Army Stadium Peshawar is an open entertainment and recreational site in Peshawar, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan[2][3]. The stadium was renamed to Karnal Sher Khan Shaheed Stadium in 1999, in the memory of Karnal Sher Khan Shaheed, who was martyred in the Kargil war with India[1]. The stadium has restaurants & take aways, shopping stalls, music stores, amusement parks and gaming facilities. These facilities are now been shifted to adjacent Sher Khan Shaheed Park Complex. Since December 2016, McDonald has also started functioning plus soft launch of Food Court Complex to house Tutti Fruiti, Nan Bar, Peshawari Baithak and Chaman Ice Cream at the moment.[4][5] It is situated in one of Peshawar city's posh locality in close proximity to a number of important buildings and structure. New mega structures are also planned here for generating economic activity in order to enhance social uplift & development and give this historic city a futuristic outlook, the one it deserves in line with other major cities of Pakistan while the present stadium will be right sized.

A good place to visit only on Saturday as it is family day. Still there is no restrictions on the nearby employees of food court restaurants for smoking in the Fun land area which is only for children and families. God knows what happens on rest of the weekdays other than Saturday. The administration takes a hefty amount on entry, yet no people friendly services are available. There is no clean and tidy rest rooms are available, specially for ladies. No prayer area for ladies. Strange rules are also there to surprise you. Like your kids can't bring their soft ball for play. However, they can buy from the guys selling inside the park area. If you want to take a look around the adjacent garrison park then you have to pay again and if you want to come back... yes, pay again. So, the progress is that long time ago we heard about a multi story cineplex to be made in this area... At the end of the day... it seems like the people running this area are good at wasting it.

Good place for Peshawarian and also for other citizens. Its very will for children to play games, walk, running and beautiful ground for crowed. Its very peaceful place and people is very nice. Now days its work start for its modification and beautification. Its situated in the heart of peshawar on main GT road. Its administration staff is very polite and well ethic. The weather of this ground is very good and nice. This ground has all the facilities of life.

Karnal stadium old name is army stadium the people from different corners of Peshawar used to come to this stadium if it is again read developed and brought to its life and the old position is brought to the stadium it would be more than a gift for the people of the Peshawar biggest people used to enjoy their and used to spend their family time with families and the stadium was having a large area and was present in the main centre of Peshawar

Not at all good place for families. Crowd of single men/boys wandering and starring over ladies here due to which families feel extremly uncomfortable whenever they visit.. Though good place for children with male adult family member only. No single men/boys entry must be allowed especially during family days.

Revitalisation Dev of sher Khan shaheed sports & recreational complex Loc at Grand Trunk Road , Sher Khan shaheed stadium was once major recreational hub. After staying abandoned for almost a decade. Its sports ground, structure & facade got decorated and derelict.

A family and friends gathering park, once used to be the most enjoyable place but now it's been occupied and closed by Army. Developed nations take military setups from cities to peripheries but in our case cities are being fluded with military camps.

Once Army stadium was a nice place for fun like children park, restaurants, takeaways and amusement park, but due to law and order situation in the city, it was closed permanently. Only a few commercial activities is going on in this place.

This stadium is famous for sports activities. Most of the common wealth games nation wide is played here. Best location and has good environment for every sport played here.

It is a very wide and beautiful ground. Public is not allowed usually. One can go only if you have a written test or any physical test, otherwise it is not for public.

If you want quality then go to either Shama club or ICMS club in gymkhana. As there are too many clubs there but only these two worth your time.
