I have ordered from Hungry Jack's multiple ways: I would like to note that I am often purchasing for six people, so my orders are quite large, earning Hungry Jack's a good amount each time I order. I am also speaking as a former fast food store manager and a current retail store manager. 1. Menulog First time, it arrived with my daughter's cheeseburger missing from her kids meal... I let it go and gave her my burger (which was a chicken royal). My daughter is six years old and very understanding. Second time, my daughter's nuggets were missing... I called for both the burger and nuggets and was told I could pick them up anytime. I am a carer in a six person house with a child, sometimes it is difficult for me to go out and pick up food, hence why I order instead... I let it go and thought maybe I can pick the up sometime or ask for it in the notes of my next order and hope they are able. Third time, they did add my missing items to this next order, however I have no sauce for my daughter's nuggets, no napkins and no straws... both drinks were spilled over the cups and very sticky. Forth time, Once again... my daughter's burger is missing (this time a chicken royal). I call 19 times... 6 of which I was hung up on and able to hear some not too nice comments on one of those hang ups... a few of these calls were engaged and the rest rang out... I can deduce that this was intentional based on the comments I was able to hear in the hang up on the first call. I stayed on my phone ringing for the last time before I gave up and tried for a refund through menulog or go down to Hungrys Jack's when able to explain what had happened. When the phone was answered I was asked for my order number, no problem... I was asked for my name and number... also fine... I explained the missing burger issue and was told "you can come down and pick this up anytime"... This is nearly an $80 order... I paid a marked up price for this burger (and whole order) to be able to have it delivered... so I asked "Can I please have it delivered?" and his response "No, I'm sorry... there is nothing I can do." I said "Fine" and hung up... This was their mistake... their 4th mistake... and I am expected by them to drive down to pick up one burger that I paid a marked up price for... I was not offered a refund or a freebie (which is what I would have done when I worked there). I order online because as a carer with 6 people, it is difficult for me to get there, which is why I order online for delivery. The rudeness and lack of empathy is appalling, I would not be pleased with my staff if I worked there. Perhaps I can order one last time and receive the missing burger in another order... hopefully with nothing missing... ha ha ha wishful thinking. I am actually going to try to go down to the store to pick it up... then I am done with them. 2. Drivethru First time, grilled chicken burger missing, I had to go into the restaurant to have them get it for us. Second time, parked for 11 minutes, missing a large onion rings, caught the staff member while she was still in the drivethru, told to park while she collected it for us. Waited 6 minutes... they came and then whole rest of the order was now cold. The onion rings were sparse compared to normal and were burnt. DO NOT RECCOMMEND

I've been here both in-person and ordered over UberEats and the service has been awful each time. The restaurant is always dirty, there are always wrappers and trays left on the table that don't get cleared, making it hard to find somewhere to sit. The floor is always dirty, whether marked by shoes or random bits of food from previous customers. Each time I have been in person, there were rowdy teenagers sitting in the corner playing their music incredibly loudly and screaming at the top of their lungs, making it impossible to want to sit and eat your meal there. The staff have themselves haven't been unpleasant to deal with, but it's obvious they don't take pride in their work or their store, or that they aren't treated well enough to care about the place to begin with (working in fast food sucks, I get it!). Whenever I have ordered in UberEats, it generally takes 40+ minutes for my order to even be prepared, meaning that I might not get my order until an hour after I first placed it. I have even had Uber drivers who have accepted the job and then cancelled it because the wait time for my food to be made was too long and they didn't want to spend 40+ minutes waiting for one job. Then, when I receive the order, there are usually items missing or incorrect items delivered with no explanation (did they simply get it wrong, or were they out of something and substituted it for something else instead?) The first couple of experiences, you brush it off as "busy night", or just a random bad experience. Sometimes it's just like that with fast food outlets. But every time I have dealt with this particular location, my experience has been terrible. Not worth spending the money here. Honestly, spend it elsewhere where you'll get your food quicker and your experience will be more pleasant. We get fast food for the convenience, but this has been nothing but inconvenient.

