Janakpuri east metro station has wheelchair accessibility but at the entrance near ramp people park their vehicles and block that area to enter towards ramp. Metro station authorities should take care of this issue also as I have faced this problem many times. My son is on wheelchair and I live near janakpuri east . One more thing entry towards ramp from the main road should have a small ramp like access to main ramp and lift .

Parking space is available at station and one can easily park vehicle and ride Metro. But the parking is situated around 100 meters away from the main station building. Lots of vendors and hawkers outside station keeps the station surroundings very very dirty Ample number of Token Vending machines are installed at station to buy tokens. Janakpuri east is a name.of metro station but the nearby area is called old Mahavir Nagar and Ganesh Nagar. The place is famous of hardware and sanitary equipments, bathroom faucets and tiles. You can get all your construction requirements fulfilled in this area and relatively cheaper price

Good station, That's very easy to navigate here. There are only three exit gates ( gate number 1 on one side and gate number 2&3 on the another side) and one public restroom on the gate no 1 side near the traffic red light signal. Parking facility is also available near this metro station.

A busy metro station, and there's a hardware market on this road so own should be careful while crossing the road , if required. Also just for knowledge , there's a police station nearby. So if the news arise one can easily approach the policemen for help/ complaints.

Been my go to metro station for years now. On the blue line and as with the blue line, there is free wifi in the metro station and less crowded than the janakpuri west metro station hence prefer this one. There is hira sweets right underneath which an added bonus.

Nice area one side you will find village area just before entering main janakpuri and one side you will find market where you can by sanitary , bathroom tiles extra extra and also mahaveer nagar and Ganesh Nagar is just behind the market

Nice metro station, near to district centre, a place full of local market, hawkers, business place(dc), almost all repair work related to electronics is available here and all clothes brands are there

It's a good place... Very well maintained. But no toilets. The staff is co-operative... Overall experience is good.... There are many interconnecting transport available.
