only Feedback: Was a little difficult to figure out the rewards vs account online activation side of things. Like making sure I was signed into rewards and then creating an account on site too but they linked. Was a bit funky but could've just been the order I did things. Got it all worked out though.

Don't bother with their "next day delivery". I'll update the review if I ever get my order that was placed 2 days ago. Called the store and they said it's packed and should be out to me today so even they don't believe the next day promise. UPDATE: They did not deliver the day I was told it was packed and ready to go. However, they gave me a partial refund and delivered the order the next day. After actually having a couple of the meals, I have to raise my review to 3 stars because they are quite good. I typically go the easy route and don't eat very healthy and this seems to be a way better alternative. I've got several more meals to try and am actually going to give them another chance with the next day delivery to see how this goes. Maybe it was a one time issue. I'll update the review accordingly if so. FINAL UPDATE: No issues on 2 orders since. Each order was received the next day and the food is pretty damn good. I even created an account on the site since I plan to continue ordering.

Stopped in to check it out and the guys working were very helpful and friendly. My husband and I each had a frozen prepared meal and we were both extremely pleased with the food. The meat was a tad dry but really good. If you want you could add your own sauce but that defeats the purpose of a low sodium, low sugar meal :). Not cheap but when you consider restaurant prices, those meal delivery kits like Hello Fresh that you still have to prep and cook everything, and the lack of quality and nutrition in cheap frozen meals, these items are definitely a good value. We're not super close to the store so we'll have to stock up next time we're in. Lots of good options for a variety of tastes!

I have eaten these meals 5 times a week for the last 18 months and they never disappoint. I have tried several different meal options that herculean offers and the consistency of taste and quality is mind boggling. If you go out for lunch everyday you NEED to give this company a shot. Their meals are on par (most of the time better) than meals you get from the likes of Qdoba, Jimmy John's, chick FIL a, etc. Their rewards system is awesome and I always speak to a real human when I call and they are always extremely helpful. The ordering is very easy. The delivery is very quick and easy and the packaging is great. Do yourself a favor and try out a 28 meal plan from herculean.

I’ve been using Herculean for just over 2 years now. Honestly overall, the food is good and the customer service is always great, I think their flavors are on point and they’re consistently trying new things to keep customers engaged and satisfied. However, I’ve noticed that every once in awhile there’s a meal packaged that’s just a miss, examples being very gristle forward meat or as I found today when I heated up the New Orleans Jambalaya, containing only 2 pieces of shrimp and one thin slice of kielbasa. Again, I think they provide a great service with good food but I do think that more attention to what’s being packaged would be great overall.

I’ve been going to Herculean since August 2018 and have had such a great experience with every pickup! The meals are the perfect size and great for customizing your own seasoning once you get them to your house! I’ve turned so many people on to them because their menu is so much bigger than other meal prep stores! I love the healthy snacks they have and love the way I feel after eating their meals! If you’re looking for a way to save time and money (because let’s be real, most people don’t even end up eating all the meals they prep on their own) I HIGHLY recommend Herculean!

I actually met one of the proprietors working the register. I already love the product but the conversation educated me even more on what actually goes into what I buy. These meals have a shelf life of one year. No other meal prep franchise has that!!!! I will be buying a lot more bulk, get more bang for my buck!! Btw, I drive dump trucks so what I eat is important and the convenience is just as important as what I eat!! I recommend this to any and everyone! Not to mention I haven’t had any meals that were not delicious; they need no seasoning!!!!

Give them a try. During the pandemic I tried a few firms like this with "OK" results. I ordered a box of 14 meals from Herculean (7 varieties). I've tried 5 and my ratings are 7, 8, 8, 8 and 9 on a 10 scale. The smashburger was my favorite. The ingredients are fresh. Prep is simple. Portions are generous. Taste is always better than regular frozen or fast food options or Kroger prepared meals. It's not quite as good having a $12 entree for lunch at a local restaurant, but it's pretty close.

I started buying Herculean meals around a month ago, all the meals are really good, because my schedule is so hectic these meals fit into my schedule. I am losing weight and am eating great food and so it doesn't feel like I am even dieting. I am just eating healthy. The gentleman at the Bottleworks store is always helpful and has a great upbeat, positive attitude. Keep making great meals. Thanks Again!!!

