The Hof Hotel is okay but seems overrated as a four star hotel (it's more like a 3 star at best). The bed is comfortable and the shower is good. You do have to step up to get into the shower, though, which my wife found difficult (and she slipped and got bruised). There are rooms without a balcony on the ground floor and there is an elevator to get to the other rooms, but to reach the breakfast room in the basement, you must go down a flight of stairs. The staff are courteous and efficient. The breakfast is also good. If you are not a cigarette smoker the terraces are more of a negative than a positive. The smoke from other guests comes into your room. Also one morning I was awakened early by the loud hacking coughs of a smoker on a neighboring terrace. The location of the hotel is right off of the main pedestrian street [Laisves Aleja], which is great for walking and has many dining choices. At 2.5 Km. it's a bit far from the train station. The Town Hall Square is 1.7 km. as is the Castle.

The location: surrounded by other buildings but in the very center of Kaunas (1 minute walk to Liberty Avenue). The room: we had a triple with a private entrance (#106). It is spacious and well equipted. It could be a good option for small family or friends group who want to explore Kaunas staying in a good location and have privacy + possibility to have some easy meals at the room. The breakfast: hotel does it best to serve variety of options in small space (underground). We all found very tasty morning meals for good start of the day. The parking: we got a space in front of the hotel but there are few slots on the other side. Don't expect a good view from your room as the hotel is facing other buildings around. P.S. We found full trash bin in our room which was a bit out of standards of any hotel.

Единственный минус-номер на первом этаже,окна отрываются полностью(не на проветривание),решёток нет. Во дворе автомобильная парковка. Окна низкие, то есть,,заходи кто хочешь"))) (Я не знаю,может в Каунасе с криминальной обстановкой всё настолько хорошо,что можно спать с открытыми дверями-окнами на первом этаже,но я не рискнула)))Воспользовалась кондиционером. Это единственное замечание . В остальном все прекрасно для Ваших четырех звёзд . Успеха Вам и процветания! Приедем ещё. Рекомендую

Jei kažka pamiršote t.y šukas, dantų šepetėli, dantų pastą, galite įsigyti registratūroje :) pusryčių pasirinkimas pakankamas (šalti užkandžiai, karštas maistas, kepiniai, kava, arbata, vanduo su citrina, sultys, pienas bei pienas be katozės) manau jog viešbutis labai plačiai pagalvoja kiekviena ryta apie galimus žmonių poreikius. Taip pat galima pasišildyti sumuštinius (kurie jau yra pagaminti) ar pasiskrudinti baltą duoną. Apsistojome tik nakčiai ir likome pusryčiams, tačiau likome maloniai nustebinti :) Personalas taip pat labai malonus.

Хороший, комфортний готель у центрі. Зручне ліжко, темні штори, нормальний напір води у ванній. Різноманітні і смачні сніданки. Зручне місцерозташування. Але проблема з парковкою - нема гарантії, що будуть місця. На рецепціі часто нікого нема і можна чекати 15-20 хвилин. Залюбки б повернувся.

Все понравилось. Отель в суперском месте - самом центре. Легко добраться до всех достопримечательностей пешком. Вокруг море кафе и магазин Рими. Номера свежие, с балконом. Администратор предоставила нам последнее место на парковке, на которой стояла ее же машина. Единственный минус это все же шумоизоляция и ручки на двери в ванную комнату очень скрипят.

Kambaryje nera saldytuvo, nei mineralinio vandens, Tokio viesbucio tikrai negaliu kam nors rekomenduoti, nei patys kada nors cia lankysimes.

Spacious room with balcony, nice modern bathroom (bath), spotless clean, perfectly cleaned room daily with all towels changed and etc. Generally attention to details around the hotel made a positive impression and a definite "cherry on the cake" and outstanding breakfast in very tastefully decorated breakfast area. Ein wirklich wunderbares Hotel. Sauber, ansprechend eingerichtet, freundliches Personal, das perfekt Englisch spricht, sehr bequemes Bett, nachts sehr ruhiges Ambiente innen und außen, reichhaltiges Frühstücksbuffet (kalte Speisen, warme Speisen, Süßspeisen, Joghurt, Kuchen, Pasteten, frische Säfte etc etc.) und das alles zu einem unschlagbaren Preis! Wenn ich wieder nach Kaunas komme, werde ich hier sehr gerne wieder übernachten. Es liegt ein bisschen versteckt in einem Hinterhof, das vielleicht nur am Rande für suchende Gäste.

Прекрасное место как для короткого отдыха, так и для более продолжительной остановки. Завтраки прекрасные. Особенно отмечу хороший заварной чай и прекрасную посуду и столовые приборы.

