They seem a mess to me, I went to their location in North York at 25 Lisburn Crescent, after receiving few emails which I have a proof of it in 3 interviews, a Questionnaire, a Video Clip ( seems more like promoting and marketing their business ), a phone interview which Brian himself told me to go ahead and if I can make it to their location in 2 hours rush hours, which I made it even I had to rush, and the phone interview all went well, as otherwise why I was asked to be there at 5:30Pm! A brush to do a test paint which I did even if I applied for a position on their site as construction administrator! and then was offered admin Recruiter. Then my interview according to the manager went well and he was happy all with my interview in there. Then Brian also checked while plenty of painters were there to ask for sub-contracting I suppose. After all these even both job still on their website , Brian answered my message they are looking for other candidates and finally answered, we are OK! We don't need you now. U judge for yourself what is their intention for posting jobs? Having 4 interviews while promoting their company ? When I pass all and received emails and good feedback even in my face to face Interview !!! No more comments or discussion or even feedback! taking mass painters from all over, pick the cheapest, pay minimum, and get the jobs done quick. Because quality works are not valued compare to cheap labour and mass profit and more projects.

Do your homework, you can get painters for much less and faster at the same quality. We had the owner? come to our house. (whoever it was had jeans, baseball cap and asked for a $5,000 contract like he was selling cookies. Funny) Made us a watch a self-promo video before his arrival - waste of time as it mentioned something about Covid and then more testimonials. Anyway, upon arrival a cost estimate is given in 4 minutes without physically walking around the house. The colour consultation consists of "here is the colour" and 5 colour tags. Pictures taken of rooms because 'we don't want any problems later on' he says. Hardly professional. Price was 40% - 45% more than competitors. Way overpriced. Time to finish the work was 3-4 days more than competitors without explanation. Worst thing he made it sound as if using another company was a downgrade in quality. He disparaged other painters by saying you can get someone cheaper but they won't be as good. Really? Professional painters are all overpriced? This is an estimator than books a lot of estimates and throws out over blown pricing and see what sticks. The reply by the company will be ' we don't have you on file' or ' we're not for everyone with our prices'. Then just go on homestars or other review sites, call a few and you can find a much cheaper company that's more professional at the same quality. Painting is painting really as this guy said, it's not too different one from the other. Good luck.

About 7 years ago, I had previously hired Home Painters to paint the interior of my home, so I reached out to them in October to quote on a porch painting job in. All the other paint companies refused to do any exterior painting at that time due to the weather but Home Painters said it was fine. It was not fine. I wasn't provided with the proper instructions to allow the paint to cure – I was told that after a few hours the surface is fine to walk on. So they came back to do some touch-ups only for new instructions on drying time to be given and yet the paint began chipping in a matter of days. At this point the weather was getting colder and there was no use in having them do yet another touch up. I ended up covering what I could with an outdoor carpet. Communication with this company lacked organization and professionalism – they would text and email which made tracking information a challenge. Brian Young, the owner, came to do the estimatez and that was an odd interaction as well. As he was calculating the quote, he literally shoved his ipad in my face forcing me to watch a promo video – incredibly odd for the customer. Suffice to say I won't be recommending this company to anyone.

After staring at the same old, boring walls at home for a couple of lockdown years, I decided it was time to let the Outside World back in again. First, however, I needed to freshen up the living room, dining room, and hallway walls and ceilings. Home Painters was the fourth contractor I’ve reached out to for some painting and repairs in my condo. I used other painters in the past and their work was good too, however, I needed more than painting done so I had to choose contractors that will do everything I’m looking for. From the moment I sent the inquiry, they were by far the most professional and responsive just from that alone. Brian was quick to reach out to me when there was a time conflict. Mauricio provided the consultation and he was prompt and honest which I truly appreciate. Milos and Adrian were great. They were on time, very professional and left my place spotless. They even moved the furniture for me on areas they have completed. They interacted with the super in my building and he even mentioned that they were very polite and nice. It was estimated that work may take 3 days but they completed in 2. When I was shopping around for contractors, Home Painters was slightly more expensive than the others. But with the quality and customer service I received, I am extremely satisfied. I highly recommend and would definitely use again in the future.

Brian and his team(s) of exceptionally talented, professional and capable painters recently painted a property for me which included a complete interior paint job (requiring a lot of wall and ceiling repair work), full exterior paint job including entry and garage doors, full kitchen cabinet refinishing and painting, tile and and mantle painting, as well as refinishing and sealing a very large 2 story wooden deck. The were expedient, very professional, cleanly, and highly skilled. I've used Brian's services in the past at other properties as well. Brian provided the quote and had his excellent team of painters came do the job at our house. Our lead on the job was Alish, I don't recall all the other team members but they were all great. Very friendly and professional, did an amazing job on the house. The job took almost 2 weeks and they would work all day & clean up the job site each night so we could still enjoy the outside in the evenings. The quote was a fair price, a little more than other quotes that I had from some companies that friends had used. I think the job HPT did was better and worth the extra few dollars. I had to call them a couple weeks after to come help with some of the windows that where sticking (after being painted) and they where quick to respond and sent one of the guys back on my schedule to help just cut the area that the paint dried and was holding the window shut. Excellent crew, great value and looks amazing. I would recommend Brian and his team if your looking to paint / stain your house for sure.

