I was an employee at one of your franchises located at 16860 Vanowen St, Van Nuys, CA 91406 store number 3555 under store manager Magli. Since the beginning of my employment, Mrs. Magli has consistently made me uncomfortable to work due to public displays of humiliation (please see attached picture) that show her unprofessionalism. In addition to making me feel humiliated, she continually disregards my health concerns especially during this COVID-19 pandemic. For example, today (March 29, 2022) I called the store in advance to notify my absence for my upcoming shift 5.5 hours in advance due to my painful headache and blurry vision from an unexpected injury last night. Mrs. Magli proceeded to deny my claims over the phone and strongly suggested to take a “pill” and come into work regardless of my pain. Through her words and action she confirms that my well being and mental health is secondary to her. When I suggested to close the dine due to low staff (there would only be myself and another employee) she stated “I can’t do that.” When I repeated that I could not come in due to my health concerns, she slandered me by stating that I always call off which is not true because I am a good employee who does not recklessly call off for no reason. Since I started I knew I could not call off because she threatens her employees with taking their hours away and proceeded to do so by telling me to not come in for my scheduled shift on Thursday without my consent. Her condescending & patronizing tone prevents other employees and myself to openly speak to her about any work concerns or scheduling requests. This is an unhealthy work environment which poorly represents your franchise. This place is unprofessional ruined by a narcissistic woman. I feel terrible for her employees that deal with slavery. I don’t recommend a job here at this location or any that has usood as management. They don’t care about your feelings r well being.

They just aren't as fast as a McD's during lunch from work. I can't stay in line 20 mins. I need to be able to go at lunch and know i'm getting our of a FAST FOOD LINE within 20 mins. you know people are coming, so figure out how to be faster like mcds. I will go when i have time to wait in line, but not when i'm rushing at lunch. Made me grow more gray hairs then i needed. i need quick service since my lunch is quick. do what they did when i worked at jack in the box. someone taking long for an order to fulfill because THEY went thru drive thru when they should have gone inside, or last minute orders at the window? i tell them park in front and I WILL bring everything to them. NEVER an issue. and it makes your customers behind them even HAPPIER! 20 or 30 burgers during lunch hour drive thru, just isn't what you should do it, so work around those customers. that would make your customer happy Edit after response from JITB: i posted on the aforementioned website. We'll see if i get a response. The only company that has taken action of their bad review so far. Compared to the rest of my comments, I will definitely go back to see if service has improved.

Very bad service, from the manager and they insulted us and and didn’t help us with a solution just because we were asking for the money back, because they didn't have an item for which I paid, for it seems unfair to me that they mistreat us due to their mistake. and to top it off, they gave me my order wrong. I strictly asked for no onions in my items, and I received a lot of onions in my item.I feel like they should pay more attention to the details, especially from the mobile orders since they couldn’t help me out with any solution. and besides that I got my order cold I ordered a fajita and the bread was really crunchy which I assume is supposed to be soft. My missing item was supposed to be discontinued but that’s why I asked for my refund which was 2.20 very bad service..

Absolute worst Jack in the box in the San Fernando valley. Go to the Reseda one instead. The owner of this Jack in the box is extremely greedy and cheap. The prices are often not right, BAIT AND SWITCH. Make sure you compare your receipt to the prices posted on the menu in the store. They never have enough employees working so your order takes like a half hour. It's not that the staff is slow, it's that the greedy owner doesn't staff the restaurant properly so they can maximize profits for themselves. They give you the bare minimum dipping sauces. All the other Jack in the boxes in the valley will give you an extra sauce for your food without demanding 25 cents. One of the worst Jack in the boxes with one of the most greedy, cheap owners I have ever stepped foot in.

I had a lot of bad experiences at this place. Mostly is the bad attitude. And to make it worst it comes from the managers. I have 9 years of fast food experience. Work my way to manager. I also worked for jack in the box in Ventura county area. The staff at this place needs training giving food uncooked, and the presentations of the food is horrible. I honestly can write you a book about my experiences at this place. But overall today I had, a some what good experience. They have this girl, I forgot her name she's was doing drive thru today. She has the best customer service , very professional. I will hire her if she comes to my job.. But here comes the "BUT" I got the wrong order. To make worst the store manager handed out to her. I know we all make mistakes, but cmon. They need a new manager asap.

I came through the drive through and ordered 20 piece chicken mcnugget and was offered 3 BBQ sauce.I ask how many nuggets come with 10 piece chicken and was told 2 sauce.I said well im suppose to be offered 4 BBQ sauce.I Received no response and I wanted and said hello and still no response. I then waited and pull up to the drive through window and by the way im a priest in clergy uniform.I said why u didn't respond to my question.I was told by what looks to be the manager to get out of here.I said what and he repeated Get out of here and he close the window in my face.Now of course made a note in my phone that in the morning not only am I going to call the store manager and the general manager but im going click on trump campaign and show my support cause it seem someone has forgot where they are .

The food was fresh and hot. The worker that took my order was ok. Had to ask them to clean the table so we could eat due to all of the tables was dirty. After the worker clean our tables she when to clean the rest of the tables and throw a custom that when to the rest room drink in the trash. So have someone watch your drinks and food if you have to go to the restroom. The woman restroom was dirty with tolet paper and urine all over the floor. Found that out as i when to the restroom before leaving. I hope the worker wash there hands after using the restroom And they don't just use the restroom and then go mess or cook food with washing there hands.

