The young staffer is polite, attentive and professional to a T. The Manager knows nothing about customer service, is rude amd full of herself. She is mortally offended if you decline to provide your personal information for their database. I had to drive back (45 minutes) because they gave the wrong size garment from the backroom. They apologized and even though I had my receipt and wanted to exchange the item and leave, the Manageress insisted that I remain while she entered the exchange into her computer she muttered that it was difficult because I was not part of her database...minutes went by and she started whining about how her audit numbers would be off and why I could not simply leave and she sort out her paperwork at her leisure. She finally gave up and crossed out the incorrect size on my receipt and wrote in the correct size and I was allowed to leave. Pathetic. No concept of customer service no concept of courtesy and I asked her to stop detailing her accounting processes and audit challenges because I don't care. She could not understand that. She should go work for an airline that likes to keep customers trapped for even longer.

Awful....staff and the manager are not only rude but hate to say .... have no concept of customer service! I became a loyal customer of Johnston and Murphy because of the prestige product and great customer service I received at one of the US stores 12 visits 9 pairs no issues . This Canadian store location at Mapleview has tarnished J&M experience visited this location 3 times and everytime it was much worse. J &M corporate should definitely do something about the folks they have hired at this location .

Just bought 2 pairs of there Brand shoes. Anna the salesperson was TOP NOTCH SHE REALLY NEW HER STUFF. TOP MARKS FOR PRODUCT KNOWLEDGE. I WILL BE RETURNING. ONLY ONE BAD POINT. NO. DISCOUNT I THOUGHT IN JANUARY YOU SHOULD HAVE AT LEAST 20 PERCENT OFF. IT JANUARY SLOW SALES. THAT UPSET ME SOMEWHAT. GOOD JOB ANNA THIS IS PAPPA JACK FROM GRIMSBY ONTARIO. SIGNING OFF

I just want to say thank you to the manager and staff at the Mapleview Mall location for another great experience. I'm always greeted with a smile and everyone is eager to help. I've been to all the J&M stores in Ontario (and Western New York) and in my opinion the Mapleview Mall location is the cleanest and best merchandised. Keep up the good work!

The staff in this store are completely rude and the customer service is terrible. Left without purchasing anything and will never go back. I've told some of my friends about the experience I had and was told that they also refuse to shop their because of the rudeness from the staff especially the manager. If I select a minus star I would.

The staff were more attentive than the Eaton Centre location and Mark took the time to answer all my questions without any pressure. This is a very pleasant place to shop. For those of you who don't know about J&M shoes, they consistently make great shoes that are more comfortable and last longer than other comparable brands.

We were upset to find out the promise of free alterations was a lie. A few months of owning a piece the stitching came out and was told at the time of purchase minor alterations were covered. When we went back in to get what would be a quick fix, they wouldn't do it. Shame. We won't be shopping there anymore.

The staff, all of them, are fantastic. They are always helpful, they know their trends and fashions. They take the time to explain what clothing items and combinations goes with 'what' and which combinations to avoid. Thank you to the staff at Johnston and Murphy.

Anna and her staff are incredible. The quality of products they sell is undeniable, but the service the team at the Burlington location is committed to delivering is equally as excellent. Thanks for a great customer experience, I will definitely be back!

My absolute favorite men's clothing store. The majority of my wardrobe is from here and will continue to buy from here. The staff are friendly and remember who I am when I return every time.
