I checked in Hotel Hazel from 5th to 8th June 2018. I have to thank the front desk staff as they were so helpful as in arranging taxi and always smiling. The bed was super comfortable and the pillows were like clouds. The amenities they put in the room were excellent like the super comfortable bathrobes. Lets not forget to thank the housekeeping staff who did all the work to keep the rooms clean and tidy. The internet was great on the first day… however it slowed down a lot on my last day there. Breakfast was amazing. You have the very talented egg station chefs who will cook made to order eggs. They have wide verity of foods from European to Chinese to Myanmar dishes. Well the outstanding person I met during my stay has to be the Duty Manager, Mr. Nandar Aung. He’s ever so friendly and knows how to converse with guests. That is important in this industry because it shows that upper management do care about customer satisfaction. Well done. I’ll defiantly check in if I am in Mandalay in the near future.

We spent 3 days in this Hotel. At the first day I really enjoyed. The foods and breakfast was great. Especially the staff are very nice. But one thing I must point out is that we really want and try to use swimming pool in the hotel but we can't take it. Because we didn't bring swimming suite. My point is if the hotel is near the beach of course I agree with them without swimming suits we can't take. During our stay I didn't see no one taking swimming pool. And the reception would tell you and asking you to buy swimming suits. That was awkward. I really enjoyed in hotel bar. And for room service we need to tell them too. That's awful too. The wifi barely doesn't work. All the prices are abit expensive for me...some day I would be back and must swim in your swimming pool. Hahahha

Behind the classy looks of the ground floor (big stairs, swimming pool, large reception), it felt like a giant building with no soul - lost in the far East of Mandalay. The restaurant is overpriced for the food and service offered. The management of the hotel should be a little bit more customer-oriented and put itself in our position more often. As we say, the devil is in the details - yet many left us disappointed. However, I have to admit that the staff is really nice and is always available to help.

Located on the way to Pyin-Oo-Lwin, can say that a little bit far from the downtown. That is also its advantage, quiet with no traffic noise. Staff are friendly. Hotel is very new. A good place to stay for a big company who wants to do big meeting or for married couple who wants to hold their wedding ceremony. Added: got a new bar at the lobby, named Hazel Bar.

Specious room which is nice and clean. Full of facilities. Service is good. It is lovely that is tea or coffee is complementary ( if you are in love with them ). Food are also good but expensive. Swimming pool is also big enough. Chlorine is not that much, water temperature is also good. Excellent hotel. Match with their price.

Highly recommended! Hotel is world class! The hotel is maintained extremely neat and clean! The staff of very friendly courteous. Rooms are spacious! Breakfast spread is huge and tasty. Had a chance to meet the Owner and she is very polite and nice to talk. She takes personal interest to ensure the guests are comfortable.

Nice Hotel at quite place in Mandalay. Service is good. Rooms are OK. Breakfast is good and can say the best in compare with other same rank hotels in Mandalay. Can see Shan Mountain and the vast paddy fields from the window of hotel. I usually choose this hotel for very often my travel to Mandalay.

The rooms are old, hallway has bad carpet, The worst thing is the shower, very bad. Stuff are not well trained. Not worth paying this amount of money for this service, price and facilities. Tho Breakfast is ok, has car parking, beds are good. Hope they will upgrade very soon.

My family had a good time during our stay in hazel. They welcomed us with mango drink and we were offered free drinks. Seems Swimming pool is not cleaned for a long time. Breakfast buffet offers Myanmar and continental items which gives a good option to foreigners.

Clean and does the job. Nothing to fancy but has good Wi-Fi as far as Burma goes. Location not the greatest, outside of Mandalay proper. Also entrance is from a smaller street without lights - beware at night or bring a torch.

Bad experience in reception They asked foreign fee for native (Burmese passport holder) I just comeback from oversea that why I have only PB Ps: foreign fee is double for native

Not bad for a short stay. Pros: good room, tasty breakfast, friendly staff. Cons: surrounding area, slow & unstable Internet connection, hot water is not so hot at peak hours, clogged bathroom drain.

Nice and quiet hotel with good breakfast. Swimming pool is there. But wifi speed is so poor. Nice, sweet and friendly staffs should be placed at reception counter instead of current demanding ones.

A wonderful place to stay while in Mandalay. A modern hotel with cozy and comfortable rooms, managed by efficient and hospitable staff. The restaurant serves a wide variety of delicious food too.

No maintenance in my room. Base cabinet is not properly fixed. While I put my language onto it, it suddenly drop on my foot.

Hotel Hazel is situated in silent area of mandalay. Staffs are so hospitality.some hotel rooms need to renovate, especially room’s bathroom textile. Rooms prices are reasonable.

Sandeep & Engkin are very supportive staff with well behavior in resturant.

Hotel rooms are wide enough and clean. But when i was there, the pool was closed for maintenance and the hotel should prepare more variety of food for breakfast.

Hotel is good but breakfast is not good. U can enjoy complimentary cocktails... Ambiance is really nice.rooms are good too. You can find ATM in hotel.

Always stay here whenever I get Mandalay. Place is a bit far from downtown but this is the best choice for reasonable price with good standard.

Meals were good. Services are quite nice especially Reception response well. Only rooms are not soundproof. Otherwise overall is ok.

The hotel doesnt need to br under 1 star. Poor maintanance and rooms lime in a hostel. Located in an industrial zone

This place is just for local couples & Party guys. Can't get hot water if you want to take a shower. No wifi.