Drive thru is always a joke, they always park you and basically beat you to the wait space with your cold, soggy bag or forget about you. Any normal person would remember that and think better of sitting in that mess and get out of the car and order their food at the counter. That silly person is met with a bomb site of a store, but it's busy, you can understand that. We all worked a job like that when we were young. Once you watch all the people served after you get their food, you start to wonder what's happening. But give them a bit more time. After 30 minutes of waiting, you approach the counter and politely ask what seems to be the problem. They ask what the number is on your receipt and then tell you they've been calling your number for some time and didn't know where you were. By now, you're more than likely to either snap or snap badly. I explained that wasn't possible, I'd been sitting there watching, not playing with my phone or sidetracked at all. I had it explained to me pretty abruptly "well we called you and you didn't answer" I snapped then saying that I had watched closely at a particular order that was called many times but was not mine and then asked which staff member had called out the number but was met with a manager smiling ever so sweetly at me and saying "I'm so sorry about this" and walking off. By the time I walked back in the door at home, a full hour had passed. We live 2.6km from this place, it's a 5 minute drive. To top it off, one of the drinks leaked everywhere, so much so that it would have been impossible for staff to miss it.

I took the order straight to that lady and told her politely order is cold & not fresh. She replied me very rudely and her behaviour was very strange and unprofessional and feels like racism, keeps arguing continuously. She was so arrogant and has an unpleasant attitude and then she took the order from the shelve and throw it angrily and then gave us the same order by other crew member after 2 minutes and order still cold. I told her, I paid the money for fresh and hot food for my family then she replied take your money back and I said I don’t want money, I want fresh and hot food for my kid but you gave us bad customer service. Worst experience ever had, don’t know what’s wrong with that lady, unfortunately don’t have the option for 0 star rating. Untrained staff, rubbish bin overflowed, toilet super dirty, hygiene was missing everywhere.

Unlike the other burger joint who have not got a single order right in the past year I reckon, even small orders, I got the daily special last week Friday at the airport & omG I had to go back to the counter 5 times I reckon... PS, I always get a receipt because now they're getting defensive... My son went through mc drive-thru & ordered, paid & at the service window they told him that payment hadn't gone through so he said stuff it, I'll just pay again & they said that he can NOT pay there & he had to back around...

So Tuesday night 10:30 PM, I am standing in front of the crew member and making an order, there comes another crew member, all excited and laughing already, totally ignoring the fact that this crew member is serving a customer and taking an order. Then she goes on to tell something in her ears and then they both just start laughing like mad in front of me. The crew member taking my order literally needed to sit down to have a good laugh! A simple burger order took 5 mins, because she was interrupted first of all, which could have waited and then she walked off 3 times while taking my order, first to tell something to the person making my burger, then the rest two times I don’t know for what. I understand everyone needs to have some light hearted conversations and fun going on at work, but at least learn the basics of taking orders and customer service!

Visited the drive through asking for kids meals medium size to have the uno sticker for my kids wanted to try it and have fun. Was told that they can't upgrade to different size asked why as other places they do for medium with no issues (Mac and KFC) staff member said to me it is what it is can't do anything about it in a rude way 16 yr old boy talking to 36 years old man like this is just not acceptable. Called manager agreed to give medium size, went to window gave me medium cups no uno on them and was told not allowed with kids meals, spoke to manager again and she wouldn't give cups with uno on them after 30 minutes waiting in drive through I left the store without the meals asked for a refund. Never again hungry jacks but i wanted to escalate my complaint the way i was treated by staff and manager is simply unacceptable.

Absolutely awful, i went drive through and asked for fresh fries and popn and fries. In the speaker and with the lady who charged me I asked for freshly cooked, I made sure she heard it. Then when I went to the pick up window a girl handed the fries to me looked sad and angry she handed the bag to me and I was surprised how fast they made a fresh order, I asked her is this fresh she lied and said yes!! and she gave me an old and cold fries. Lucky I checked it on the spot and I kept calling until she finally replied and angrily agreed to give me a fresh order. But the awful thing is she mixed the called order inside. And she kept complaining to her friend. Shame on you hungry jacks for employing lairs and awful people.

