My friend and I came in tonight at 9pm and sat down on the bar side (first booth on the right). When we sat down we had to wait 10 minutes before the waitress came to ask us what we wanted to drink. The only reason she came to check on us was because another waitress from another section said "have you checked on them yet". When the waitress came from behind the bar she said “oh sorry I didn’t see you” even tho we were right in front of her. Anyways, we ordered our two drinks and our spinach dip and asked for the bread lightly toasted. When the dip came our bread was so burnt it was dark brown (wish I had taken a picture) we told the waitress it was to well done and asked for it lightly toasted. She took it back and we waited another 6 minutes. When the dip came again it wasn’t cooked at all just the bread covered in oil. At this point we were very upset and felt awful having to send it back again. We had ordered chicken tenders as our main and by the time we had sent the dip back again the tenders had arrived. We ate the tenders and at this point the staff were visibly upset with us for sending it back twice now (dip). The waitresses were pointing at us and obviously taking about us. Two separate cooks had come out to see who the “two girls complaining were” and it was honestly humiliating and I was so uncomfortable. I just wanted to leave but we hadn’t paid so we were forced to sit in awkwardness. At this point it had been another 15 minutes since sending the dip back and it was obviously a stament of them showing their frustrations with us. During this 15 min period we both witnessed staff eating extreme beans behind the bar with fingers in the jars, one staff chugging a corona in the back booth while on shift in her uniform, staff talking about us and laughing, kitchen staff laughing and speaking about us so loudly we could hear it. Finally after all of this one of the cooks (was in black cooks uniform) came out to us and said the bill was covered. I don’t know why he would have covered our entire bill unless he was covering up for his rude and belligerent staff. I think it was his way of saying “hey don’t tell on us” but I don’t care this experience was utterly disgusting and I will be taking this complaint as far as I can. So after speaking to this cook about EVERYTHING that went on he told me the staff member who was actually the hosted for the night (low messy bun, septum piercing) that I witnessed chug a corona at the back booth was underage he kept saying over and over “I don’t believe that, it must have been a Starbucks cup” I’m a 24 year old female with 20/20 vision I know what a corona looks like, what do I get out of lying? (I recorded the entire conversation secretly on my phone and the entire evening because I felt so uncomfortable) I’ll be happy to show anyone. Finally there was a girl at the bar wearing a baggy gray sweater who had long blonde hair and was pretty short she was wearing black platform converse she overheard the conversation we were having with the cook and then as we were leaving she started to yell at us from across the bar trying to fight or something. I’m completely disgusted with what I witnessed tonight and I was ready to call the police because I felt so uncomfortable and unsafe. The staff were acting so confrontational and aggressive I was worried they would follow me out or follow me home. Underage staff drinking while on shift and on the floor and in uniform? Chugging a corona like it’s water? Arguing with customers? Gossiping about customers in-front of them? Trying to start a fight with customers? Is this a family restaurant or a club downtown?

We went out on Father’s Day as family outing. We came early (around 3 p.m.) to avoid waiting. The restaurant was pretty empty. So they were not in rush and not busy with the orders. So… first of all for those who loves the traditional old Kelsey’s: it is not any more. They have renovated and Kelsey’s with its cozy stained glass and brick is no longer there. The new look is less homey and definitely feels more formal and cold. It was a bit of a disappointment, since for our family who are Kelsey’s clients for 20 years the atmosphere was one of the key factors to go there. Well, with a new look we were hoping for good food. But unfortunately we were very disappointed here as well. I ordered Chicken Alfredo and this is very simple dish, nothing exotic. It is very hard to mess up Chicken Alfredo and yet they did: the sauce was NOT Alfredo. Not sure what it was but it was not. Alfredo is milky and creamy, on a thicker side. This was pinkish and watery. The chicken was pure rubber. My mom ordered Thai Pasta with broccoli and shrimp. Well to tell you the truth it was the most tasteless Thai ever. They forgot to put even salt, not mentioning the spices… Broccoli was not steamed enough and my mother could not really eat it. We did not complain about these two dishes, because we simply felt uncomfortable since we HAD to complain about the famous Kelsey’s Fajitas (Fajitas - that is what we always went for for these 20 years). We ordered them for my husband and they brought the chicken and veggies burnt. No, there were not grilled – they were burnt. With a grey cloud of smoke coming from it and a distinct burnt odor. We had to ask to replace (although I never ever do this in restaurants…and I was extremely uncomfortable). But since that was Father’s day – and that Father’s treat, we had to ask. They brought us another portion in about 15 minutes. They were polite about it, I must admit. However unfortunately the second portion was even worse… It was absolutely flavourless: they took peppers and onions and instead of grilling them – they microwaved them. They also did not add any spices or salt. So the chicken (also not properly grilled and pretty rubbery) was sitting on top of a watery mushy microwaved veggies… Kids meals were average, not the best. Service was polite. We regret we went there for Father’s Day. It was a big $$$ and pretty miserable gastronomical experience. Overall : I would not recommend the new Kelsey’s to anyone.

