I had a knee replacement last August and as part of the Hamilton health sciences knee replacement program, I received eight complementary Physio treatments from this business. They had a list of approved places to use and I selected this one as it was close to home and had good reviews. I’ve never received Physio before so I didn’t know what to expect but it turns out I should’ve realized something was off. The physiotherapist barely touched me throughout the 8 sessions. His assistant Teresa was quite a lovely lady -pleasant, upbeat and obviously trying to keep everyone’s spirits up. However the physiotherapist assigned to me would spend less than a minute on me every session, barely touching me & telling me I needed to work harder to bend my knee. After those eight sessions I required so much additional work from the built-up scar tissue- it cost me over $1000 and months of rehab at a totally different clinic where I got results. I have since had my other knee replaced & have had a totally different experience from Upoer James Physio. This service was completely hands-on, And I’ve only required minimal additional treatment beyond the eight sessions and have seen incredible progress. Thank God they took this place off the list of approved Physio therapist for the HHS knee replacement program. I wish I could recall the therapists name as it’s unfortunate that an experience with one physiotherapist can ruin the reputation of a whole business…

1. I was assigned a physio therapist, but after my initial assessment, she rarely works with me. That is fine if the other PT knows how I am to be treated. Sometimes the other is not sure what specific instructions were given previously. 2. I had to ask for printed exercises with photos-to practice at home. That should automatically be given - with any additional ones added to program. 3. Sanitizer and disposable towels should be near each apparatus. EACH client should be told to wipe down the equipment after each use. Bare pillows should be covered with disposable paper towels for each client. OBVIOUSLY, Hygiene is not a priority here! 5. Each person should be given a copy of their weekly program to be able to check off each exercise when they have done it (like a "tracker"). I like to follow my progress and keep track of what I do at each visit. Overall impression: NOT GREAT. Would not recommend to anyone.

Hi, I am a electronic engineer and I have a lot of physical and weight lifting work. I usually have shoulder and back pain most days. Recently diagnosed with rotator cuff issue and mechanical low back pain. My friend recommended this clinic so I visited. I was impressed with homely feeling and professional approach. I was little worried because of the Covid time but they are very good with following public health guidelines. I saw Denish, and he is an amazing PT. Not only he improve my overall pain he also advised and recommended techniques and strategies to reduce unnecessary loads in joints. I must say he is very smart, professional and knowledgeable. Shockwave therapy was the magic for me. My shoulder and back pain is almost gone (80- 90% better). I am very happy with their services and recommends Innova for shoulder and back treatments.

Last year (I know, I am late with this review...) I saw Srikant Nair several times for a painful knee. I had had complaints for a long time, but because of Covid I was not comfortable to get physio for a year or so. I had been told that it was probably arthritis, but Srikant found that my patella was out of place. He recommended exercises, acupuncture and a temporary knee brace. The problem is now 95% gone, and I can walk and move so much better than before. Srikant also gave me exercises for my one hip that started hurting when I walked more, and provided a link to an excellent stretching video. All in all I am now in so much better shape than I was before! A shout out to Sheila too: she was always helpful, cheerful and pleasant, even at the very end of her day! If I need physiotherapy again, I will be back here.

This place is amazing! Each staff member makes you feel comfortable from the moment you walk in until the moment you leave because they are all attentive and friendly whether you are their client or not. As I've listened to many conversations between staff and client talking about family and such, I understand why clients keep coming back or have been coming for years, they seem to really care about your overall well being. Curt was truly amazing with helping me recover after arthroscopic knee surgery. He took the time to explain certain exercises to help me recover quickly and safely, also to help my other knee to hopefully put off surgery on that one. I would highly recommend Innova to everyone, I promise you will always leave feeling better than when you came in!

I have been coming to this physio clinic for me and my wife after car accident we had a month ago. I was referred by my friend. The staff has been amazing in coordinating our care. Shirlee and Alisha have been a great help in booking our appointments in timely manner. They are very king especially when we were late couple of time. Srikant and Denish both helped me to regain the mobility in neck and shoulder. My wife has returned to work just in 3 weeks after accident. She has better flexibility and can function well. Their active exercise program was very helpful. We could easily follow it at home. I am still under process of recovery but this place has done a fantastic work so far. I strongly suggest to go to this clinic for physio needs! KEEP DOING THE GREAT WORK.

For the past five years Srikant Nair has been my physiotherapist, and I couldn’t be happier! I have a rare genetic disorder called Ehlers Danlos Syndrome, which is rarely known about in the medical community. Srikant has always gone above and beyond to research ways that he can better treat me. This has made a tremendous difference in my life. I was not always believed and understood by other medical professionals, but I have always felt understood and cared for by Srikant. I would recommend him to anyone! The staff at the clinic have become like family to me, and they never fail to make me smile! I’m very grateful for the treatment and care I have received at Innova physio & Sports Rehab!