Went to Craigieburn HJs today and spent around 40-50 minutes in line in the drive through! When we finally got to the counter they asked us for our receipts back so they could go through all the bags to see what was in which bag, which just made me question how long had my food been sitting there? The staff seemed very slow, one girl at the order taking window was folding cup tray boxes which didn’t seem productive at the time, and when we got to the front none of the staff seemed like they were rushing in anyway, which was extremely frustrating given how long we’d been waiting. The staff were all friendly and smiling though which is nice given they were probably getting abused for the long waits. Understand that the staff are possibly new and a bit slower, but this was beyond a joke.

They mucked up our drive thru order, yep it happened again. Go in store, explain whats missing. Show young kid original order. He says he'll get the manager. Me left wondering why. I just wanted what I had ordered. She comes out. Puts her hands into our food bag without gloves on. I explained what was missing. She took our bag. Put hands in it again. To which I asked her to put on gloves. She cracked it. Threw out the whole order. Then I had to stand there and wait for the whole order again. She practically threw the bag back at me saying "there ya go". No apology, no manners, rubbish customer service. I was left shocked. Got back into car, looked at my thickshake, realised they had given me vanilla instead of strawberry. Was too scared to go back in

so just had the worst fast food experience i’ve ever been subjected to; the incompetence would be humorous if it weren’t so time-consuming and inconvenient. we ordered rebel whoppers, all vegan and one with pineapple as an extra: the whopper with pineapple had no vegan cheese (also an extra) and was in the wrong meal, and so we went back to fix the problem. the burger returned with cheese, no pineapple: went to fix the problem. the THIRD time returning, the burger once again has no pineapple. finally, a fourth time around, we’ve gotten the correct burger, half an hour later and having to drive a good way back up the highway. genuinely wouldn’t recommend going there for whatever reason. i believe the worker making our food’s name is Kyle.

I have been a regular during lockdowns and mostly buy through Driveway. Quality of food and consistency of service are very random. They often make mistakes i.e.not giving what you order e.g. drink without ice will have ice or might fill half glass. Whopper without Mayo often comes with Mayo. All of this wastes time because you have to reorder. It also depends on duty managers who are terrible in handling delays. You can't complain much with the kids on duty because they often are not fully trained and are very young and I just don't want to be rude to these workers. There is no complaint or feedback process in place. It looks like a business which is geared on just convenience food and does not care about repeat business.

Service isn't great, you have staff that are not happy to be serving you. Food is mehhh, like the beef patties are burnt sometimes and has that disgusting taste of burnt crusts. I only get the frozen drinks from here as I've been disappointed many times and wouldn't want to spend my money here for something I can't finish. Also very expensive. Most fast food stores have gone down in service and food quality, I know it's fast food but it used to be decent. Now it's just not up to any good standards. I hope you will improve in these areas.

The manager at this HJ should be sacked. She is do rude, arrogant and shouldn't be managing thus place. Food always cold. Asked for not much ice in iced coffee was full of ice. Got a birthday free whopper as today is my birthday lady at counter scanned it then called manager and then ride it manager said it doesn't scan after the other lady deleted it and of course it won't scan if the lady beforehand scanned the barcode o redeemed it's not gonna do it again so I lost on getting a whopper for the birthday in my app maybe the frumpy manager wanted it for herself. Never ever going to this HJ again they have gone downhill. Roxy and Tullamarine are best til this day.

