Will not be coming back. I dont think ive ever had such a bad experience before. I expected so much out of an Anime bar and i was let down so painfully hard. First off the music selection was too loud n didnt match the atmosphere. It was a basic bar with anime stuff added n 3 games. The worst thing was the drink selections. They had to few options that were all basic and overpriced. You pay extra for names on these basic drinks. And i mean basic basic stuff nothing really asian or anime inspired besides the names. And dont get me started on the food or should i say ridiculously priced RAMEN CUPS! you can buy 12 of them for 4$ at most stores but 1 basic tiny cup of ramen is 4$ on its own. Most i would be willing to pay is 1$ for the basic hot water to be poured in. & thats all the food, nothing else is available. The anime they had was from Netflix. I love Netflix but thats like going to Dennys for a T-bone steak. Like really guys at least pick up a good streaming service on that Playstation. And obviously no volume because the music took all the volume n cranked it up to where you cant really hear anyone around you. However there are 2 things they could NOT control. No parking/very limited parking (downtown so to be expected) & loud patrons (its a bar so to be expected) so i wont judge them harshly on those 2. Also they start closing down at like midnight & not 4am as they advertise. Oh and im also upset that a bouncer didnt let a friend in because of an expired ID when the state has already ruled expired IDs will be extended & honored as still valid. But this bar says no the state cant tell them what to do. Seriously 0/5 stars if I could. Neither i nor any of my friends will ever be coming back to this bar.

I'v been here twice on a Wednesday because of my friends, which also happens to be there better night's if you like hip-hop & r&b but recently I went late about 11pm as usual and there was a line a normal but no one was barely inside or on the patio. I'v seen cobra packed through out the night, out to the patio with no problem on latin night's. This place has obviously got a stereo type towards one race (black people), especially on a night where you get to hear good music. I only gave it 1 star for the music. The location is small and wear your worst shoes because the floor is filled with drinks. I only write this because this is something I only noticed in a place like Scottsdale that's why I stopped going. but now starting to see downtown. If your looking for a place you will be accepted and still play great music I know much better establishments. If you want to enjoy security staff that judges you at the door especially the short white security guard with the long scruffy black and white beard who acts like it's his first day on the job. Well Hi-Score is your place. I hope to return and have different experience. Be better Hi-Score it's literally the name and I gave you a 1 star.

I liked the drinks and design and service was fast but overall did not enjoy the atmosphere. I don't think anyone that watches anime actually goes to this bar. I expected some bar food but all I saw was top ramen cups. The music is EXTREMELY loud. The other reviews are not joking. It's the loudest bar I've ever been to. Do not expect to be able to have a conversation at all here let alone be able to order a drink without screaming it three times to the bartender. It's kinda small for the amount of people they let in on a Friday night. Very little seating, expect to stand. I did enjoy one of the three Japanese arcade machines they had. I saw this place on TikTok and expected more from it. This is not the "anime bar" us weebs have been waiting for. Effectively cobra arcade 2.0 and nothing else.

Anime inspired bar. The anime named drinks are great and about your typical $10/$12 like any bar. Arcade games are available. Wednesday OnlyJams gets poppin starting at 9. I love the booth sections. Yes there is loud music, you’re coming to drink at a bar, not just to watch anime like you’re at home. Ran by Cobra Arcade management. A lot of people in the reviews upset that it’s not super “anime authentic” here. I’m really not sure what more they expected out of a bar. This is pretty much a bar that just so happens to be anime inspired. To a normie that’s not super into anime, it was great and good enough for me!

mann the IG hype was strong. Nah this is aint it. The dj doesn't know how to mix properly. Might as well be a spotify playlist...and the bartender, the one i delt with anyways had an attitude the WHOLE night. Like why are you giving me a face because yall ran out of a drink I ordered. Like im the problem. And the hot dog stand outside...no mames wey...garbage...Charlies Phoenix is 1,000,000,000 better venue than this.

Pending two star review solely based on the fact nothing was listed online. Saw a video about this spot and drove to it just to find out it was closed. They are open Wednesday-Sunday 7pm-4am. I will be going back this weekend and will of course come back to add another review. Also keep in mind they are also owned by the same people who run Cobra Arcade bar. Beyond excited to have my little anime dreams fulfilled!

Super cool place to hang out. It's a small & the drinks are great if not slightly expensive for some beverages. Staff was attentive and nice. Their Kawaii drink was cute and tasty! ( wish they would sell the cups though- it would make more sense of the price for the drink) Def would go again just to hang out with friends so we could show off this novelty bar for fun.

More like Lo-Score Club. I honestly don't care to write reviews like that, but holy hell this place was AWFUL. I've been to a lot of bars in the downtown area & this has got to be the worst bartender service imaginable for a Wednesday. I don't understand how the small bartender was being so damn mean to 5 ppl IN A ROW & we barely just got there.

Definitely coming back again! Got a booth with some friends and got to enjoy Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure on screen plus some rounds of Street Fighter. I definitely recommend eating first though, the only bar food was a few different types of ramen (was still satisfying honestly). Drinks were really well made and delicious, and anime aesthetics 10/10

I had no ideal on how to fix my thermostat and myself and my kids were freezing but Joel came and was friendly with my kids and also taught me about changing my filters as well as how to work my complicated thermostat this company is always 5 stars in my book and I recommend them to anyone very quick service turn around as well

Came here with a couple of friends in June. It's a lot of fun - Great music/dancing, drinks, and the environment is really cool with all of the anime pictures. Definitely will be coming back soon! Only downside is the Dance Floor is kind of small.

Had fun with friends despite not staying long, the cute server girl was awesome, showed her a video of a drink we wanted once and was able to make it everytime afterwards from memory, A+ right there

Solid place but get here early for a seat. Drinks were super sweet but served in cute glasses . The dj was good but played old school vs modern music . All and all worth a stop . Small dance floor .

Very cool spot. Love the wall are and the TV screens play anime. The music is amazing as well and a lot of talented local DJ’s come through. 10/10 would recommend.

Ben is the best bartender and has a dope memory. This place is great, security is amazing and on top of their game. Music is on point and the vibes are unmatched.

Then vibe here is special. I love that the games are free and the cocktail menu has some unique choices. This is definitely a fun bar to go on a date!
