I thought my dog Nala, a rhodesian ridgeback had broken her foot as she was in pain and drooling, pushing me to let me know her pain,panting hard and scaring me to death!!! after running in a park, Dr Geoff is so amazing, he figured it was bee stings very quickly, administered antihistamine and dexason, via injection, he helped me get my big vet shy girl through the door, and i just have such admiration for this man, he has seen me through some awful times with aged pets,injured pets, phantom pregnancies in our other female ridgeback.....Thank you Dr Geoff for professional,care done with sensitivity, your appreciated..

Dr Lee Coyne has been my vet for all of my dogs over the past 20 years. He is thorough, professional and cares about the animals he treats very much. He is very accurate with his diagnostics and course of action taken for all veterinary issues. He is also very good at involving the owners in the decisions made about their animals care and ongoing treatment. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this practice. Every single staff member is absolutely beautiful and so caring.

August 2022: a veterinary clinic isn't somewhere you or your pet wishes to visit often, however when you do require their services, you hope for a caring and knowledgeable environment. The team at the Hobart Animal Hospital have been looking after my pets for longer than I care to remember, and always offer brilliant caring service. The team love animals, and it is clear from the moment you step foot on the premises.

Absolutely amazing service and kindness displayed by everyone I spoke to - especially the senior nurse, who dealt with me so patiently and respectfully while I was worried sick for my guinea pigs. They helped me calm down while I was in a panic and I cannot thank them enough for their time and professionalism. Would absolutely recommend Macquarie Animal Hospital.

A huge thanks to the lovely ladies at Hobart Animal Hospital who squeezed us in after hours today for some vaccinations for our 2 dogs that had been overlooked when we were just about to take them to a boarding kennel. The staff were absolutely lovely and helpful and went over and above for us. Thank you!

Visited this Vet Practice last week with 2 of my cat's. Paid $200 just to be told they needed too see a Cat Therapist/Cat Whisperer I am thinking. I asked are they more expensive than this Vet and told Yes. Seriously I will never ever be going back here again. A total joke and just so disgusted

I went here with my friend to put her old dog to sleep. The vet was lovely and very kind. He explained everything really well and went through all options. After the hard decision Everyone was helpful with next steps of getting her baby home. I couldn't recommend a vet more.

Brought my puppy here for his very first puppy check-up and Dr Lee Coyne was very helpful and gentle to the puppy. He gave good information with regards to my puppy’s diet. Service from the other staff was also excellent. Recommended vet practice.

Took my bunny in because she was overdue in pregnancy. Handled her beautifully but was unable to help her. Day after appointment I noticed she had pinworms. Don’t know how vet did not pick it up. Excellent service otherwise

Calm and responsive vets. Trust that you know your pet and listen to your concerns. This is the only vet place when my dog doesn’t shake as soon as we are in the door. Also very reasonable price.