7.00 pm 24.05.09 I was Served by Kaitlyn, We were missing a burger, nuggets and large fries. Contacted the franchise and spoke with Kaitlin, who advised she personally packed my order and packed everything after I have explained what was missing. Did not appreciate her tone or attitude and carried on trying to talk over me. The conversation got heated which lead to her hanging up on me. I called back and again, she was nothing but very rude and I am disgusted with her customer service and the fact she ripped me of without admitting her wrong. The worse experience and customer service I have ever witnessed. A real waste of my time and night

Deplorable standard of food. Vegan burger came cold, with one patty, no lettuce and no onions? Took 10 mins to make that somehow? When I returned the product, I was met with a rude manager that was smirking to her friends, who were loitering at the counter for the entire time and questioning me on why I returned the product? Apparently they used to work there? Guess that gives them the right to intimidate the customers. “We ran out of onions and lettuce” is deemed as acceptable at this store? An unconscionable experience that will be followed up with head office first thing Monday morning. Management and workers should be ashamed.

I went to hungry jacks in Craigieburn today and ordered 2 plant based whoppers with cheese. After I payed and went to collect my food the person at the counter gave me the wrong order and then I told it to her and gave it back, then she tried to give it back to me saying it’s my order but after saying it’s wrong and this is what I ordered she came back with my order. After I left and almost ate the burger I saw that the burger didn’t have any cheese and had the wrong patty. Honestly this isn’t the first time this happened and I’m clearly disappointed with its service.

Very bad and slow customer service, waited 5 minutes at the drive thru window and then had to park in the waiting bay for anther 10 more minutes for order, for them to get it wrong. They told me that I didn't item. I doubled checked the order when I was paying at the first window, they told me what I ordered. It's not the first time with this store, always slow to get your order and sent to holding with no one in drive thru. Like all take away stores theses days they care more about the on line orders and not the customer who has taken time to go to store.

It's Halal certified. It's my go-to Hungry Jack's. Burgers are tasty and juicy. Although online orders for delivery, I wouldn't recommend it. Your chips and burgers would get cold by then. It takes quite a while when dining in.

I don’t recommend Hungry Jacks, here is why; We just received our drive-thru order. The women who took our order struggled to take the order so much we requested receipts to double check everything was correct. At the next drive-thru window had a women who had so much perfume on that our food and OUR car smelled of perfume! We had to leave the window down as it was unbearable. To add to this she had her long nails sticking out of the gloves. It’s not hygienic and you are there to work, cut out the over the top displays and get peoples orders right. Urgh, the service and smell!

It was a nightmare. Ordered through drive through and was asked to wait in the waiting bay. We had 4 orders presented to us that were not ours. The guy took it back 4 times saying ok ill fix it up for you and again wrong order. We stood in that waiting bay for half an hour and at the end I just had to get off the car and walk to the kitchen door and get a refund. I was glad i didnt get food from them after seeing the state of the kitchen. It was filthy. Never go to this hungry jacks. Filthy kitchen with food all over the place. Staff don't know what they are doing. Disgusting.

This store is absolutely disgraceful, waited in drive thru last week only to get cold burgers and the grilled chicken could break a window if I threw it at it. Then to go back and get my burgers replaced, come home to eat them and no sauce on the burgers oh and not to mention the hair on my daughters cheese burger! The owner needs to take control of his business and think of the customers if he wishes to make a living! Have to say the manager was great about it all hats off to them but in all seriousness this place will go down hill fast if no action is taken!

Dropped in about 8pm on a Saturday night and they were flat out busy with walk-in customers, drive-thru customers and delivery drivers. The kitchen seemed to be as working as efficiently as possible, but it was about a 15 minute wait for my basic order. The food was tasty, as expected. HOWEVER: staff are not cleaning and sanitising tables between customers, and staff ignored a spilled drink on the floor, only putting a "Caution" sign in the middle of it. Yes, I know you are busy, but there are hygiene standards. Someone should be cleaning tables and floors!

honestly i dont like reviews but i will write one due to the situation i just experienced. i went through the craigieburn hungry jacks drive through and was rushed through my order and cut off constantly i kept respectful and went on ahead with the normal process. i get home and go to eat the food i bought and the directions i gave on removing bacon out of a burger clearly went unheard. COULDNT EAT, AND WASTED MY MONEY, AND HAD TO DEAL WITH DISRESPECT. THANKS GUYS

HJ Craigieburn has been using the same standard beef patty for all of their burgers thinking “customers are not gonna known”. The Grill Masters should come with Angus Beef Patty which is much better quality, thicker and juicier! Unethical and deceitful!