I will definitely start off by saying I will never return to this location. I decided to treat a friend to lunch not too long ago and we chose this location. At first, nobody acknowledged our existence even though they weren't busy. Waitress finally seated us and this is where the horrible horrible service began. The passive, condescending demeanour of this waitress was completely oft putting. My friend had asked a question about an item on the menu and was told to "read the menu". Any time the waitress would leave us and go behind the wall which separated the dining room, we would have not one but two other waitresses look over and snicker. It does not take a genius to understand that clearly the waitress had an issue with us. I do not want to play the ethnicity/race card but we were definitely the only minority in that dining section and she had no issues greeting and checking up on the other customers politely. When we were finished our meals, she was nowhere to be found so I politely called over the other waitress who was dealing with the next table as she was walking away and I was not treated any better. She proceeded to answer me from a good couple feet away instead of walking over with an attitude problem. I told her I need my waitress and she walked off to call her. At this point i just wanted the bill and to get out of there, as I was paying I asked the waitress if there was an issue, and low and behold she played the shocked role like everything was okay. I told her you put me in a very hostile situation that I could not enjoy my meal. We paid and swore off this location and have told our family and friends to never eat there. Get some sensitivity training for your servers so they know how to deal with customers.

It was my first visit with family and it wasn’t a pleasant experience at all. We order adult and kids food and all of it was below average in taste and quality 1/2 pan chicken nachos - it arrived cold and without cheese at first, when complained, we got another pan not much different from the first one.. lots of lettuce, which I generally don’t see on nachos — 4/10 10 sriracha lime wings - 3/10 - the most tasteless wings I’ve ever tasted, very dry and no taste at all. If it wasn’t upto the sriracha seasoning on it (very minimum), it would be difficult to eat it Chicken red sauce Pasta for kids - 5/10 - not upto the mark for taste and arrived almost cold Cheese pizza and fries for kids - 2/10 - hardly any cheese on the pizza, mostly fry bread with some marinara sauce on it. I’d love to eat a Costco cheese slice rather than this. Fries were not crispy and no salt on them Service - 3/10 - only one lady service more than 6 tables and more than 40 mins for our order to arrive and that too, cold. Overall, not happy with my first experience and probably would not return again. Been to some other competitive places nearby and they’re much better for the money you spend..

I am sad to have had such a terrible experience this evening. My girlfriend and I arrived at 8:00 on a Friday night, expecting a regular steak-meal. Nothing spectacular, but certainly not terrible. The service was very lackluster. I would say we weren't treated as valued customers, but we weren't even treated as customers at all. After waiting 15 minutes to order in a fairly empty restaurant, our order was taken by memory. The wait for our food was standard, but we both didn't receive exactly what we had ordered: incorrect side dishes, missing options that were offered to us, and both steaks cooked very rare (we had ordered medium and medium rare). We uncomfortably ate our food (which was just OK, a little under what I'd expect for my money) and were not "checked-up" on to see how our food was until we were done eating. We were served by three different waiters/waitresses, and had a very uncomfortable experience. By the end of the meal, we both were eager to leave. I am not one to usually leave large complaints, but I was genuinely disappointed walking out the door. I felt like I had wasted $70, when I know we would have felt better eating takeout from McDonald's. Sad to say we won't be coming back.

