I have been here exactly 6 times in the last 6 months. I am usually buying a takeaway dinner for my large family, so I am buying a mixture of burgers and sides around the total value of $70 to $80. Unfortunately, 3 times out of the 6, items were missed in my order. One time it was missing the nuggets in a Hunger Tamers box, another it was missing a burger and a serving of fries. Although I take every opportunity to check I have everything, it can be difficult when the server is busy and there are people standing behind you. Also, unless you have a list in your hand, it’s hard to check off that you have everything exactly. I did call the restaurant once I got home and realised, and they offered to make good one my missing items on my next visit. This did happen. On the second time I called but the phone would not pick up. I informed the server what happened on my next visit and they just gave the missing item based on my word. My last visit was a smaller order for 3 people and they got everything correct. I wonder if they will ever make a mistake in my favour if I make another big order? Hasn’t happened yet ever.

One star is to much Matt the manager can not explain why the chicken fillet is tough and cold you could use for a football, disgusting. Double whopper Well where do we start the end of a tomato most of us would put in the bin, but that was only piece tomato on burger, beef patties cold and like rubber bit into could not swallow if I did I knew I would vomit. Chips cold rock hard, you know when you keep chips two days old, well that's what I got. Matt says takes 9 mins to cook a chicken fillet got my meal within 15 seconds. Asked why he says nine minutes and yet got within 15 seconds. No real answer his customer service skills are atrocious Your a bad manager Matt and do not care on stale food and failing to look after the label of Hungry Jack's. Appalling Attitude Matt

I went to this branch to get my breakfast. It took longer than usual to get my food. I was impatient and I was going to have some serious words with the manager. Finally, one of staff members brought my meal and before I say anything she said to me that she understands I was waiting for long time and she explained that they are short staffed. She was very nice and talking to me with smile. I’m a business owner and I know the value of this staff member especially at these days. Mia, the teenage girl who served me deserves to be a role model for the others. I wish I had some staff like her to treat and serves my customers in a manner like that. I believe her manager should award her.

While I appreciate the convenience of having a Hungry Jack's in Eltham, I have to say that I was a bit disappointed with the taste of the burgers and it's presentation in box!. In comparison to other branches, the burgers at this location just didn't quite hit the spot for me. While they were still decent, they lacked the same level of flavor, quality and suase that I've come to expect from Hungry Jack's. That being said, the service was still great and the tables were reasonable clean. Overall, while I wouldn't necessarily go out of my way to eat here again, it's still a decent option if you're in the area and looking for a quick bite to eat.

Always stuff up the orders Not long ago ordered an Aussie burger and received kind of like a whopper but who knows what the thought process was, this time ordered an ultimate double whopper and got two parties, cheese, angry onions, jalapenos and some lettuce, can't for the life of me figure out what the thought process behind this one was, you go to hungry jacks else where and they smash out really good burgers, this joint on the other hand seems to play pick and mix making their own burgers up, and for the price of 18$ for a meal they are the most expensive of the lot which is alright when it's done properly but when there's that much competition out there and this is the result..... I'd be worried

I have visited this store dozens of times, and it continues to disappoint again and again. Every time we order using the Hungry Jacks app, the restaurant never ‘receives’ our order even though we had submitted it. Each time, upon arriving the the restaurant, we are told to wait for them to prepare our food, which many times arrives after others peoples food despite us ordering it in advanced. On one occasion, the staff forgot about our order and we had to go inside the shop and order again. Avoid this Hungry Jacks at all costs, and instead order from one of the many other fast food stores in the area, or support local restaurants and businesses

My husband and I have been out all day and decided last minute to go through the drive through as we passed. We ordered and then moved around the corner but stopped behind 2 cars waiting. We didn’t even make it as far as the pay window and turned our car off while waiting. After sitting for 15 minutes with no movement of the cars in front, we could see staff inside dancing around. We had enough of waiting and reversed our way out of the drive through line. It wasn’t busy inside either because the car park was empty. I’m guessing there was no management or supervisors on, weird for 8:30pm on a Thursday night.

Ordered online a classic jack fried chicken hunger tamer $16.90 was told sorry you can have chicken royal instead worth $3 instead the $8.95 burger and no chicken nuggets u want medium chips $2 no what I really want after waiting with one car in front for over 15 mins is my order they did give me extra chips which were stone cold ! Gross won’t be back worst takeout in Eltham Wouldn’t mind the wait if the food was good ! Also the other day I got breakfast they didn’t put bacon in the wrap when I rang they said whoops we must of forgot not good enough !!