Just had a breakfast with my little baby and faced very rude customer service lady..I don’t know what was wrong with her . We order our food we spent money but she was sooo rude even made me upset . If u don’t like your job why you bother to come to work lady? At least have smile on your face . We have done nothing wrong with you . The restaurant is always dirty. Bins full, tables not wiped down for the next customer to use. Service is generally slow in both drive thru and instore. Food is hit and miss - sometimes you'll get a sloppy made burger with more sauce than necessary to the point it falls apart. If they are busy avoid unless you want issues with your order.

I had some lunch here in the 26th Jan. First time I've visited the store, so my experience may not be indicative of their usual service. The dining area was not clean and service was quite slow, but I think the person they had working the register may have been fairly new. What disturbed me was the number of staff wearing male around their chins. Of the seven staff members I saw, only three were actually wearing masks correctly - despite the manage being there among them.

Attention to all of my Muslim Brothers and sisters I just purchased 6 whoppers last nite for my Family and one of them had Bacon in it Be very careful when purchasing a whopper from Hungry jacks because they do mix the burgers when they pack them make sure u guys double check It's Halal certified they have the certificate and everything my Family was not Happy The employees made me wait for so long when I just ordered 6 whoppers I was there for 25 minutes such a long wait

Friday, March 18th. Ordered through menulog. Food delivered COLD. Missing a double whopper. Called up to ask for a replacement on the DW and the "manager" told me to call menulog and sort it out with them. I'm not after a refund. I'm after a simple replacement. Every other place can replace simple missing items even if ordering through delivery services, but this "manager" said I had to go through menulog, even though it was HJ's stuff up to begin with.

I was surprised this store did not give me a receipt whenever i requested .first window i placed my order then went to the payment window , requested my receipt.. told me to get from the next window, when i get there, i was advised that they run out of paper or the do not give receipt anymore, onetime, the counter staff just shrug her shoulder at me , and told me they stop giving receipt is that legal??? stop buying from them now…

The owners at this place seriously need to take a long hard look at themselves. I bet they havent spent a single moment here observing the work load the employees have to cope with. They simply cannot keep up. The order screen is fill on both screens. There are around 20 burgers already made just waiting to be put in bags this makes the burgers freezing cold by the time they are send out. Very badly managed and operated

Unfortunately I don't have the option to rate a zero star. We just went to this store and made a big order and when we got home we found out that the burgers didn't have lettuce,tomorrows, onions and some were even missing sauces so we went back and got a refund (NOT FULL REFUND). If the employees were doing their job properly and not making around like l saw them throwing stuff at each others this wouldn't happen.

I must say I was very impressed with the staff member Luke that served us. A very kind and gentle young man and made the experience a real happy day for my sis and her friend. Drive thru was an utter failure. 10 minutes stuck and nobody moved. People from back kept reversing and going in to parking area to walk and order inside and me too did the same. Walked in to the store. More delays there. Never experienced such a delay in my entire life from a fast food chain. Also some of the staff were not polite enough to apologize for the delay serving the order.Not going there again.

It is never clean so i always prefer to choose drive through the staff taking your order are okay and have a excessiving wait time for food. The place is mostly crowded with childrens so its really loud and unpleasant to use the sitting area. The coffee staff should be fired as they make one of the most rubbish coffee i ever tasted. You will be better of to have a cup of coffee from The Foodary adjoining.

Their app didn't work! In-store. Waited no food. Showed that I had paid. But because they system didn't work, it didn't give me an order number. I missed out on my order, and time wasted waiting and trying to sort out. So I left and went to McDonald's. Will not be going back!

not good service took too long to take order... I ordered royale in meal, tendercrisp in meal & veggie burger only without mayo. when saw receipt the guy charged for coke only no tendercrisp meal... end by to order again $ pay extra $$$ in veggie burger no cheese... put maayo.... told to put no ice in fanta & coke... put too much ice in fanta... staff need training to follow customer’s instructions...

