Price and food are cheap and reasonable can't really complain, there's also a security guard there, as i have seen people stealing they got caught (why as the place is super cheap) Update: The store has had a do over and things has gone up so check prices Another update: prices are not as cheap as you think as prices got up what seems to be weekly one or to stuff are the same but shop around. Third update: Hopefully last update and this maybe important for those who get a taxi, Due to the new management they don't allow taxis in the car park and if they do enter they will get a fine (£80) which is a little unfair as what if the person is disabled blind etc and don't have enough money to have a home delivery so I think ICELAND may wanna think about this, its not like they are gonna be there for long anyway, just take that into account as you may loose a few customers that way or get a bigger car park.

Unprofessional. Trying to get in touch with the store for the past 2 days, no answer.I was waiting for the order at home and no one even attempted to deliver the groceries, I have received the message that delivery was unsuccessful because no one was at home. My doorbell did not record anyone. This is second day am waiting without shopping I have already paid for and expected to come on the day I have chosen. Customer service couldn’t get in touch with store as well as no one was picking up the phone and all they could do is send email to contact me. Am a working woman am not free 24/7 thats why i schedule the delivery the time it suits me. Still no one tried to contact me. I will definitely make a customer complaint and order from somewhere else from now.

Well it is like any other store but the attraction is reasonably priced items and Free delivery for bonus card holders. No more carrying heavy bags. Most deliveries are on some day. But for late shoppers next day. Only thing is timing slots, if not suitable then customers have to choose between taking it themselves or accept the slot offered. That's ok I guess! However one thing I personally Dislike is some Staff members licking their fingers to open the carrier bags. And some wiping/blowing their nose & continue with handling our Bread, butter n other food items So off putting. Provide them with some wet wipes at least!

My home delivery was booked between 5-7. I had a phone call to say they could no longer do that time and it had to be 7-9. I reluctantly agreed as I need the shopping, I had to cancel going out. I then get a text message a few hours later saying they are running even later, I get no estimated time and I can't call the store as it's closed ! Half and hour later I get another text saying they are now ahead of schedule and my shopping will be delivered by 10pm ! How's that ahead of schedule ! Really bad customer service which I can do nothing about at this time of night !

I like Iceland food but don't enjoy shopping there as the security guard makes you feel uncomfy as he follows you round and watches you like your a major criminal and I'm not the only person who's noticed this as several people have mentioned this when I've shopped in iceland. If he wants to watch people like a hawk then the staff should put him in the office to watch the screens so that he's not making people feel uncomfy.I no he's doing his job but people are suppose to relaxe shopping not have eyes burning in there backs have decided to stop shopping

I shop there nearly everyday. Staff are very friendly and that's only reason to qive 5 star! Too bad there is no more checkouts open when this store is busy as sometimes is veeery very busy. Team liders should have some training done on how to treat their customers as what what I experienced they don't sims to know what you do or at least how to provide good costumes service. Also done online shopping and once my food arrived nearly all defrosted :( other then that I'll still carry on shopping in Iceland because it's still good value for money.

Today the service was terrible,when trying to get out of the shop at the belgrave rd.end the queue was half way back into the shop.till bells had been ringing for ages,only 2 tills open.staff standing around doing nothing and ignoring it,my son went over to one fellow and asked him if he was deaf and not heard it.member of staff said and I quote"im doing this ". Which was absolutely nothing at said time.most shops have a policy where by more than 3/4customers in a queue ,they put staff on the tills to clear it.not Iceland it seems.....

went iceland today whilst paying for my items cashier who stated dont usually work on tills, works in store room. Then was chatting to his colleage about contactless payments and then as i was bagging up my shopping swore really load F*****G Hell on top of his voice. I was with my daughter shocked and lost for words. If it wasnt for the store closing would of asked for manager. That was not a good experience today has put me off shopping at iceland. Iceland is a good supermarket. But one thing that i am giving only 2* is that, When i had visited Iceland, Leicester City Center, there was security guy which was very rude to the customers, thats not only for me, But i seen that the security is very Rude to the customers. They should be polite. Otherwise Iceland is a nice place for shopping, I dont refer to go in leicester city center ICELAND. Good location, nice displayed, easy to found what we need. I dont found tiramisu here which is my favorite. The price of their product are standard. Wasn't waiting so much time at the till queue just ONE thing, please REMOVE the indian woman who really all time having chat with another indian woman who doesnt open the till while she has customer in front of her. Really? Also doesnt greeting the customer. Its hapend twice and wasnt only to me but to entire customer who waits to pay.