Very poor customer service!!!! We rarely ever have hungry jacks and today's experience has made me not want to spend another dollar at hungry jacks ever again! Thanks to the very rude, impatient, unhelpful girl (her name is Octavia) that took our order today at the Eltham Hungry Jacks. We were spoken to in a condescending manner and were made to feel like we were annoying her in the way she replied to our order via drive thru (even though they weren't even busy, no cars in front or behind us and also no customers in store, yet she was trying to rush our order) when you train your staff, please teach them some manners!

If l could give 0 l would. Ordered food at drive through for the first time as we rarely have junk. The person taking my order handled the money with gloves on, then with the same gloves which she had handled money with, given back change, still with the same gloves on handled our food. Discussing!!! Did mention to throw the food l"d order out and replace it with fresh food. They apologised and replaced it. BUT what what else is going on there. Definitely not following food handling and health procedures. Will be contacting the health department. And l will never go back there again.

Enjoyed my breakfast here 2nd time in a row. Took my family for another breakfast treat here at Eltham Hungry Jacks. The gentleman that served us was friendly and was helpful even with our shake app deals and breakky deals. For roughly $12 we had 2 lovely hash browns and 2x bacon egg muffins, pancake, a wrap and 2x coffees! That’s value right there for 4 people. The place was clean and warm although the heater had issues and turned into freezing aircon later. Last time we came there was some enjoyable retro music too. All in all quite enjoyed our morning here.

On my recent visit to this ferel eatery, I reminded myself as to why this the will be my last visit to hungry jacks Eltham. The restaurant and dining room facilities were dirty and poorly maintained with bins overflowing and toilets dirty. The staff were rude and inpatient. The food took over 15mins to be prepared and frankly tasted awful. This was an unacceptable experience. To conclude, my advice to anyone stopping off at this fast food joint would be to continued 1 minute further down the road to McDonalds Eltham for something acctually half tasty.

We always do shake and win when driving past this hungry jacks. Yes we often have to wait in the parking lot for it to come out. But guess what, everytime it's freshly cooked. I don't mind waiting 5 minutes for this. Never once is the food not fresh. Other hungry jacks stores have been terrible with stale awful chips and nuggets. Eltham hungry jacks you are a 5 star store. Highly recommend.

It's simple. The burgers really are better here. They really need to get it together on counter service though. Drive through is obviously prioritised, so you're standing around for ages waiting. In a pretty dirty dining area. Just about every table was dirty, and the floor hadn't been swept for some time. And don't bag up a dozen serves of fries and let them go cold - scoop them up fresh and hot each time, it's not that hard. Not as good as it used to be.

The classic. I don't really write negative reviews... but, here we are. Jack of hungry jacks would be disappointed. I don't know who the people are that have abducted him from the eltham restaurant are but, they should be a little bit upset with themselves. I'm not angry, just disappointed. I try keep the faith and return to the house of Jack in Eltham. My order is constantly messed up. If I ask for cheese in my whopper it's generally because I want cheese. Sometimes it's just to sound gross.

I ordered a vegan cheeseburger through drive-thru, but received a double beef cheeseburger with bacon. I called back later to let them know it could have been a big mistake if I actually was a vegan... the guy working on drive-thru preferred to argue that the vegan burger wasn't available anyway (despite the huge poster advertising it in the drive-thru). I didn't care for a refund, just wanted an apology (didn't get one) and for the staff to be more careful. Won't return here again.

Very stingy servings for the money I paid. The large chips were half empty and certainly not enough for the bundle family meal. The advertised posters are misleading and absolutely false advertising. The burgers were also soggy and cold. We were most dissatisfied and disappointed today. I will think twice in returning to your business. I would never recommend you to anyone.

I ordered chicken Royale small meal at Eltham hungry Jack's. 1) The price actually was 4.45$ But they charged me 6.45$. 2) I told the lady to add Peri peri sauce in the burger drive through entrance but she neglected and gave me without adding Peri Peri sauce. 3) The customer service was not satisfactory. Terrible service! Only one staff member was working at the service counter. They kept prioritising the cars at the drive in, then when they eventually got to the counter they served a cab driver who cut in front of our family of four. This place is badly managed with staff who do not care about their customers. Ended up heading to McDonald's where we were served immediately. Really disappointing experience at Eltham HJs!

3 cars in front 2 cars at the back in the drive through today it took 24min to get my food l turned my car of 2 times. No compensation No sorry about delay. When l handed the boy my money $1 fell from his hand on between the car..he just looked at me like well are you going to get it !!!! Disgusting. Don't check their expiration dates. Purchased a Hersey's Cream Pie for my 95 year old Great Grandma and was lucky to have checked before she continued eating, as there was mould growing on the top. Called the store to complain and the manager offered compensation, however I don't care about free food - I care about your staff doing food checks to ensure the health and safety of customers.

