Recently, I had an absolutely horrendous experience with a plumbing service that left me no choice but to leave this review and inform everyone about the terrible service I received. It all started when I discovered a major leak in my bathroom, which required immediate attention. In a state of urgency, I contacted JP Plumbing SEWER & DRAIN they boasted of quick response times and excellent customer service. The first red flag should have been their unprofessional and disinterested tone on the phone, but I decided to give them the benefit of the doubt and scheduled an appointment for the same day. To my dismay, the plumber arrived over two hours late without any explanation or apology. Frustrated, I showed him the leak and expected him to assess the situation and provide a solution. However, instead of being proactive and professional, he seemed indifferent and uninterested in his job. Despite his lackluster attitude, I patiently explained the issue and asked for an estimate of the repair cost. Shockingly, he provided me with a wildly inflated quote that seemed completely unjustified given the nature of the problem. When I questioned the exorbitant price, he became defensive and dismissive, making me feel like I was being taken advantage of. Reluctantly, I agreed to proceed with the repairs, hoping that at least the quality of work would make up for the terrible customer service. Unfortunately, that was not the case. The plumber seemed unskilled and inexperienced, fumbling through the job and making numerous mistakes along the way. To make matters worse, he left a mess behind, with tools and debris scattered all over my bathroom. When I confronted him about the shoddy workmanship and the lack of professionalism, he became defensive once again, refusing to take responsibility for his actions. Disappointed and frustrated, I paid the exorbitant fee, desperate to have the ordeal over with. But my troubles didn't end there. Soon after the plumber left, I discovered that the leak had not been properly fixed and water was still seeping out, causing further damage to my bathroom. At this point, I felt utterly betrayed and taken advantage of.I'm leaving this review here, detailing my horrendous experience and warning others to avoid this plumbing service at all costs. Additionally, I made sure to share my terrible experience on social media platforms, ensuring that everyone in my community was aware of the terrible service I received. In the end, the entire ordeal left me not only with a damaged bathroom but also a feeling of helplessness and frustration. It served as a reminder of the importance of thoroughly researching and vetting service providers before entrusting them with critical tasks.

I needed an emergency repair and JP Plumbing was one of the companies I called for an estimate. I hired him because of his reviews and he gave a competitive rate. Of course the service I received was way below that of most of his reviewers. I gave him the half up front and he started a week later. My mother would call me regularly to complain about how he berated his workers outside of my house. The entire block could hear, it was very embarrassing. He didn't finish the job but wanted me to give him the balance of the money. His reasoning was, that because the job was 90% completed he wanted 100% of the money. He told me to keep $500. I told him when the job is completed he will be paid. He had his secretary calling for a while attempting to threaten about the money but she never said when they would be out to finish my job. Needless to say, it's more than 1 year later and he never completed the job. Never again! In addition DEP was out here a couple of months ago and they said the emergency shut off that he put in is tilted and it shouldn't be, as a result the water is pooling. They said I should ask the plumber who installed it to fix it. How? When he never finished my job. He should lose his license.

Our commercial building had a sprinkler water main feed cracked under the sidewalk. High pressure water was shooting out of the sidewalk joints and flooding our storage warehouse. I cold called JP and he was on site with a crew in one hour. He had the water shut off and started digging down to the busted pipe as soon as he got there. He found the cracked pipe and put a clamp on it so that he could turn the sprinkler system feed back on. At the end of the day he left us in good shape. Our sprinkler system was back on line and we didn't need to call in a fire watch crew. JP came back and made a permanent repair. He replaced a 70 year old lead valve with a new OSY valve and full new piping to our sprinkler system. The work was fully inspected and approved by DEP and NYC. During the whole time of the job JP always returned my calls and kept me notified about his scheduling, the DEP and the roadway permits. Doing street plumbing repairs in NYC is not an easy proposition. You better have somebody experienced who knows their business and knows what the rules are. I'm a facility engineer for 9 storage buildings. My experience with JP was most professional. I highly recommend him for any major plumbing work.

I was my family's home in Astoria and noticed JP and his crewmembers working on a nearby sewage job on 30th avenue - because they were already in the area, I asked them for a quote to see how much it would cost to upgrade our water main. I was so surprised that they gave such a great / competitive price, especially since I just walked up to them without any consultation. So of course i said yes, and they quickly confirmed a time and day and everything was completed that day - very fast! It was excellent service (both customer service and workmanship) and not only did they complete the job quickly, but they worked swiftly and very clean.. I've had instances where workers would act as if they're bulls in a china shop and just knock/break everything that in their path... that is NOT these guys - JP and crew were fantastic and I would definitely recommend them to others.

I had a phenomenal experience with Plumbing Sewer and Drain. Joey was extremely helpful to come out last minute to clean our drains and pipes and even replace a few faulty/broken pieces. After receive a incredibly high quote from another company we reached out to Plumbing Sewer and Drain about the issues we were having with drainage and Joey graciously agreed to come solve the problem the next day (which I would like to note was a Saturday!) and charged us an affordable rate. Besides Joey's awesome availability, affordable and fair pricing, and timely efficient work he is truly a joy to be around having a charm and wit that is incredible nostalgic of old New York.

Unfortunately due to the lack of professionalism and work done I can not recommend this company. The gentleman who claims to be the owner Joey works under another plumbers license number who is named John Bergamino. Joey will never show to the job sight when promised and will take 5 times longer then the estimated time frame on the contract to complete. When questioned Joey will go out of his way to threaten you ( luckily he is 5 foot 6 inches and 265 pounds) so the threats are a waste of time. take the time to ask the right questions and search out other companies to protect yourself.

My yard was flooding during heavy rains. I researched quite a few companies and decided to call Joe JP their service is excellent He was honest, friendly, respectful of our property and very informative. He explained everything he did, asked questions, checked various drain areas and proceeded to repair the issues. He was also efficient and quick. His level of professionalism was high. There was no charge for the estimate and they were able to start work right away. I highly recommend this company. It was a pleasure to do business with them.

I had a 10 day DEP notice for the outside sewer pipe, and began searching for a local and reputable plumbing company. I called JP sewers and inquired about their rates. Scheduled a time to come to my home. They explained what they had to do, Vinny and Joe were here and they got the job done . They were very professional, friendly and neat guys. They kept me very informed on what was going on, gave me a good price with a 10 yr warranty! I have no problem giving them a 5 star rating , because they very well deserve this.

When they fix my water main They install the water meter backward. The DEP fine us over $2000 and require to replace water meter I have got the quote from other plumb for $2500 to replace water meter.