I like this hotel a lot! What you need in hotel? Good place? Here you are almost in old town, comfy bed and nice room interior - no problem, 4 stars Hot hotel will provide it - check photos. All in room is perfect - clean and made ergonomically. TV and WiFi working good to! Breakfast was testy and many different dishes are available. You will like it! In same street you can visit "Uoksas" - cool and tasty place for lunch or nice evening. And of course all Kaunas is yours!

Tolles Hotel mitten in der Stadt. Alles zu Fuß erreichbar. Zimmer war 1a. Sauber, groß und modern eingerichtet. Auch das Personal war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Frühstück war überragend, reichhaltig und frisch. O-Saft zum selber pressen, lange nicht gehabt. Der eine Stern Abzug ist lediglich wegen der Parkplätze. Die sind so eng und die Zufahrt so verwinkelte, dass es hier und da auch mal anecken kann. Alles in allem aber sehr zu empfehlen!

Уже не в первый раз останавливаемся в этой гостинице, апартаменты с двумя уютными комнатами на втором этаже, балкон, кухня, стиральная машинка (что очень удобно!). Выбор на завтраки небольшой, но всего достаточно. Может быть немного прохладно в ванной, но это не портит всего впечатления. Удобное расположение гостиницы. Внимательный и приятный персонал.

Central location, although the hotel itself is situated in a backyard of other buildings, so don't expect any great views (more like walls and a parking lot). The hotel states that the rooms are soundproof, which is not the case at all. On the plus side, the staff is very helpful and friendly, they also have a great breakfast selection. However, all things considered, I don't think I'd come back - there's not much in it, apart from the location.

Great customer service but breakfast experience was horrible, cheap frankfurter sausages and scrumble eggs that's it. End up going to eat in local restaurant. Served cold chicken nuggets probably from another day, dumplings which is not really a breakfast food. No fried egg, beans or bacon, forget about porrage or pancakes

Dalyvavau seminare lapkričio 9 dieną: salėje buvo labai labai šalta. Viso seminaro metu, dalyviai drebėjo, o po pertraukos apsivilko striukes. Kitas dalykas labai nustebino, tai skurdi skurdi kavos pertrauka, stalo vandens nepakako visiems dalyviams, kava termose atvėsus, pieno taip pat pritrūko. Taip pat seminaro pradžioje neveikė internetas, lektorė negalėjo niekaip prisijungti.

Not really sure what makes this hotel 4 star and not 3. Is it the (clean and nice) tub? Is it the fairly good breakfast and accomodating staff? Maybe it's the nice (if shared) balcony? Who knows? Our room didn't even have a fridge. Still, the price was nice, the room was clean, and the location is good. So we're happy.

I have mixed feelings about this hotel. I could say that they provided really nice service like really good breakfast, cleanliness, polite staff together with close to perfect location with many nice place to go around. However, I didn't like carpets on the floor and overall design of rooms. I somehow haven't felt myself like at home Though, it could really be only my problem.

Todella laadukas, hieno hotelli. Rahalle saa vastiketta. Luksusta. Todella, todella monipuolinen, hyvä aamupala hotellin alakerrassa. Huoneet kauniit, pieniä hienoja yksityiskohtia. Parvekkeita monessa huoneessa. Ilmastointi on. Kylpyhuone hyvin varusteltu. Tosin kylpyammeessa oli korkea reuna, pois tullessa suihkusta meinasi liukastua reunan yli tullessa.

Such a noisy place to stay. Unfortunately we are in a room next to reception (I did ask to be moved on check in but staff very unhelpful in relocating us). Rooms not sound proof so not a relaxing stay at all. Would not recommend if you're hoping to get an uninterrupted night's sleep.

Location is great, good price/ wifi/ shower power / pleasant receptionists- no bar but around the corner from the Moxy hotel. Only real gripe was the breakfast is not great- a lot of pickled veg, ham, cheese…..spread out to look like more than it is - hot and cold food all served warm from an older dour lady! - maybe best to skip it!

Nice place just by Laisves Aleja street: Nice walk and restaurants. The hotel is cozy, clean, kind staff. The breakfast Is good and varied. I was there for work, perfect location to rest and walk in the evening.

Довольно странный отель. Очень заботливый персонал, но само здание не слишком удобное. В ванной комнате страшно холодно, так как там нет никакого отопления. Во время уборки горничная оставила грязную тряпку прямо в ванной. Да и на завтрак, к сожалению, было мало вкусного. Из плюсов - идеальное расположение.