The delivery driver couldn't access the car park to my property so instead of ringing to allow him to gain access he just left. The delivery was made a few days later and a bunch of items were missing (not refunded or substituted,just missing ) the store was called and I was supposed to be receiving a call from them to arrange the missing items I paid for to be delivered and they have not called. Iceland you owe me at least 6 items that I have paid for and you have not delivered.

Excellent store for fresh and frozen food plenty choice of variety of food always bargain on many item price wise cheap good value for money they do home delivery also for details ask inside store staff need more training fore customer care some of staff don't know how to deal with customer own small carpark there is a parking charges but if you buy £5 worth goods from store they will refund your parking charges so your parking is free (conditions apply )

This supermarket offers really good value for money. There are a lot of basic meals for one pound which are really very tasty. It's set out well and the checkouts are fairly prompt. Also, on Tuesdays they offer a 10% discount for the over 60's. Although it is not advertised too widely all you have to do is mention that you are over 60 at the checkout (with proof, obviously) and 10% is deducted from your bill. There is no limit to your spend either.

Due to the layout of the freezers, the gangways around the store are not conducive to social distancing. Equally some customers do not try either. However shopping is a necessity, so masks are a must. Online shopping is available, but sometimes items are out of stock. So 'online' is a gamble. That said going out is currently a risk too. That said product choice is good, both for branded & store's own brand. Prices are competitive too.

Nice branch of frozen food and chilled food and other things this is a smaller store in the city centre area I found the till staff wear slow to respond to the big queues that were forming at the front of the store and there was no staff available at the other end of the store there are also tills at that end of the store but there was nobody there to inform of the queues or to ask for assistance when trying to locate a product

Like to say a big thanks to a lad name Amanjit at this Iceland belgrave gate branch he was filling up fridges today I hope I got his name right found me a whole box of feast Did his job perfect been to every Iceland in Leicester over the past 2 months no joy no help Always said non in fridge we have non in back but this lad did his job perfect found me the last remaining box so I took the lot Great stuff.many thanks .

I wouldn't even bother spending your money or your time and effort at this store the store manager needs to step down off his high horse. When reporting issue with store manager no care or compassion and hiding behind store policy's and procedures. I am taking this further to head office hopefully area manager will take person to oneside and teach them customer service and store gets marked down on service

Absolutely appalling ordered items and didn't send them didn't tell me that they was out of stock and when contacting them basically rudely told they're aren't in stock however made no effort to substitute the items Absolutely disgusting rudely said they'll refund then made any excuse not to refund certain things can't do there jobs properly won't be doing anymore on-line orders or going to the shop

Was not happy as I had to struggle getting my big shop home myself as I have mobility health problems and had spent going in almost £200 pounds in store to then be told there's no deliveries do to the drivers mainly doing online deliveries only which is just poor staffing control not happy I'm now thinking about shopping elsewhere after shopping in Iceland for over 10 years !!

December 22nd we did our shopping at Leicester city Center Iceland our delivery time was 10pm to 12am. Unfortunately our delivery driver didn't get to us untill 12.44 am. The lady could not apologise enough and I would just like her to know that no apology is needed and Iceland as a company needs to be rewarding these drivers

Iceland is a lovely place to buy all your frozen food..specialalities always on and a range of brand foods eg..slimming world..greggs..but can be expensive on their prices..but you can have a night in with these foods which are cheaper to buy than going out prices so theres ways around it over all food is lovely

Very Rude till Staff, talking to each other rather then serving customer and when we complain no apology at all, even tho manager don’t bother to listen customer, wrong pricing, Area manager will need to teach them customer service as store gets marked down on service, never shop again from this branch.

