"The exhibit was small but fun"
"A cute little place with really friendly, helpful staff"
"This is a very small museum at downtown San jose"
"Awesome tiny museum"
"Very good SJ MFA students' exhibition when I was there"
The exhibit was small but fun. It was good to see a photograph of the artist at work with actual pieces that were exhibited as well. The interactive room that allowed you to make a painting in the same style was fun too, although the results were rather low retaliation. The other exhibit was fun too. It is strange that they don't charge money.

A cute little place with really friendly, helpful staff. The night I went, it was free and they served food and drinks (also free) so it was a great first time visit. There are two large rooms which had really cool art as well as a smaller exhibit room with more amazing art to be found. It is located close enough to be able to walk to other artsy places, but is slightly out of the way.
This is a very small museum at downtown San jose. Honestly, couldn't relate to the exhibit that was on display. But the museum is free to visit and the staff is very welcoming. Can combine the visit with the quilts and textiles museum next door.

Awesome tiny museum. Just right for a dose of contemporary art any time you're nearby. You can easily go through the whole place in one visit. They recently had an exhibit with works centered on digital surveillance and another with several artists employing printmaking techniques. Looking forward to seeing what they have at my next visit.
Very good SJ MFA students' exhibition when I was there. If you are tight for time, see the ICA and the Museum of Quilts and Textiles nearby and skip the mediocre SJ Museum of Art.

Great art space. This is a highlight in SJ's at scene. Unusual, intriguing art. Well curated and displayed. I'm also curious to go there and check out what they have.
Came around 12 on a Friday. Very quiet; I was the only one there. Amazing art, but I wish the collection was bigger. Also, somewhere to sit might be nice
Initially a quilt museum that now encompasses all forms of fiber art and presents world class shows. Truly a hidden gem in San Jose.
Amazing display of art. The people that come by are also considerate of others' space and the quiet environment.
Jim Campbell's low resolution LED art on display with Jim in attendance. An engineer makes good.
Great visit!!! The exhibit"Clusterfu*k 9" amazing...... All the featured artists......TALENTED
A beautiful place, small but full of quirky, arty, insightful surprises. Highly recommended!
Not a huge museum but nice exhibits on topics. When I went it was bicycles and video games.
