I recently bought a house and found Joseph & Sons on google and decided to go with him because of his reviews. He did the plumbing inspection for my house before we bought it. He identified a handful of things that I would have never caught, and further, that the general inspector missed. Becuase of him I was able to get more credits for the house and have continued to use him for the projects. He's now been to my house three times. He's given me great prices every time, talks straight and gives me advice on what I need to focus on and ways to save money. He's extremely knowledgable and teaches classes for unions on plumbing codes (hopefully not misquoting him here, but it came up in conversation). He said he likes teaching, and when asked if I could help and learn, he was more than happy to do so (which is great for a self proclaimed handyman, such as myself). Most of all, he is one of the friendliest tradesman I have come across. He's busy, but if you have the opportunity to get him to do work, from my experience, it will be fast, done right and he will give you honest and good pricing. I plan on using Joseph & Sons for all plumbing needs going forward. I like talking with him, I've learned a lot and am impressed with his work. As a side note, I should mention that before calling Joe I called a handful of plumbers all of which were too busy (some rude) or priced too high. This is my second house. My first house was in Canada and I did a lot of work and hired a lot of tradesmen for various jobs, including plumbers (built a permitted basement suite) which hopefully validates or gives some additional color on this review. And I don't give reviews often, especially this detailed. Cheers, and thanks Joe!

EDIT: Unfortunately after I left my initial review, and paid the bill, things went downhill. Most of the projects were left unfinished, and Joseph repeatedly ghosted us when he had confirmed appointments; he had his employees stay to do work that they clearly weren’t able to do, wasting everyone’s time; he set our schedule back by weeks because of his unreliability and complete inability to communicate his schedule honestly. Also, someone from his team damaged our expensive shower fitting by using the wrong tool on it. In the end we had to let him go with almost nothing fully complete, and are now paying again to have someone else squeeze us in. It’s a massive disappointment because we liked him and pride ourselves on having excellent relationships with all our subcontractors. Leaving this for posterity: Joseph and Sons stepped in at the last minute to complete our tricky bathroom remodel and were friendly, professional, and so knowledgeable. I'm really grateful to them for all their hard work and I'm glad to know our plumbing is finally right. Nothing about our job was easy- it's a small bathroom and we have an in-wall tank, wall hung toilet, and a slightly complicated shower setup, with not a lot of room to run pipes, and they knew just what to do.

Joseph is a life saver. . What a blessing, a gift from God....Just what I needed and wanted..... Joseph is extremely professional, honest, respectful, kind, caring, clean, experienced, intelligent, knowledgeable and a fast worker. He wore booties, gloves and a mask at all times, courteous and genuine, I cannot say enough. He is a breath of fresh air after the nightmare plumbing incidents. .. Covid Summer 2020 we spent $15,000 on plumbing root issues, Summer 2021 $15,000 more on the same problem in the same area, with an expensive manipulating stressful plumbing company. We are not a family with money, we have a 1947 modest home, my fireman father built with other firemen.This plumbing problem felt crazy, it was an emergency and we were scared..We unfortunately were taken advantage of and lied to..I wish I knew Joseph & Sons Plumbing And Drains Inc. before $30,000 went into the wrong dishonest hands.. But grateful I know Joseph now....he will definitely, absolutely, .....be the one we call for any plumbing needs.

Joseph & Son Plumbing renovated our house we just bought. The housing renovations for plumbing included installing a new tankless water heater, new bathroom/kitchen sink faucets, new piping/drainage, installation of shower/bath fixtures, repiping, installing a hot/cold water dispenser for our kitchen sink, and relocating/updating the existing washer/dryer hookups. Joseph was professional, responsive, and provided quality construction work. He provides a variety of solutions that fit your plumbing needs as well as your budget. If I have any plumbing issues in the future, I will definitely give him a call! New Update: We called Joseph out again for our dishwasher installation. The other contractors told us that we have to cut out the floor bcecause the former owner of the house installed new floors over the existing old floor tiles so our new dishwasher couldn't fit. We called him out and he figured it out. We were about to redo our kitchen counters or rip out the floor entirely, somehow he made it work!

I am glad I found Joseph and Sons. We’ve lived in our house for over 33 years and have used our fair share of plumbers. I have not had any of them return. I don’t want to have to call a plumber because first that means I’m dealing with a problem. Then there’s the added stress of finding one that you can trust to do the job right and not overcharge. Now I have no hesitation. I’ve found my forever plumber in Joseph. Joseph was prompt, friendly, knowledgeable, thorough and takes pride in his work. If you want, he takes the time to explain everything and give recommendations. You’ll find this same critique in all his other glowing reviews. Our problem was that we had a clogged kitchen pipe that we found out was filled with grease. He cleaned that out and then he cleaned some of our pipes from the bathroom that had hair. I’m lucky I found Joseph. More than being my plumber, I feel I’ve found a new friend.

