NEVER, EVER go here. I made an appointment (same day appt) for 2pm. I arrived on time, handed them my paperwork and was told to sit in the waiting area. I did. 45 minutes later I was curious as to why the two patients that arrived to the office after I did where taken back and seen before me. I even spoke to the lady sitting next to me in the waiting area and she informed me that her appointment was for 2:45p so surely I would go in before her.....NOPE they came and got her before me. I went up to the front office clerk and asked her what the hold up was (politely) and she went back and spoke with the doctor. She then informed me that it would be another HOUR, still I waited patiently. I was taken back to the exam room and x-rays of my foot were taken. I sat in the exam room until 4:20pm and still had NOT BEEN SEEN by the doctor. At this point I could not wait any longer because I had to pick up my nephew from school (which I was late for). I walked out of the room and one of the technicians came up to me and said "you're next" I said " I can't wait anymore, I dont understand how a 2oclock appointment turned into a 430 doctor visitation?" It's not like I just walked in I was GIVEN an appointment that day for 2 oclock, which I had to take time off of work to do. I walked back to the front office clerk and asked for a refund of my copay. As I was doing so, the technician I spoke with as I left the exam room went into the other exam room and informed the doctor that I was leaving. The doctor did not come out and apologize, in fact she sounded relieved that I was leaving. I WILL NEVER RETURN, NOR WOULD I RECOMMEND THIS DOCTOR EVER!!!

As a healthcare provider myself, I can say that Dr. Hyde is one of my go-to specialists. I'm a chiropractor with a spine and extremity rehab clinic here in Austin, and I've been referring my knee, shoulder and hip patients to Dr. Hyde for the last 8 years or so, and our patients always love her. Dr. Hyde is conservative (she's not quick to cut), she does excellent work when surgery is the best option (our patients have quick, complication-free recoveries), and she does a fantastic job explaining things for patients (she'll make little drawings that show how your knees & shoulders work, and she uses great analogies to help you understand joints & procedures!) I've been in the operating room with her for several surgeries she's done on my patients, and I can say that she and her team are very skilled, dedicated and professional. Bottom line, if one of my patients needs a surgical consult, Dr. Hyde is top of my list to get us the very best experience and results. Highly recommended. -Daniel P. Bockmann, DC

I've seen Dr. Hyde three times getting my knees assessed, baker's cyst drained and getting cortisone shots. I agree I need my knees replaced or possibly try PRP, but she reminded me of someone who is about to retire and is just worn out. She has a speech memorized that she gives to patients with knee problems. No smiles. Just drones on. Seems a bit irritated if you interrupt her spiel. I would never trust someone who is tired of working to perform surgery on me. Her packet of information is informative, but possibly outdated. I saw all the good reviews and thought she'd be the perfect fit, but I looked at the reviews again and they're all old ones. Nothing at all that is from the last 3 years. So, she was probably wonderful, but I'm afraid I wouldn't trust her with my knees today.

Dr. Hyde was amazing!! She explained the x-rays and even drew pictures while describing what was wrong with me. No other orthopedic doctor ever did that for me or spent that amount of time describing my issues. She also prescribed medication that will help me where the other physicians ignored my pain. All they did was prescribe physical therapy which did not help at all. My husband is now going to see Dr. Hyde for his knees. Would highly recommend her and her staff was extremely polite.

Amazing! I just had shoulder surgery 11 weeks ago and couldn't be happier. Am a complete wimp with pain and it was so much better than expected and you cannot even see the scars! My shoulder is progressively getting better and no longer have to worry about shoulder dislocations. I like the fact she didn't jump immediately to surgery but tried PT first. Would not recommend anyone else apart from her. So thankful I found her!!

Went in to get my knee looked at and Dr.Hydes P.A helped me out. She was extremely thorough explaining what was going on with my knee and answered every question I had. She Went over various treatment options and I left feeling confident that when I return they will be doing the best to ensure I’m taken care of.

I have been seeing Dr. Hyde for many years. With her expertise, I have not had a knee replacement as she provides injections which keep me pain free. I highly recommend her. She is thorough and compassionate.