Their idea of a grilled chicken burger was one where the patty came out 80% charred. One bite of the burger and I got this real bitter taste from the patty and when I opened up the burger, the meat was almost black. When I tried returning it to the store, the manager said "That is how they all come out". Asked for a refund, which they did give. But surely that cannot be the standard of their burgers!

The WORST fast food place in Eltham and it's not the food it's the service. Never enough staff on and the manager is hopeless. You'll end up waiting 10-15 minutes to even get served and they'll look at you standing at the counter and do nothing. Then be prepared to wait another 20 minutes to get the food. It's pointless

Went to order and was told rudely the item had been removed from menu-voucher deal. by blonde female staff with head set on in the morning. Its OK I ordered something else but the level of rudeness she needs basic customer service training. The food is average but you can be nice and welcoming? Not an ideal location but I would say decent service the drive through operates at a reasonable speed. Inside the store at times it gets a little messy but what can you expect with a fast food restaurant. As a whole I would say hungry jack’s is quite underrated I would recommend it over McDonald’s if you want a burger or chips however the menu isn’t that big still good though.

Very dirty toilets. Waited over 20 minutes for cold fast food. Only 3 staff on at lunchtime, no tables clean. The soap machine in the men's toilets has been broken for weeks. We will not go back.

I only went through the drive through. It was quite a pleasent experience. It was quick enough. Person serving me was friendly and helpful. Unfortunately they didn't have the flavour of the frozen dilnk I wanted. They gave my meal quickly. Hardest part was to get back in the road after that as it is situated in a very busy road. Overall I am happy with the place.

Sunday arvo 3pm, 4th June 17. Bad service, stuffed up order. Wasn't busy, staff having a joke behind counter, gave me the right burger after returning the wrong one, pity it was so average, I didn't expect much but it was underwhelming even with low expectations. I never eat hungry Jack's, and after this I'll be giving it a big miss. Go somewhere else.

I've tried this Hungry Jacks a number of times in the past 5 years hoping that they will turn things around - but sadly nothing has improved. Painfully slow service (in-store and drive thru), substandard food quality and a constantly dirty dining area. Hungry Jacks Bundoora is a far better option.

Tonight marks the third time in a year that we've ordered Hungry Jacks via app and after waiting 2 hours with nothing being delivered have eventually been told we can have a refund that'll take a month to come back to our account. Absolutely appalling customer service, assuming you can call ordering your dinner and getting nothing, a service.

No lettuces at all in the bacon delux burger. I understand lettuces is bit expensive at this time but they should tell to customers before ordering so customer can reconsider the menu. Without lettuces only had tomato in it. Not so different with double cheese burger but paying for bacon delux is... so disappointed.

I only went throught the drive through, it was busy. Lovely staff who were apologetic I tried the new pulled pork burger, quite disappoimted as it certainly didn't look like the advertised photo. Tasted okay, small tho & left me wanting a "real" burger

The burgers used to be BIGGER & TASTIER, now their microwaving the food to warm it up (really lazy way of giving food now!) No more smokey flavoured cooked over a hot flaming grill like the good ole days of serving great tasting fast food...now uts bland & tasteless

They never put enough sauces in the whoppers there dry as & hardly no lettuce or onion. Drive through at dinner time wich is like 3/4 cars max always takes 10min minamum per car. Worst hj's ever. Prefer 2 make the extra trip now to Bundoora. There always fantastic

I usually don’t get an exemplary service in the fast food restaurants but Xavier and the young lady surprised me and my uncle with the level of attentiveness and catering to all our needs. Thank you for making our day. One of many more visits to come. :)

My son got food poisoning after eating a Chicken Royal burger. Food hygiene over there is pretty bad. I have seen employees wearing same food handling gloves when handling food and when at the registers serving customers. Don't buy food from there.

Had a 20 minute wait for 5 jumbo frozen drinks. Disappointing to see new staff (two) left to serve and having people who were in line behind me getting their food well before I did.

I think Hungry Jacks has one of the best pancakes ever. It’s my go to place whenever I crave for pancakes. Never disappoints

It a hungry jacks. Service is slow, always semi dirty - but the food is good if that is your sort of thing. Milkshake machine seems to always be broken hence the two stars

The service used to be ordinary, however in the last year or so the service and quality has improved dramatically. The burgers actually look like those on the images!

It is what it is I like the spider ice cream and slushies drink . The bland over processed food is a constant disappointment. I'd eat it if I had to . Fries are fine