I've been going to Kelseys for years now, but this was the first time at this location. We were a group of 20 and our server was amazing, he was perfect. The only lackluster Part was the food; I found that everything was a little off. It's as if the chef was new you know. The spinach dip chips were a little overcooked, the cookies were undercooked, but sometimes thing like this happen . Our white chocolate lavender cheesecake was fantastic. It does get a bit loud at times. Especially with children and babies. It was also way too sunny, I'd update the blinds if possible.

Very disappointed in service and food. We waited several minutes for someone to notice us standing, waiting to be seated. When we were seen, still no one appeared. This was mid afternoon, more service people than patrons. After being seated we waited several minutes for our server. He came and we gave our drink order. He went to the only other occupied table and stood chatting to them for over 15 minutes about the recent bus crash. I finally had to interrupt, to ask for our drinks. He delivered them and we ordered nachos. My companion had several sips of her drink, then complained to me that it tasted funny. I had the exact same wine and I had no problem with mine, so I asked for a sip of her‘s. As soon as you lean forward into the glass the strong smell of dishwashing cleaner hit your nose. Another five minutes wasted to get waiters attention to have it replaced. Nachos arrived and we were very underwhelmed by the Haphazard way they appeared. Not evenly distributed with cheese edges burnt etc. Will NEVER return. The Kelsey’s in Orleans is 5 star compared to this place.

I stopped in approximately 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday afternoon for dinner. There were roughly four other tables and two people sitting at the bar. Simply put, not a very busy afternoon... And business the three or four servers working should have easily handled. I was greeted approximately 5: 00pm by the server and literally shocked her with my order ready to go. 35 minutes later my dinner arrived...a patty melt - a cold one at that, and an even colder diet Coke. It's also worth noting, the server did not appear the least concerned. Having waited tables for years prior, I understand the challenge a server faces in trying to multi-task and get everything done timely. But in this case, there was no sense of urgency, no apology for the condition of the food, or any question as to why I declined to leave a tip. In situations like this, I'm continually reminded of how Vivian, Julia Roberts' character in "Pretty Woman," responded to the store clerk on Rodeo Drive: "...BIG mistake. BIG. HUGE!" 'nuff said!

I've been going there for several months now, almost every Friday for lunch. I order the goat cheese and beet salad almost every time. This time (Friday, July 14), the chicken was SUPER rubbery and un edible. I'm not one to complain but I felt like I should voice my concern. My server and the bar gentleman were both SO concerned and genuinely sympathetic to my situation. I am very impressed with the service and level of commitment. I was honestly expecting low to no concern but they were both very empathetic and they returned with a new plate. I think the quality of the chicken in general has come down as I still didn't enjoy the taste/texture. But at least they tried, and that is what I appreciated. Good job you guys, I felt listened to and appreciated. And may I add, my meal was on the house and one of my drinks as well. Thank you SO much

July 2022 visit -This was my third visit to Kelsey's Kanata. This time went with my friends since one of them have never been to Kelsey's. Again staff at front were pretty new at this location and took quite a bit of time to decide where we would be seated. Server was nice but seemed overwhelmed . While doing payment we asked her if she can divide the alcohol drinks between 3 people on which she said she can't do that. It was not complicated but seemed like she did not know how to do it. I have been to many restaurants and they all do it. Not impressed. Visited this place again today (16th September, 2022) with my friends. Service was excellent. Food was great. General Manager Mark came few times to check on us. Overall was a nice experience. I would strongly recommend this place.

