Parfait pour une petite escale à Mandalay ! Nous avons réservé une nuit dans cet hôtel pour notre escapade à la journée à Mandalay. Arrivant directement de Yangon vers 6 h, nous avons été accueillis chaleureusement. + Le personnel est pro et à l'écoute. Nous avons pu avoir notre chambre quelques minutes après notre arrivée. Nous avons pu également prendre notre petit déjeuner prévu le lendemain, le jour de notre arrivée. En effet, nous avions réservé la chambre uniquement pour nous rafraîchir et partir en excursion la journée et nous reposer avant notre départ en soirée pour le Lac Inle. + L'aide à la préparation de notre journée. L'accueil nous a réservé un taxi pour la journée. Il s'avère que le chauffeur était d'un professionnalisme et d'une gentillesse remarquable. + La présence d'un mini frigo dans la chambre nous a permis d'avoir de l'eau fraîche pour la route. + Dans la salle de bain, vous trouverez des articles de toilettes : brosses à dent, peignes et autres. + Par rapport aux prestations : un très bon rapport qualité / prix. + Un ascenseur est appréciable. + La propreté de l'établissement. - L'environnement de l'hôtel est plutôt bruyant en soirée. - La salle de bain est étroite : une douche et tout est trempé ! - Le manque d'équipement pour accrocher les vêtements dans la salle de bain. Une escale à petit prix !

If you stay in this hotel, you become the immediate neighbor of the Royal Palace. Not joking. The hotel is located opposite the palace. So it's near to places of interests. The place is clean, counter staff are conversant in English. All staff are friendly and helpful. When you give them feedback, they improve immediately. Very good working attitude. The internet needs to be improved as it's not very stable. However it gets connected back quickly so I still get my work done in the day. This time of the year the sun rises at 5.30 am and you can walk around in the cool of the day before it gets hot at 8.30 am. Hence the morning prayer from the mosque behind serves as a wake up call. But it lasts less than 5 mins. There are bikes for rental if you are adventurous enough to try their traffic which can be not very law abiding.

Perfect stay !! We arrived quite early after a night in a bus from Yangon. The staff apologized that our room would only be ready around 10 am, but we were offered to stay in the lobby or just leave the bags and come back later. Once we got back, they informed us that we had been upgraded to a better room ... which was great, really clean, good bed, working A/C, hot shower, complimentary water and everything. The breakfast was good. The best part of our stay was really the staff, who have been amazing to us. Tayzar and his staff were really helpful, and they did everything so our stay was the best possible. Much much recommended !!

Gutes und sauberes Hotel im Herzen von Mandalay. Das Frühstück ist sehr gut, es gibt eine große Auswahl, die jeden Tag variiert. Der Service ist sehr gut. Man kann direkt im Hotel ein Motorrad mieten (12. 000 Kyat pro Tag). Wir haben auch unser Taxi zum Flughafen an der Rezeption gebucht und 12.000 Kyat bezahlt, was ein guter Preis zum Flughafen ist. Die Zimmer sind gut ausgestattet (Klimaanlage, Kühlschrank, Wasserkocher, viel Stauraum,...) und sauber. Hin und wieder kam ein starker Geruch aus dem Abfluss im Bad. Leider hatten wir viele Moskitos im Zimmer.

Nice place to stay if you're coming to Mandalay for a few nights. Beds a comfy enough for the price you pay and the service is brilliant. Breakfast was pretty tasty too. Don't expect the Wi-Fi to be all that great though and the shower (at least for me) was an experience every day. The push button wouldn't lock into place so I had to keep my hand in the button the whole time I was having a shower. Minor issue though and overall a great experience.

Despite best efforts of the staff, I won't be getting back there in a hurry. Bathrooms are in a desperate need of modernization, internet connection is dodgy,there were problems with hot water in the morning (if you got up after seven, you could only have a shower in cold water) and the dining room is connected with the reception/waiting area,which is a bit messy. Lovely and helpful staff though.

Located conveniently in Mandalay. Compact but comfortable rooms with air conditioning. Easy stroll to local restaurants. Very helpful staff. Hearty breakfast was included. Reception also made bookings for our coach rides. They will hold your baggage for the day if required and will also provide access to the staff bathroom for a shower (and provide a towel). Happy to recommend Hotel Sahara.

Room is too small for a two-single-bed stay. You don't even have enough space to place down your stuff. Bathroom is too small too. The shower tap is too tricky to use. You have to pull the tap with one hand continuously. Otherwise, no water for you. The only good thing about the hotel is its location. It is right at the corner of the palace. Overall, I think it's not quite worth the price.

Pluses -Breakfast (they had even prepared for us a take away box when we had to leave the hotel by 3am to catch the train) -Maybe the cleanest bathroom we have had in Myanmar Minuses -During our 2 nights stay we didn't have hot shower - It's close to the main road, this means it can be quite noisy after 5am.

Sehr hilfsbereite Leute. Sind zuvorkommend, kümmern sich um alles ohne aufdringlich zu sein. Sehr angenehmer Aufenthalt. Early Check in war kein Problem (früh halb acht!) und auch noch gratis Frühstuck. Super! Nur darauf achten ein Zimmer nicht Richtung Straße zu nehmen, noch ist gegenüber eine Baustelle.

王宮の端から道路を渡った所にあり、非常に分かりやすい場所です。接客が非常に丁寧で、ウェルカムドリンクとフルーツもあり。チェックイン時に部屋を無料アップグレードしてくれて、今日、明日の予定を聞いて明日の空港までのタクシーをすぐに手配してくれたり、わかりやすくソフト面にものすごくチカラを入れています。というのも、ロビー、エレベーター、室内に蚊が多いからサービス面でカバー！！とか？本当に驚くほど蚊がいました。 蚊は、蚊取り線香を30分くらいつけておいたら全滅したので、スプレーなどを持っていない場合は近所の用品店のようなところで買うといいと思います。（1ドルもしません） 朝食は6時から9時半までと、やや早めです。

The staff here was so friendly. They connected me with a mototaxi driver that I used every day I was there. Very fair prices. The day I checked out, they offered to keep my bags and let me take a shower before my night train. Rooms were clean and awesome for the price. Safe neighborhood too.

Amazing value and staff. Really comfortable room. Delicious buffet breakfast. Highly recommended to stay. Book through Agoda for cheaper room rates too! If you organise a ancient city tour through them make sure to ask for ZinZin as your driver. He is an absolute gentleman.

Very good and clean hotel for the price. The owner warned us that the remaing double bed rooms are facing the road and therefore noisy so we changed to a quiet separate bed room.

We had a wonderful stay here. Comfortable rooms and the reception team couldn’t have been more helpful or welcoming. Good location too. Would definitely recommend this hotel!
