Desde luego una vez que pruebas sus estilos y sus maneras , ya no imaginarás que nadie más pueda ser quien te corte el pelo..Particularmente he estado en su salón y tiene exquisito gusto no sólo para ejercer su profesión con una maestría que yo diría maravillosa sino para hacer de su lugar de trabajo un rincón con encanto en el que los sentidos resultan agasajados todos . El lugar es muy bonito y su trabajo es inmejorable. Yo os animo a ir porque una vez que lo probéis me vais a comprender perfectamente y , seguro,os pasará como a mi: ya no imaginareis que nadie mas pueda ser vuestro peluquero. If you are looking for a great team of hair care professionals, associated with very incredible decoration and a great playlist: this is the place! The first time I had my hair done by Jay it was back in 2009... I moved to other places in Spain and I remember coming from Madrid to Barcelona just to have my hair done by him. So, yes - I do love the way he works. He's the best! I usually relax my hair with him, but some months ago I had my first hair colour experience... He did an amazing job not only choosing the best color for me, but during every step of the process. On that day, they had another girl coloring her hair, she had part of her hair blue, but she wanted to come back to her natural color, and I could see how detailed they were in mixing colors, choosing the best one for each part of her hair, to make sure that the final color was even and perfectly done. I was really impressed with the conversation and care of the team with her case. Besides the hairstylist part, I'm a big fan of the music background. It doesn't matter the music decade, they always nailed with the best playlist!

I came to this salon for the 1st time because I had been unable to see my usual stylist, where I have been going for years to have blonde balayage and have the roots coloured in between. I asked for the grey hair at the roots to be covered. It was suggested that I have a caramel toner added also. I said okay. My hair is now brown. Not caramel. Brown. And it’s a reddy brown which isn’t even a particularly nice shade. I’ve been blonde for 30 years. It’s very strange to me that a salon would be so presumptuous to make my hair a totally different colour when they didn’t ask me and don’t know me at all. I’ve washed it 6 times already and it’s barely lifted, as I was told it would when I questioned why it was so dark. When I get back from vacation I will have to go back to my usual salon and have balayage to fix it. It was only done 2 months ago and I usually wait 6 months between doing blonde to avoid too much hair damage. I hate to leave a bad review but I wouldn’t advise anyone to go to this salon.

Today was my first time at Jay Walker English Salon. A wonderful experience from the moment I walked in, high quality service, run by beautiful humans. Stella took the time to understand how I wanted my hair cut which helped me feel very comfortable (this is significant). She cut my hair with attention and care. The result was much better than expected. This is the second time in my adult life that I like my hair immediately after it was cut. It looked even better after it air dried (Stella had put hair product in and knew how to deal with curly hair, another HUGE plus). I highly recommend this place to anyone wanting a haircut. Especially if you have curly or wavy hair, go see this brilliant woman ASAP, you’ll be happy. Thank you so Stella and I’ll for sure see you again next time I am in Barcelona! After years of disappointing hairdresser experiences I finally found a stylist who really understands how to deal with thick unruly hair. He has completely transformed my hair and has always given me excellent recommendations on styling tips and products. From haircuts, colour, keratin and extensions he is a true professional who always makes you feel amazing when you leave the salon. The salon is modern and stylish with a relaxing homely vibe. I have been going to Stella for years and she is the best hair dresser I have ever had, hands down. She makes you feel at home and really listens to how you want your hair cut, I have never had a bad experience with her. Her and Jay are very professional and create a very welcoming environment. They take the COVID precautions very seriously and keep their salon extremely clean and looking great. I always look forward to my next hair cut and to have a bit of craic with Stella - you are no doubt going to have a good experience here!

I'm traveling long term and was in need of some color repair with some pretty washed out too blond color, darker roots, DIY bangs and a heavy hairstyle. Jay was so knowledgeable and open about what he thought I should do about it all. I took all of his advice (There was no pressure to do so. I got the impression that he would roll with whatever decision I made). In the end, my hair looks so much better and I'm very happy with the color and the cut. Highly recommend. As a helpful FYI, he speaks Spanish and English.

I've been getting my hair done by Jay for years now and I wouldn't go anywhere else. I also love the design and feel of the salon. The service Jay and Stella provide is dedicated, professional and fully focused on each client. I have long blonde hair and I get highlights and haircut done by Jay - he gets it right every time. Amazing place! A veces me da desconfianza, cuando todas las reviews son tan positivas. Pero después de cortarme el pelo ahí entendí porque. El lugar me encantó, la música genial y el trato maravilloso. A mi me atendió Stella, me lavó y cortó el cabello y salí feliz. Entendió perfecto lo que quería y me gustó muchísimo el corte. Llegué a Jay Walker con un pelo horrible, después de 10 meses de confinamiento sin contarlo y habiendo perdido la mitad de mi pelo después de mi embarazo. Y Jay hizo magia! Salí con un corte de pelo nuevo para mí, pero totalmente acorde con mi estilo, y sintiéndome fresca como una rosa. Jay has been my hair stylist for the last 3 years and I wouldn’t trust anyone else to take care of my hair. He is great at what he does, understands me perfectly and can pull off anything I ask, and I like changes a lot! Had the best time with Jay getting my hair done! Had a full transformation from very bleached blonde and grown out roots to really healthy, blended out blonde hair and I'm so happy with it. He was really attentive, and I honestly had such a fun day. Made me feel so comfortable, we chatted all day and I can't imagine going to anyone else. Highly recommend!

Jay always do a great job on my cutting, very professionally performed and always with his personal touch which turns out to be perfect. And since I introduced my husband to Stella he also is very happy with his cut. Unfortunately, we are not living in Barcelona anymore but definitely will go for our cuts to Jay when we will back for a visit.

Jay is at his best when you allow him to be creative to make you look great. Trained at Sassoon, he knows how to cut. It’s Jay’s creativity and ability to know who you are that sets him apart. It took him 3 hair cut to fix me up. People, some of whom I didn’t know, started to compliment my hair style after the 2nd visit.

La mejor peluquería a la que he ido! Vi un vídeo que recomendaban esta peluquería y la verdad que fue la mejor decisión. Fui con el pelo largo, con las puntas abiertas, seco, sin brillo y salí de allí con el pelo mejorado, con mucho brillo y como si fuera nuevo. Saben lo que hacen y la verdad que el servicio es de 10.

Tenía muchas expectativas en este salón pero me defraudó completamente tanto en el estilismo pero principalmente en el trato personal, la prepotencia y la falta de tacto por no entender su explicación en inglés, debería tener un poco más de empatía y educación.