Worst food I've had at a restaurant. A few years ago I'd been to this location and had the spinach dip; it was what made me want to return. This time we started with the spinach dip. It was gross. It tasted of mayo, and the pita chips appeared to have been reheated. Disappointed, we still had expectations of our main being decent. My fiancé ordered the geeen Thai curry, and I ordered the chicken fried chicken. Everything has the appearance of have been premade and reheated. There was no sauce on his noodles and everything seemed to have been heated from frozen. My chicken was wet, my vegetables were of the frozen variety, and I couldn't take more than one bite of my mashed potatoes. I was actually sad that we ended up coming here. The waitress was shocked to see our barely touched plates. Bad bad bad experience ☹️

This was our first visit and LOVED it. The waiter was probably the friendliest one we ever had anywhere and was very patient. He returned 3 times with a big understanding smile to take our order as we weren't ready - hadn't seen our friend in months so there was lots to talk about). The food was excellent and the wait wasn't too long. I must admit that we cam early for dinner, but still. The place was packed by the time we left. There is plenty of free parking as this location is in a shopping center. The environment is inviting and there is plenty of light. I hate places where you can barely read the menu. We were offered beverage, but not pushed in to buying wine, which is appreciated as I cannot drink because of health issues. No trouble taking my leftovers home either. Great place, really!

Love Kelsey's Kanata. It's clean, the staff is amazing!! Food is always fresh, great portions and prices. Overall fantastic all around. One of my favorite places.

Wings are tasteless, kids menu chicken fingers are tasteless and came out burnt. Had to get new ones ordered for my daughter. Cookies and cream milkshake takes only like straight up cold watery milk, no cookies and cream flavour. Staff were friendly. Second time at this location, first time it wasn’t a great experience either but decided 2 years later maybe it’s different, but no. The south keys Kelsey’s is the only one I’d recommend. They go so far beyond with everything and the food is amazing. This location unfortunately I would strongly not recommend to anyone as far as the food goes. If you are looking for a beer and a game sure, a sit down family dinner go elsewhere.

Whenever we visit Ontario, we always use it as an opportunity to look for a Kelsey's or a Montana's since they are no longer available in Quebec. This particular location in Kanata is up to the usual Kelsey's standards and seems very careful with social distancing as the tables and chairs were safely placed apart. We ordered online and when we arrived to pick up our take-out. everything looked so safe outside that we decided to ask if we could eat on the terrace. The friendly people at Kelsey's let us and even brought us utensils to enjoy our meal. Service was especially friendly and fast. Food was dee-licious as usual. And from what I saw, very safe for this Covid-19 situation. I would not hesitate to recommend this particular Kelsey's restaurant!

The service today was atrocious. Ignored by our waitress and had to ask the hostess twice for her to grab our waitress to come to our table and once I went to the bar to find our waitress. Only came to our table to take our order which was a long wait and then to drop off food. Tried to catch waitress' attention but she wasn't paying attention. Even walked by our table and ignored us while I was trying to get her attention. We all needed more drinks but that never happened as by the time she came back, we wanted to leave. Food was good though. I have been here several times and this is the first time that I have had such an issue here. Hopefully it was just a bad day.

I went there for dinner with two close friends last night. So disappointed. The service was good but the food........terrible. I've eaten at kerseys before so i don't understand how it could have been this bad. My plate was simple chicken tenders with sweet potato fries and the chicken was soggy, almost wet and the fries were dried out almost like they had been frozen too long or something. One of my friends got the chicken Thai bowl and the presentation of the dish looked like 5$ home cooked stir fry. My friend ate it but he said he could make something much better. My other friend got a burger and explained that the quality wasn't good. We are usually pleased and do not like complaining but paying what i paid

My husband and I visited the Kelseys in Kanata after the hockey game for dinner. We had been to this location numerous times in the past and always enjoyed a fantastic meal with excellent service. However on this occasion we were completely dissapointed. My husband ordered the grilled cheese with onions. The toast was burnt so black that he couldn't finish it. I ordered the chicken fried chicken and could not eat the potatoes because they were so cold. Since we had heard stories about what happens when you send food back we decided to chalk it up to a bad experience. That being said, we will certainly think twice before returning to that particular Kelseys, which is too bad as we normally enjoy ourselves.