Все было бы хорошо, если не завтрак. Возможно был один в целом отеле. И персонал решил не заморачиваться с приготовлением завтрака.

Don't let the exterior fool you. HOF is a nice hotel with spacious rooms, and with an interesting floor plan (finding the restaurant was a small adventure). The parking facilities could be improved, however, as we had to wait for some time before anyone opened the gate, both in arrival and departure.

Great value option close to the main shopping street in town. Breakfast had a reasonable spread with enough to cater for all tastes, constantly being refreshed with fresh food and serving utensils. Rooms are comfortable and it's nice and quiet as it's just off the main street.

Great central location, cozy room, personally we were very pleased with the amenities for the price and comfortable bed. Thank you receptionist Aurimas for making us feel welcome!

The hotel is centrally located in Kaunas. There are a few free parking places for guests. The lady at the reception was very friendly. The room was big and nice. Breakfast was very generous, a lot of products, fresh, ladies very nice and helpful. Good hotel!

Прекрасный небольшой отель в центре Каунаса. Стильный и удобный интерьер. Замечательный и очень разнообразный завтрак! Персонал вежлив, доброжелателен и приветлив. Рядом Лайсвес аллея и музей Чюрлёниса. Небольшая закрытая парковка рядом с отелем.

К сожалению качество уборки 2х спальных апартаментов, которое позволили себе в отеле, недопустимо. Пол был в жутком состоянии, плюс непонятный запах, через 15 минут пребывания началась аллергическая реакция, пришлось собрать вещи и уехать.

Мне понравился и завтрак, и комната , и персонал. Отель расположен в центре, поэтому было очень шумно ночью.

La mia camera al piano terra era fronte parcheggio. Non era pulito anche per l'uso di moquette ovunque e velluto sul letto. Colazione nella media. Entra nella doccia è faticoso perché devo superare un muretto. Non è sicuramente 4 stelle.

Very good breakfast, nice and clean. Construction site on the road has moved. No noise anymore. Nonetheless we got an upgrade to a room in the back. The restaurant offers very good food to reasonable prices.

Had an enjoyable stay. The hotel offers nothing spectacular, but the standard was more than acceptable, the staff was helpful and it's location right within the main pedestrian street was nice and central.

Ottimo albergo, soprattutto in rapporto al prezzo. Camera confortevole e curata nei dettagli, bagno nuovo e dotato di vasca. Stanza silenziosa e pulita. Posizione centrale con parcheggio interno gratuito.

Great Hotel in very good localisation just few minutes walk to the old town. Rooms are pretty big and very well considered. There is everything that you need. Breakfast were just fine.

Good quality room with bathroom and delicious breakfast,just opposite building is doing some work and from 7am i can hear that otherwise the hotel is very nice

Расположение, завтраки, персонал на ресепшн. Удивило отсутствие холодильника в номере. В дизайне много тёмных тонов, но, как говорится: "На вкус и цвет..."

Отличный отель. Приемлемые цены. Жили в 4 местном номере. Очень большой. Чистые номера. Рекомендую. Если буду опять в тех местах, обязательно остановлюсь!

Schönes und Saubers Hotel, nettes Personal, saubere und schöne Zimmer, auch das Bad war gut. Das Frühstück war reichhaltig, die Auswahl groß. Vielen Dank

Amables, encantadores. El bufet de desayuno muy rico y variado. En pleno centro de Kaunas. Todas las habitaciones tienen terracota. Repetiría.

Rekomenduoju - nuostabus. Švaru, jauku labai geras poilsis. Pusryčiai nuostabūs, šviežias ir gausus maistas. Vienas iš pačių geriausių Kaune.

Jaukus viešbutukas, strategiškai labai geroje Kauno vietoje - čia pat Laisvės alėja, Muzikinis teatras ir Vilniaus gatvė už kelìų žingsnių

Perfektnė ubytovanie. Apartman sme mali velky, kuchynsky kut. Mikrovlnka a chladnicka. V kúpeľni k dispozicii pracka. Pre nas super.

Bon rapport entre le prix et les prestations offertes. Très grande chambre et bonne literie. petit déjeuner varié. Près du centre.

Sympatyczny hotel czysto przytulnie. Bardzo dobre i bogate śniadanie jak dla krajów bałtyckich. Problem z parkingiem i pojazdem

Przyzwoicie. Szkoda, że w pokoju nie ma wody do picia i lodówki. Za dużo gwiazdek jak na ten hotel. Miła i użyteczna obsługa.

Nice Hotel, friendly stuff. Hotel is very central, next to many Restaurants and Bars. Just parking could be easier...
