Great store, great merchandise, good customer service. But the workers are a bunch of children. Then someone ask what shoe you are asking for, you let them know the size you are asking for, then you let them know you are satisfied for what you are buying. I bought the shoes I wanted and got the crepe spray to go with the shoes and I even paid for everything in cash. I get home to wear the shoes and I see only one shoe in the box, the girl should have the sense to go get the other shoe and put it in the box and I had to go back to the store and let them know I want the other shoe because I paid my money for everything I wanted. This was the second time this store did me wrong. The first time, I got my daughter some shoes I even told them the size I wanted for her and I get home the shoes are not even her size. My mom even asked for some shoes she really wanted in her size the girl tells her the shoes don’t come in a half size and guess what it actually does online. I think buying shoes online is better than going in the store, especially this store. I’m not getting anything else from this store anymore I rather go all the way to the queens center mall location they will get me what I am asking for and not playing around. They should be glad I gave them 3 stars because at least they are trying to do their job when they are looking for the shoes you want, but when it comes to getting the shoes you really want to take home they don’t have any sense. NO MORE!

They need to differentiate the difference between men's and women's sizes when it comes to Van's and converse. If you are working for journeys and I come in to ask for a pair of Van's or converse then you should know how to convert the size to women's automatically. I am not aware that these shoes runs big for women. I would not expect the person who was helping me to get an attitude because she had to run back downstairs to bring me another pair of shoes. Previous to this I also happened to purchase a pair of Van's in the same journeys downtown Brooklyn for my daughter to be shipped to California. I specifically emphasized that it was for a woman. I ask for an 8.5 and that's the size that was bought to me. The shoes happens to be too big for my daughter but now she is stuck with them because I sent it to her without a box. Also bought home a pair of Van's that are huge, and when a pair of vans is too big on your feet it doesn't wear well. I hope that they get some specific training on this issue. This is very disappointing.

Don’t use Apple Pay here. I went to this store to use Apple Pay and their system said declined (even though I had the money on my account), but it still charged me $117.41. I figured the charge would fall off but it hasn’t and it has left the status of being a pending transaction to a settled transaction. I tried contacting the store twice since. The first time an employee gave me the number for their headquarters after they claimed not to see any transaction of the amount in their system. Headquarters took my information and said they would email me within 12 hours, but I haven’t gotten an email from them yet. And the second time I called the store no one would help me at all — they literally put the phone down and I heard everything going on for almost 10 minutes. Absolutely infuriating.

I visited this store while I was in vacation in New York, bought a pair of Converse and left. I just opened the box now that I’m back to my country, and what a surprise to discover that they sold me two left shoes. I should have checked before but I didn’t, because I thought that I could trust the young lady that was so nice. Now, I just got off the phone with a lady who’s answer is « I’m so sorry about that » while I was explaining my issue that is : they sold me two left shoes (by the way, one is dirty as it is the display model). I can’t change them because I’m back to France. I suggested sending them back one shoe at my expense, so they can send me the right pair in France, but unfortunately they don't do international shipping. I guess a new pair of shoes is gonna be thrown away…

I shopped at this store over a year ago and had a pleasant experience. Haven't purchased anything out of here since. Last night I was looking a my bank statement and there were 3 Charges from this store all in a matter of minutes. I called my bank to open a investigation. Today I wanted to talk to a manager at the store to let them know incase if it was an employee being dishonest. I called 5 times when the store opened and another 3 times midday. Mo one picked up the phone. I can see if it was busy but to call a store 8 times in one day and no one answered seems a little shady to me.

Came here a few times but never purchased anything due to either the sales reps being to on top of you trying to make a sale or them not paying attention when calling for help. In November 2020 I decided to make a purchase and brought 2 pair of ugg boots. The boots are still in great condition and no complaints.. The store had a few people in it and was alright but one guy had me uncomfortable and I'm not sure if he worked there or was just hanging out but he kept trying to strike a conversation and be near me and my daughter.

Went to this location yesterday with my daughter and fiance. We met a sales associate named Destiny.. she was so nice and helpful we came into buy our 1 year old her first pair of shoes unfortunately they are to big and so today I came to exchange her size but the store seems to have water damage so its closed until it gets fixed obviously. Hopefully it will be taken care of soon and I'll be able to come make the exchange I need. Thanks again Destiny.

The best service we ever had in a shoe store. From the moment you walk in, there is a greeter sho welcomes you. Every staff member acknowledged us and greeted us. Our sales person was so thoughtful and very relaxed. “Don’t worry, we just get you all you need and we will find the one that fits” Don’t write many reviews about stores but this one deserved the mention! @ journeys team , you guys rock!

Just got off the phone with some lady who seemed in a hurry to end the conversation. Saying "oh God" to herself as though I were being a nuisance or holding her up and then quickly ending the call after I said thanks. I was just asking some questions. I was going to go there (first time as it were for that store) but I change my mind. Forget about it.

The staff here are exceptionally helpful. They understand their customers and are willing to go the extra mile to make sure everyone gets what they wanted. I tried to use a coupon at this store once, but was unable to, so the staff patiently helped me get $5 off my purchase with Journeys' text code. I'm happy I went here.

Purchased a couple of items here. Store is great no complaints it is always neat when I walk in there. Sometimes its a hit or miss with employees as far as being friendly and patient while making a decision on what kind of shoe you want to purchase but other then that it's a great store to visit to kill time and browse

Excellent Service, good Shoes for the FAMILY Angel and Angelina are The Best. Good Clean store. They will go above and Beyond to find Your Size. They will Check other Stores and Find the Items You Need. The Staff won't Pressure You to Buy... My Experience was Excellent.

Really lovely and helpful staff, I found exactly what I was looking for. However the sales assistant sold me some socks that she said were great with vans and they're rubbish and don't do the job they're supposed to do (stay on your feet)

Wonderful customer service. Employee Tasnia went through such a hassle to find my shoe size and was able to find the last pair successfully. She is so sweet and kind and I look forward to shopping at this location again.

I went here to get my daughter some vans and when one girl went to get the size my daughter needed another girl told me she hopes I'm not sending her to get them for nothing, extremely unprofessional and rude!

Was blown away by how the employees at the DT Bklyn Journeys were so welcoming and attentive. highly recommend this location if you are in the mkt for a new pair of shoes as the staff is so helpful.

Great place to shop for vans, converses and uggs. There are many other great foot wear to purchase if your not looking for the 3 brands i just listed above. The prices are affordable.

Poor customer service. You guys should have masks available for guests to purchase or complimentary, if you're going to kick them out for not having one.