Iceland exceeded my expectations with excellent customer service. Uzair (“Uzy”) was really helpful. Despite receiving the wrong prawns, Uzair promptly resolved the issue by sending the correct ones along with a thoughtful addition of chocolates. Their commitment to customer satisfaction is commendable.

I ordered my shopping in store yesterday and didn't recieve it. Rang the store and was spoken to so rude by staff manager was fab and sorted out my order after driver didn't deliver but forged a signature. Store manager great and helpful but staff need more customer service training and phone manner

As compare to before its much better wide and looks extended. It used to be so congested but now it's clean tidy and lots of space for customers to walk around. Another plus point is self service machine easy for all! Thumbs up to admin!!! I do recommend to family members and my friends!

I went in today with a friend and we ticked everything we wanted, iam aware this is nationwide company and use my home Iceland store in Derby and always get quality and good prices, and I find friendly helpful staff. PS I have no connection with this company just a satistfide customer.

I dont like this store, some staff not friendly but one regular security working there is bullying and behave like it is his store and giving free food. I complained about it but sad that the management didnt take it in consideration so I decide never ever go there anymore

Rude customer service assistant named SUNNY. I mistakenly put my money in the coupons slot at the self checkout. He rolled his eyes and muttered and commented that I should read properly. Awful customer service and attitude! He needs re training! Won't bother going again.

Frustrating!!! 2 end isle promotion freezers without any prices at all. Very annoying as I'm sure you will agree we want to know what items are priced at. Should have been noticed by staff. The checkout person was like a robot with zero charismatic personality.

Plenty of good deals available and at a reasonable price. But the service was not that good. Would not give change for the car park so had to buy something just to get change. Also when came to pay they closed the back tills so had to go to the front till.

Only used the town store a few times, found the staff to be helpful, and the queues not to bad considering how busy a store it is ,I asked for help from a member of staff called Ben, never known anyone so helpful , good to see a store with helpful staff.

It was OK, however I prefer the other 2 Iceland's in Leicester. The staff were absolutely miserable and unhelpful. The security guard was just walking around in circles! Wondering what she was there for! Someone asked her for help and she ignored them!

The fact at the lunchtime rush hour and the queue is massive (going up the isle) and there is one person on the till is absolutely shocking and extremely slow. They definitely need more staff working on the tills because one doesn't quite cut it.

Great selection of vegan food. On the other hand the shop is usually understaffed and some staff are unhelpful when trying to find things which I'm not surprised about because the freezer products seem to move around every few weeks for no reason

Such a fantastic food store. Very cheap but good value for the money, very friendly staff, which is a bonus. Only problem is limited produce range such as big brands on certain items, the store can be very busy with many unfriendly customers.

Really like this place. Even with everything going on they keep the shelves stacked. All the workers are friendly. They keep the regulations with the number of people inside and distance, which is really good. It's my number one go to store.

Has every food from meat to fish ,has cat and dog food ,washing powder ,liquid,conditioner , you don't have to go far for your shopping ,worth paying a visit ,also getting ready for Christmas many foods in already Also do delivery.

Shop is great, staff very friendly, but car park payment terminal is often not working, no card accepted, just coins and if it doesn't work you can get fine up to 100 pounds, Iceland please sort this out

Not happy went in store at 9am was told delivery was between 3pm and 5pm then at 5pm got a message saying between 6pm and 7pm couldnt go anywhere today and it's my birthday so all my plans were ruined

Big shopping collection and rate also much affordable. Also its in the city centre as well as near to Hymarket bus station. Evening massive crowd at there.

This is the best branch of Iceland I've been to in Leicester, it stocks everything it has on its website unlike the Narborough Road branch which doesn't.