Joseph was amazing!! I have had a very busy schedule fixing up my grandmother's house to sell as unfortunately she has passed away. He was flexible with meeting me when I was available. He did a great job checking that the shower drain only had a slight clog and was able to find that everything was an easy fix. Also giving me the best advise on how to follow up in case any other issues were to arise since I know nothing about septic tank care. When I thought I was going to have a huge issue, he was able to put my mind at ease. With his great tools and expertise, he was able to find the exact problem and was able to fix the shower with cost effectiveness in mind. I am grateful he was available and able to help me out in such a stressful time in my life. I will definitely be calling on him in the future with any problems I have in my own home!!!!

First off, communication via text, email, and phone was better than most in this industry and I felt like I was working with a tech company (which I work in) with real time updates when I needed them most. Joseph arrived on time, quickly assessed the situation, talked me through the process and began to work on a completely clogged bathroom unit (shower, toilet, sink). After snaking and using the most recent high tech cameras (two of them) he showed me exactly the issues that brought him to my house. He fixed the clogs and will send over the video feed for a next steps proposal to address the bigger issue with the (older) pipes. Previous plumbers charged significantly more and were very pushy in upselling. I got a very fair price. Hands down, I will absolutely work with Joseph and Sons Plumbing area again!

I bought a fixer-upper house that needed a lot of work. Joseph and his team at Joseph & Sons Plumbing and Drains were invaluable in helping me get the house move-in ready in six weeks. We had all three bathrooms upgraded: new faucets, new shower valve and kit installations, moving some of the plumbing, tile work under one of the toilets. Joseph installed a new tankless water heater, moved and replaced water lines in the kitchen, installed a new kitchen faucet and water filter, and recessed hookups for our washer and dryer. One of his guys even tiled a small area of the floor in our laundry area. Joseph not only helped with plumbing, he contributed to the design of a few of the projects in the house. He was easy to work with, extremely responsive, respectful, and thorough. Highly recommend!

This review is long overdue. Joseph helped us with a leak underneath one of our properties and he went above and beyond. His price was more than fair and he even helped us with the clean up of the water and moisture underneath the property which could have easily cost us thousands if we had hired a water remediation company. He is one of the kindest, most helpful and caring people. He could have easily over quoted us and charged anything because we were in such a desperate place. Not only was he extremely competitive with his pricing, but he came back a few days after fixing the leaks to help us ensure that all the moisture was removed. I woke up on Sunday morning and noticed that there was water on my floor & my bathtub was backed up. Checked guest bathroom & the showered was also backing up. I panicked . It was Sunday & I knew it'd be hard to get someone out. Found this company & spoke to Joe. He came out within a matter of an hour or cleaned up main sewer line explained what happened. He was going to do and took care of my problem fair priced and haven't had an issue since . The service & quality was impeccable!!

Excellent, very experienced, and honest. We have a 100 year old, tricky house in LA and Joseph did an incredible job fixing all our issues, including the ones that popped up along the way! I found Joseph through a recommendation and I feel incredibly lucky I did. The previous plumber got the snake blade stuck in my main sewer pipe and lied to have it pushed to the city sewer, no problem. We had a backup again. Joseph listened to what had happened. He ran the camera, located the blade, and identified the blade on the ground by the sensor. He dug the pipe, cut it, excavated the blade, repaired it, and installed the clean-out. Efficient, quick, and inexpensive. I felt like finding a knight on the white horse.

Joseph and his son are the best!! We had an emergency main line blockage that they came out and fixed immediately. Joseph has also solved our water heater issues and replaced a faulty shower handle. I had a leak under my house this thanksgiving giving weekend and called Joseph & Sons after calling several plumbers , even though he was closed I thought what do I have to lose ? Joseph personally came out the same day and fixed an old pipe under my house and explained everything he did , he was courteous , friendly , reasonably priced , Very knowledge in his trade and most ,important to me Local.

There was a rancid smell underneath my house. Joseph and Andrew showed up when they said they would and were highly polite and courteous. This kind of customer service honestly is just not around these days. Most people are grumpy and hate their jobs, it seems. They fixed a leak underneath my kitchen sink and took care of the smell.