Hired Toronto Home Painters to stain my red brick house to grey and paint the doors, facia and trim. 95% happy with the work. Brian was helpful in picking colour scheme. House looks great from the road. When you get close you can see that paint and stain was splattered on window frames and other things mounted to house (electrical boxes and hose bibs). Attention to the details was lacking. Had to lay down my own drop sheets or my interlock would have been ruined. I informed Brian the owner about the paint on my window frames and how they would now have to be painted and he did not offer any discount or to have them painted. Would recommend if you want a quick affordable job but not if you want a perfect result.

I sat on this for a couple of months deciding whether to write a review or not for my experience with Home Painters. So here it is ... Had my kitchen cupboards painted by them. I could have had just as good a job at half the price if I went with another company. $5000 was way too overpriced. In fact, a couple of days after the cupboard doors were put back on, there was a paint chip on the cupboard frame. I emailed Brian to let him know, and his response was we closed the door too hard. He actually wanted me to pay an additional $245 to have this repaired. Imagine just paying $5000 and he wants an additional fee. This is my experience. Do with it what you wish.

Hired Home Painters recently to paint my whole townhouse unit from top to bottom, across 4 levels, including newly installed staircases and removing old popcorn ceilings. Good quality at a low price - and within estimated timeframe . Got 3 quotes to paint my house from 3 painters like most people should. Was a little leery in the fact these guys were $900 less than the other 2 quotes but he seemed like an honest guy and promised to take only 8 hours to do the job. His crew came in and did not leave any paint marks on the floor or anywhere else, they did a great job but still wondering how they were cheaper unless the other 2 companies were overcharging. Whenever you’re looking for a contractor to work on your home, you’re always worrying about whether it will work out. HGTV has done a good job warning home owners about bad contractors! But I can say with full confidence that Brian and his team is absolutely reputable and top notch. I’ve painted before, but their attention to detail is something I could not replicate. The colours they used really brought that “new home” feel back to my space and I would not hesitate to hire them again for future projects.

Ray's Team is Great! Ray and his team just finished painting, removing stucco, and fixing my Den's Door. The team is professional & Excellent in its work. They made sure that they covered all the furniture and appliance to avoid any mess. The end to end process was simple. once the job was done, Ray gave me enough time to check everything and fixed it to my satisfaction. I definitely recommend them. one star off because the mgmt office got my condo # wrong every single visit and on invoice.

We had the whole main floor painted, including the ceilings and all the trim. Jackie, Ronaldo and Rodrigo were very professional. They arrived on time and completed the job in a timely manner. When they left they cleaned up the worksite and even helped put the heavier pieces of furniture back in place. I hired Home Painters in the Fall of 2019 to do an exterior wood repair/painting job. This was on the second storey of my home, due to water damage. These guys are the best. Great customer service. They put a manager responsible for my project and I could contact him whenever I had any questions or concerns. Home Painters Toronto just left my house after completing a whole house painting job of walls, trim, door, ceiling, pillars etc. Amazing job, super clean lines, attention to detail with everything and very friendly staff on top of all this. I would hire this company again and I recommend you hire them if you are looking for a home painting service. They knew what they needed to do and got it done without my intervention.

They were responsive but the quote was ridiculous compared to other highly rated companies I contacted. About $2-3000 more than elsewhere. I got my job done to high quality by another company for much less. Home Painters really needs to re-evaluate their fees. Edit: responding to their response, I'm never choosing you because you charge 50% more and I went with another company that was much cheaper and did a stellar job.

Ronaldo was our painter and we are thrilled with his work. He was lovely to have in our home, always left everything very clean, and truly went above and beyond. You could tell he really cares about his work. We had a tight timeline at the beginning of the job as we were moving furniture back into the house and Rob stayed very close to me to address concerns I had about meeting the timeline which I really appreciated.

He could not name the painter's who would show up the next day and spend the next 4 days in my house. Big up front "sale" - ok painting and zero on-site job visits. Would not recommend - substantial interior job - May 2021.

I requested a few rooms in my house to be painted. I was told a minimum of $1500 is required before a painter will come in. When I filled out the estimate form, there is a question about budget. One option is the $500 - $1000.00 range. Why bother making it an option? Only big jobs are on their radar. Disappointing.

Home Painters did a great job fixing up exterior wood siding on our house (including our front door, garage door and trim around all our windows). The work included adding caulking where needed, sanding, staining and coating. The workers were friendly and reviewed everything with us at the end of the job.