Their new look will definitely draw more business. The new decor is more brightly to show off the new digs. It's a roadhouse with a very inviting welcome. The service staff were all friendly and attentive. We started off with a Full Plate chili nachos and was split between four guys; we found it was ample amount . I would order again. It was 1/2 price wing night, so we as men, it was our duty to try the wings. The verdict? Hey..it was 1/2 price wings, tasty, but not too meaty. I would to try the wings on another night to compare. The patio is also, nicely decorated. A nice vibe. The old Kelsey, I would go there once a year, but now easily triple that. A big thumbs up, overall.

Went to the patio on a Friday. 7 kids 8 adults (hockey tournament) We were the only group on the patio, and inside was not even half full. We waited 10 minutes to have our drink order taken and another 15 before they brought out the drinks. 10 minutes later they took our food order, and 30 minutes later the adults food showed up. We had been there over an hour and they couldnt kick out grilled cheese and fries in under an hour. One of the adults had fish and chips, the fish was raw. My beef sandwich was a pile of mush. Close to 90 minutes later we were leaving, completely dissatisfied. The manager offered free dessert. No thanks! We will never go back, the place is a dump.

I've been to this location a few times and its generally a similar experience to other locations, it's an average setting with average food. The last time I was dining here, our sever was very inattentive -- it took me ages to get his attention to ask for water despite him walking past us several times. It was also frustrating seeing him stop at each of the tables in his care except us. The food was mediocre as well. The fish & chips was chewy, and one of the pieces was actually broken (not a big deal, was more concerned with the chewy texture) and my boyfriends burger was also quite pink at the centre (more rare than the medium standard).

Contrary to other reviews I found the food very good. I was at a dinner with my cousins NewYears Eve and I tried almost everything on the table. The spinich dip was excellent, had the bacon cheese burger excellent, tried a piece of the chicken breast was tender, the steak was great, the mushroom sauce to die for, bacon mac n cheese was really good, had the apple and berry cobbler, I must say that it was still hot till the last bite, the best I ever had, should of had some icecream on it, the funnel sticks oh ya. Now i must say the service was excellent, the staff were very friendly. I will most surely be back, had a wonderful time.

First time visit last night. We walked in to a bit of a line up, understandably due to it being fri. But we waited less than 10 min. Service was top notch. Usually when you go to a restaurant you get 1 person waiting on you. I think we had a total of 4 that at random times ask us if we needed anything or would take away dishes and empties. We did not have to wait for anything. Our main waitress was very good and made great suggestions. Food was awesome. After our appetizer we shared the chicken balsamic meal. It was delicious. Chicken was juicy, lots of flavor in the sauce and potatoes were great. 2 thumbs up. Will be back.

My hubby and I were greeted soon as we came in the door and were seated right away. We got a booth and the waiter had our drinks right away. We ordered a 4 cheese spinach dip to start. It was hot and fresh. He was patient with us when we decided on out lunch order. We ordered a fish sandwich and a burger. Our food was awesome. Our waiter Troy was joking around and friendly at the same time. We look forward to going back when we can. Thank you for the awesome service today Troy!

This location needs some severe renovations. Everything both on the outside and the inside is completely outdated and run down. I don't know if it's reflective on the owners of this location being cheap and not wanting to put money back into the business, but I definitely do not recommend this place until renovations have been done. Honestly walked away feeling like the place gives Kelsey's a bad name. The food was good, but small in portion size. Service wasn't great, but it wasn't the worst. My biggest complaint is definitely the horrible condition and need for updating the restaurant has.

Been going to Kelsey's for more than 10 years and always loved the half price wings and quesadilla. The service, however, has somewhat deterioted. We were greeted and seated properly. Our server, however, looked like his shirt really needs ironing and he needs to at least comb his hair as he looked like he really needs a shower. He was pretty rude as well in answering a polite question I asked. Because of this, our family might have to look for other places to eat. Sad, because we used to live thus place.