I go here a lot because it is close, usually I use the drive thru. The most annoying problem I get here is the wrong order. Just today I ordered a #12 medium combo and got small fries and the wrong sandwich, I was in a rush and was already far gone when I found out. It gets annoying to pay for something and not receive it, the food is always good, when you get what you order. Yes the service is fast, maybe too fast if they mess up orders so much. I also had a drink spilled on me because I was handed it by someone who decided not to close the lid well. It was an accident, but I still wasted time having to clean my car and get a change of clothes.

I tried to come in person at 6:30pm to order some food because I live right next door to this location. The doors were locked but the hours posted on the door said the dining room was open until 10pm. I knocked on the door and was stared at by two different employees but no one came over to communicate with me. I would’ve been fine with someone telling me the dining was closed but the blatantly disregard me as a customer was very upsetting. This location hasn’t always been the friendliest but I keep trying to give them the benefit of the doubt. It’s a shame I have to find another restaurant to spend my money.

Again, this jack n the box on Mason St. In Chatsworth Ca. Has not gotten there act together! I work doing food deliveries and accepted a order, took my time to get there and they have not even begun to prep my customers order that I accepted!! The time on the monitor had 10:00 minutes plus and counting. The manager has no Idea what she is doing and told me personally that "I have no idea when your customers order will be done." Please Corporate help these ppl out! This is a unprofessional response to the consumers in general! Btw there was only 4 cars in the drive thru.

Bought another man a meal since his humbleness spoke volumes. I'm not doing good myself but thank God this place accepts EBT. Its a blessing to a lot of us who are being challenged in the struggle so why not share it with another brother who thanked me by kneeling down in the middle of the parking lot which I told him not to as I knelt down with him but he just got here from El Salvador and hasn't ate til that day. I have a lot to say about this place. I went and I ordered some stuff jalapenos they told me they don't have the item available since they were cleaning the fryer I said is there any other fryer they can use. They had a bad attitude they said no the only thing I could order was three items after menu which was burgers without fries. That was very upset now when it came to ordering from the app same thing they always have missing stuff from their menu. I would rather drive miles to another Jack in the box then order from this place

Notice how nobody ever gets on here to give any good reviews ... only the bitter people that you wouldn't want to have to serve, when just trying to get through your day in the restaurant industry. Customers are as unhappy with service when they are unhappy with their lives. This Jack is the best always fast service if your complaining about dirty tables look at the high school directly across the street. Stop complaining about everything people make mistakes and it's not a big deal if it is you deserve it.

jack in the box ive noticed with time is great, the breakfast(which is all day) is better than other places. midnight munchie meals(chicken tator if your lookong for a calorie blast).The service never had any issues. prices are good. Really good options.i recently got the Oreo real icecream shake and its way under rated, id say its close second to sonics which is amazing something like that could come from fast food joint. other places usually have more basic, less creative food and less quanity.

It's a typical fast food experience, but the staff is kind and efficient when they get to ya. I'm new to California and I've been getting familiar with the menu, they make a mean breakfast!

When did the burritos become so small. I ordered the grande breakfast burrito and it's so tiny. All the other locations I goto make them bigger. Maybe because it's 4 o'clock in the morning they're being lazy. Absolutely the worst!! I'm really flabbergasted by the way "mike" acted. He's a bigger guy that claims he's manager..2am and I said normal and he snapped and said we don't have normal. Sucked his teeth and said uhhh. And since you don't know I'm not going to take your order and then called the cops allegedly and said I was a drunk driver. He needs to be relieved of his job and he shouldn't work with anyone. His actions are reprimanded.

They changed the meat to the buttery jack , the food doesn't taste the same, the bun was also burnt... the tacos had to go back cause they for to give me the other 2. The soda was filled to the top with ice so you hardly get any soda..... and last the dining area was dirty and a mess.... table and chairs were all peeled and scratched from the teens. This location is weird... The food is typically good, better than most Jack"s. I gave one star for the simple fact they have the rudest people at the drive through. It not just one they are all a bit of a douche. It's almost like now they make $16 an hour they feel they're too good to speak respectfully and courteously to people that eat at Jack in the box. You all need to work on that.

In my opinion it's better than McDonald but not by much. I love there breakfast meals and deals. Its basically your typical fast food joint but they still have some great items on their menu.

The Curly fries were dry shredded potato noodles half moon..there was a spill. Of soda in the eating area not addressed by the manager wile on her watch I brought it to the Attention's of the cashmere on the danger of slip and fall liability responsibility they ignored it over20 minutes I left the place. Reason the burger substituted with matchup no tomatoes as requested..

It's totally fine for a JITB. RN, due to the pandemic, they have pretty good measures in place that made me feel safe in there. This is the new normal so everyone really needs to get used to this and expect that the places we patron, better be clean and follow common sense safety measures. This Jack did. I just got a shake, but that was awesome!

It's your basic jack in the box meals so Nothing to complain. Service was great at the time I went. I'm a bit sad that the chicken tenders are gone from the menu (now there's strips - too much breading for my taste), so sticking to my other favorite which is the extreme sausage breakfast combo lol. I enjoy breakfast sandwiches at all times of the day.

This place has 24-hour service and when I pass at 2:30 a.m. they told me that they had it closed during service hours and today I pass one more time and it takes 20 minutes to get an order each time, the service is very bad. they offer at night

This was my first visit to this location. I ordered tacos and a drink. It was a cold wet rainy day. The tacos were excellent!! Very tasty. The cashier was very kind and went out of her way to help. I will be back to this location. Great food!

Out of coke in the middle of the day. One multi-drink soda machine. But they were fast at the food. You must ask for napkins, ketchup and hot sauce big drawback.

Drive thru worker was refusing to give us our drinks and she kinda seemed in a bad mood she was working the shift at 8:41 on January 15th.

The server at the drive though did an exceptional job. He was polite and obviously cared. The food was prepared fresh and was excellent.