The meals are decent when heated for just the right amount of time and trust me- each meal doesn't need the same amount of heating. Meals are fully cooked so just need heated through. Their local delivery service is hit or miss. Hopefully I can update this review in the future. Save your money or drive to pick them up. Would reccomend trying during a sale or get a Groupon before going all in.

As a company we couldn't be more pleased with the meals we have received from HercuLean. They are seriously ALL delicious! Our members at the gym LOVE them - we can hardly keep our freezer full! Whenever we place a new order - the delivery is at the gym SO FAST (We are 2 hours north of Indianapolis, too)! You can't beat their great customer service. Ace Fitness loves HercuLean!!

The meals are phenomenal! You truly can’t ask for any better in customer service. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable about their products. Both the Dijon chicken and pulled pork meals are my personal favorites, not to mention the protein doughnuts! They also have the inbody machine for body fat analysis for customers to use. Overall, a spectacular meal prep company!

Great taste and portions. These meals are packed with protein but balanced. All my favorites have sweet potatoes. Tried the breakfast as well, it was very robust. The meals are priced just right. It allows conveniently balanced meals instead of unhealthy fast food. My fifteen year old loves them! It takes about 4 minutes to warm up. The meal plans are perfect for my budget.

Tried A few meals from Herculean one day, and have never looked back. They are DELICIOUS, healthy, reasonably priced, and easy to track the macros. Meals only take 4 min. In the microwave to make, and has made lunch at work so easy and convenient, and often times i work late too, so dinner is also easy and quick when i get Home. Its been a life saver honestly.

First time trying HercuLean and I've been very happy with the meals. It was well worth the price and the portions are perfect. I was surprised how full I felt after eating one meal. The food always tastes extremely fresh, even when I got down to my last one. Will definitely be a return customer and highly suggest to anyone trying to eat better on a budget.

Me and my German Shepherd have been visiting the store for a couple years now. The meals are varied, delicious, reasonably priced and perfect for our 40/40/20 lifestyle. My breakfast goto is the Turkey Chili; I put an egg over-easy on the top. Delicious! The happy faces at the front desk are an extra bonus...

The owners are super friendly. Excellent array of options. Meals are delicious and filling, unlike any other frozen meal. Relieves the stress and time of having to worry about meal prepping office lunches, is more affordable, and much healthier than eating out. Game changer!

Just purchased some of their meals and the taste is top notch. First tried the "Totchos". Highly recommended. Also bought a low carb Tuxedo brownie. Everything this far is excellent. I work from home and these meals save time and help me stay on track with healthy eating.

So glad I found this place right around the corner. I think they're delicious and supply the right amount of macros for my needs. I do wish they had some more high protein options but nonetheless just being able to order and pick up in minutes is just too awesome.

I have tried every meal prep service in Indy, and Herculean puts them all to shame! Their menu has evolved over the years, and there isn’t an item on it that I don’t love. The pulled pork Mac and cheese is honestly one of my favorite things to eat!

Great selection of meals all fitting my calorie and macro needs. Reasonable price point, fast shipping and excellent customer service. The food is seasoned well and everything I’ve tried from them tastes great. Give them a try, you won’t regret it.

I contacted the company because my delivery was delayed due to a blizzard in North Dakota. I asked if my order was no longer frozen, would they send a new order out. No questions asked, a new order was placed almost immediately. So impressed.

My goodness. I’ve not had a bad meal yet. Granted this is my first week with them, I’ve had five different meals and all of them have been very tasty, the perfect size and the macros are great! I definitely recommend if you’re in the area!!

I have been eating HMP for 3 years as part of daily meal plan. What I like most about HMP is their meals are tasty and delicious. Great variety and priced competitively. Most of all, support local business not the out of state competitors.

The food so far has been really good, I had 3 different meals and they all taste pretty good. I have tried one other frozen meal delivery service called Freshly and I think this food tastes better overall. I'll likely be ordering more.

portions have decreased since i found HMP about six months ago...and prices have increased by about $1 per meal. food quality is excellent, but disappointed when i open each meal the past few orders and see the smaller portions.

I love Herculean because it saves me from spending hours food prepping and also helps me eat healthy. I love their meals and even ones I didn’t think would be great (frozen eggs on their steak and eggs) are SO GOOD!

First tried HurcuLean by using a Groupon. Now I am a regular customer. The meals are delicious (especially the smoked pork with mac and cheese) and for a prepared meal the sodium content is reasonable.