I had a knee replacement done just 3 weeks before everything was shut down due to the pandemic. I was only able to go to Innova Physio for my assessment and and one appointment for therapy due to the Covid 19 virus and having a suppressed immune system. The therapists at Innova have been very understanding. Since they've been closed Paras, my therapist has been doing videoconferencing with me about my exercises and checking in to see how I'm doing. He also sends me exercises with pictures to continue in my therapy. I am so grateful for the continued support and to know I can reach out to them whenever I need them. I've tried other clinics but Innova is the best!

I have been seeing Kriti now since the beginning of March. I came in after months of immobility and one sided pain coming from my lower back, hips, and even my knee. I am now in my 5th week of physio with Kriti and I feel immeasurably better. I still have a long way to go but Kriti has got me to a place i never thought I would be back at. I am mostly out of pain now but still have some ways until I regain my full mobility and active abilities. She really listens to your needs, sets realistic goals to keep you motivated, and is very knowledgable in body anatomy. I am looking forward to where I will be at week 10 and even week 20.-Roger

I am a 76 year old woman who has various muscular-skeletal problems along with fibromyalgia who has chronic pain. I have been to numerous physiotherapists over the years. I have been treated here for my Knee and Elbow ligaments injury after i had an accident, I was in very bad condition due to this but Physiotherapist (Denish) at this location treated me so well that i recovered fully and return back to work without any difficulties. Innova Physio and Rehab team is for sure great with their physiotherapy treatment and massage therapy. However, I was very impressed by their Covid 19 Screening and the usage of Personal protective equipments-the PPEs. They were effective in maintaining social distancing with appropriate appointments schedules. Before and after the treatment their team made sure that the equipments were cleaned properly and all the surfaces were safe to touch. Glad to see such dedicated staff members at work. Best physiotherapy in Hamilton. I visited this place after my car accident. I was in extreme pain and unable to do normal things. They have helped me overcome some very tough injuries and have a very welcoming atmosphere. Denish and staff made sure that I get proper care and recovery faster. Denish is knowledgeable and professional and makes all his clients feel comfortable. They also assisted me with all forms and paperwork required after a car accident. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PLACE. I've been going to Innova Physio for a many years now to see Srikant Nair, the best physiotherapist in Hamilton. Srikant is very knowledgeable explains the procedure he is carrying out and send you home with exercises to help get you back on track fast. Although I haven't used the other services Innova has to offer the staff is friendly and courteous. Shirley at the front desk is awesome, friendly and always helpful. I would definitely recommend coming here to see Srikant for your physio needs.

After having a bilateral knee replacement I visited Innova Physio for Physio sessions. All of the staff are very friendly, supportive and gave me some tough love, gently pushing me when I needed it, which I appreciate! My recovery was thankfully great and I thank Archi at Innova Physio for pushing me and for being so knowledgeable and supportive. I also appreciate that they have more exercise equipment than some other Physio therapy places. I recommend Innova Physio for physiotherapy.

I have been to Innova Physio and Sports rehab for my achilles tendinitis. The services and client reception I got is amazing. The physiotherapist Paras Patel has in depth knowledge of the condition and the plan he made is simply satisfying. He applied various methods and it has worked out really well on the healing. So If you have any Physio need, this place is highly recommended. I am utterly satisfied with all the services. Again, HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

Srikant is an amazing PT. I had a frozen shoulder and his skill got me back on my feet. His knowledge of the body is astronomical!! A very thorough and no nonsense approach gets the job done. He knows exactly how hard to push you. Some pain is involved with the sessions but he gets results. Friendly and kind. Clinic is in a great location. Reception staff are great. I would call Srikant without hesitation if I need a PT again!! Srikant is the MAN !!!

This is my 3rd.time for physio and they are the only ones that really made any improvement on hip due to an accident not long after my hip surgery. The other 2 l attended did not do any work on me just heated pad and a paper to go home and do exercises. This place is amazing the dr. Tamakiwala , Danish and all his staff are so caring and professional. I recommend this place to anyone that wants sincere help and get back to the road to recovery!