Always a busy store! The drive through is often packed at night and their employees always keep up with the pace. Only once I was disappointed as one of the employees overcooked my chicken tender and I requested a replaced then I was given a piece that was quite literally raw. The chicken was so raw it was nibbling at my hairs. Definitely wasn't happy about the so called "chefs" working that shift

I don't understand this whole not displaying a menu trend. I don't want to stand there for 5 minutes while a tv screen cycles through a partial menu.. whatever uni graduate thought up this idea can go back to uni and try again please. Also calling out order numbers when you didn't give me a number seemed really pointless.

More then an hour for a delivery, food is a cold mess. Felt sorry for the uber driver who waited for an hour for this delivery. The phone number for the store is wrong. It's for Ballarat and a mobile number. I wouldn't even give 1 star but no options for 0 stars.

I ordered a rebel whopper which is a vegan burger. After I got my order the burger consisted of only a patty, some mayo and bread. No lettuce,tomato,onion or cheese at all. I am almost sure that it wasn't even vegan and it was just meat. it is very possible that due to their poor customer service I was fed beef even though I am vegetarian. Very disappointed.

Horrible fried chicken burger ever. I got a fried chicken burger yesterday evening 25/02/22, the usual unfriendly hostile staff and make it even more worse the burger was not cooked and I threw it in the bin, what a waste of time and money, this place should be reported and closed down. I think this place is great. Of course the kids, even the adult mess up, but surely that’s expected from a brand new place. They are polite, friendly, and much more, which most would agree is something that doesn’t happen everywhere, and even if there is a mix up, they’re always sure to be polite and apologise. Keep up the good work, guys!

Asked what the toy was in the kids meal and guy taking order in drive through said he didn't know. Son only chose kids meal because he likes to get the toy. There was no toy in the box. Went through drive through again to be told they didn't have any toys. They should know this. They offered nothing for a replacement.

1) Service may vary but during the evening time for us in the last 4 visits it was damm slow. 2) Ordered Iced chocolate and reviewed cold milk with a few drops of chocolate 3) Instead of veggie patty burger we received Veggie Whopper and was cold too (3 times). Very bad , I ordered 20 pieces of chicken nuggets meal(small) and my chips come in this size. I have no idea if you guys are among closing but I also just finished a whole day of work , just wanna treat myself with snacks , and this is what I get in return. Poor customer service and rotten food !

We ordered using uber eats, the delivery turned up with no food .... How do you get that wrong??? Uber eats then refunded us so we ordered again and this time they sent the food that didn't show up the first time and no drinks. Food was cold and burgers had no lettuce inside... so disappointed!

Good option for quick and halal food. If you go via drive through staff do not give you receipt I asked couple of times and was replied they have run out of paper where as the same day I went inside the store was provided receipt. Also drive through people should provide serviettes in bags.

Just visited the place at 9.15 pm 31 Aug. Worst experience, drive through delay waiting for someone to take your order was 9 min and the what was ordered wasn't available when we reached the payment windows. Another 8 min wait at the pickup window. Ended up with some soggy chicken popcorn.

Terrible service, added bacon to my order when I asked not to. I’m a Muslim and have never even seen bacon in my life, let alone touch it. Manager was very disrespectful and instead of admiting his mistake, he kept making it my fault.

Not overly busy but took 25 minutes to get through drive thru for a large meal. Waited 10 minutes in park. When staff eventually came with some food they had the wrong order but didn't actually know what we had ordered as it wasn't on their screen. Would give 0 stars if possible.

Some members are very rude and some polite. Islander girl has attitude and hygiene wise some of them are terrible. The drive is a big nightmare. I would have thought someone with half a brain would have worked it out the design is absolutely terrible.

Really, really slow service in the drive through. By the time I got my frozen cokes they were half melted. It wasn't that busy. Don't know why it was so slow. If food is not ready for a car send them to the waiting bay.