I can’t say enough good things about this place. Srikant himself is an absolute wizard when it comes to fixing your body. I myself have been in a car accident and he has been helping me recover to my former self physically. The difference he has made in my daily has been very substantial. Hands down recommend Innova Physio! I was referred here for heel pain/plantar fasciitis. I tried the usual treatments, bought products and even had expensive custom orthotics made but I was still in so much pain. After about 5 weeks of treatment with Srikant and staff I’m happy to report the pain is almost gone. I always felt welcome and the staff were polite and professional. I had really good experience here. I had ankle sprain on my left foot couple of months ago. I was referred here for physiotherapy treatment. The treatment plan was discussed thoroughly and changed according to my progression and pain. Staff here is helping and easy to approach to and friendly. I followed all the home exercises also and today I am happy that I am able to walk without any pain and any restrictions of motion.

I am very grateful for Kriti (physiotherapy) here. She identified my MSK injuries at the first appointment (De Quervain's and rotator cuff) and provided me with shockwave therapy, ultrasound and a simple list of exercises I could follow. At later follow-ups she addressed other MSK issues that came up (TFL). At every appointment she provided manual therapy. Kriti is kind, compassionate and is an expert at her work!

I go to this clinic to see Ashley Jasinski. She is an Osteopathic Practitioner. She has helped me so much with my back pain and a problem I had in my hand. Every time I go we have great conversations. Ashley is so nice, professional and she explain you everything. I started going with her in June 2022 and I will continue to see her as her treatments work for me. Sherly, the receptionist is a sweet lady too :)

I’ve visited Innova Physio & Sports Rehab several times, due to serve back pain, with most of my visits being when I was in extreme pain. My treatment included physiotherapist, under Denish Tamakuwala. Their experience and professionalism, allowed me to recover much quicker than I expected. Dr. Vallely was able to see me immediately after visiting with Dr. Strumas at McMaster Children's Hospital. He treated my fractured hand gently, and fitted it with a custom-made brace to keep it safe and correctly positioned while healing. He advised me on how to care for my injury, and was very kind and patient. All the staff were friendly, genuinely caring, and accommodating. Highly recommended!

Ashley is amazing at what she does! First time going to an Osteopath and I'm so glad i did! I could barely breath because my back and shoulder muscles were so tight/pulled. On my first visit she released so much of the tension. I only had to see her 3 times to be fully healed! Now whenever I feel I'm starting to get tight/pain I make an appointment to see her. I have visited clinic a few months ago for my upper back pain. During the unfortunate time of pandemic these people have helped me making it easy to get the appointments and providing best care. The way of explaining, attending clients and maintaining their privacy is really very well. Clinic is well maintained and tidy place. Hands on techniques provided by PT is very effective as i got relieved from my condition with very good results.

Nihama was assessing me & Aarchi was the one showing me the different kinds of exercise’s to do. Both ladies were polite & patient with me but knew what they were doing & talking about when it came to my injury/recover. I came to this clinic with severe neck pain to the point I could not turn my head. Thanks to the clinic and guidance, my neck pain alleviated with proper stretches taught to me to do every day. Very friendly Denish a gentleman was who assessed me. He is very caring and easy to talk with and explained very kindly on one the assessment exercises I was not moving my arm correctly. I was diagnosed with sciatica. Denish helped me with his magic hands to cure this long standing problem. He treated me with stretches and exercises. I feel much better now. The staff here is awesome. I found this place more efficient than many other place, the environment here for the patients is much coperative and supportive. I visited the rehab twice and both the time i was much satisfied by the diagnosis. Specially PT Dr. Paras has helped me a lot to cure my ailment. Excellent customer experience! I took my mother-in-law in for a few visits to deal with some shoulder and knee pain. The staff were very kind and patient with her and made us both feel welcomed. I had an accidental injury. My back hurt a lot when I came to see Dr. Tamakuwala. He examined me well and also provided the needed therapy for my back. I spent the last few months visiting Kriti for an ankle injury. She was amazing, giving me a great treatment plan and did an amazing job in-treatment. I’ve come here several times for past injuries and I’m always treated well and the physiotherapists always do an amazing job.

Waited a whole week to get some answers, booked a day off work to be able to accomodate the appointment and I was cancelled on the morning of, very unfortunate they dont have anyone for back up to take the clients that have appointments when the physician becomes unavailable.

I have had two separate reasons to attend Innova Physio for treatment. The staff are very friendly and the clinicians are excellent! It feels like home when I’m under their care. I would recommend this Clinic to family and friends and anyone looking for a positive outcome.

I'm very glad I found this place. Srikant is a very knowledgeable man, fixed the pinched nerve in my neck that was effecting my shoulder function. After about 6 sessions it's as good as new. I highly recommend Srikant, very professional and personal as well.

The staff is incredible and great to work with. I have went to other physiotherapist before and have not had results like I have gotten going to Innova. Srikant Nair is amazing and would recommend this practise to anyone.