We had the experience of being served by Chevy. If you happen to try this restaurant, you would be fortunate to be served by such a knowledgeable and caring server. She went out of her way to clearly describe menu options and make unbiased recommendations for us which we were grateful we took into consideration. She added friendliness and humor. Further, she knew when to come and check on us during our meal and offered us further options upon completion. She was efficient and friendly. Our only concern would be not having Chevy as our server next visit to Kelsey’s in Kanata.

The worst meal ever!!! Went for dinner during a night of shopping at the Centrum Kelsey's. We started with the spinach dip and it came with awful greasy pitas. Then we realized that our server never told us we had a choice of baked or fried pitas... she was the worst server ever!! The chicken fajita was awful, it was burned and dried up. Couldn't finish it.. this used to be one of our favorite restaurant, but we will never return. DON'T recommend it! And was way more expensive than it used to be

Had a generally negative experience here. I used to like Kelseys however after the reopening they dont seem to have improved too much. We were given "New York Style" wings instead of the breaded we asked for. My burger (which I ordered from the on table advertisement) had the wrong toppings, the server took it back and the kitchen just threw the missing toppings on top. Giving it a 2 star as my girlfriends meal was fine, and they have some decent daily deals (1 app, 2 meals, and 1 beer was only $54). If you're looking for an elite dining experience look elsewhere.

The entrance was filthy. The hostess stands around while waiting for potential customers to arrive, so she could have done some sweeping. But no, she would rather not have to work for her money. So go home and get someone that wants to work. The steak was really tough. The do not serve baked potatoes as advertised on their website. And odd place. Nothing like the Kelseys in Barrie, Ontario. November 6, 2022. We made the mistake of ordering from Kelsey's Kanata and having it delivered. The half rack of ribs was so tough, I threw it out. I should have known better.

My husband had thai curry bowl and there was dirt in his broccoli. They paid for his meal which they should have since he sent it back after only 3 bites, but charged for his appetizer and everything else. Not a good way to get customers to come back in my opinion. P.S. The manager emailed and bought us dinner to compensate for our previous visit and also gave us free movie passes and one for our son who came with us. The meal was excellent as we've come to expect with Kelsey's. All is forgiven. We will be back again! Thanks again Mark!

We used to come here especially on Thursday wing night but our recent visit will likely be our last. To make a long story short, the service was horrible and it took just under an hour to get wings for me and 3 friends. When the wings arrived, some orders were cool and others warm. I would have asked the waitress what the holdup was but she never passed by and it wasn’t busy at all this evening. Wings are usually tasty but not worth the frustration of waiting an hour for cold wings.

I took my family to Kelsey's in Kanata this evening. Friendly staff as usual. The food was great although a bit slow. It arrived slower than normal. They hold high standards when it comes to Customer Service. A few minutes after we received are food, we got a surprise ...the server came back to the table and said that the whole bill was on the house. I visit this place often enough and I love their food. They showed how nice they are and I can recommend them any day of the week. They are AWESOME. World class service here in Ottawa.

I hadn't been to a Kelsey's in probably 5 years and was blown away by this location. They have updated both the decor and menu to be more modern and appealing. We ordered the garlic twists, wings, quesadilla, fries, and the butterscotch dessert. There was not a single bad thing among our order. Special kudos to the fries! They were crunchy on the outside, soft on the inside and just so addictive. I will definitely we back. If you were fed up with the bland mediocre old Kelsey's please give their new look and menu a shot!

Went this evening to have a drink to honour my father in law who passed away 20 years ago. Sat on the bar side in a booth. The bartender who looked after us went above and beyond. Oh dear, where to start? The staff was very nice which is why they're getting two stars instead of one. The food was a bit pricey for what we got, and my chicken burger was burnt beyond the point of being edible. They did not deduct anything from the bill and no one came over to speak with us. The fries were so bad my toddler wouldn't even eat them and she's a fry fiend. When they say it comes with "cheddar cheese" (which is an extra charge) they mean singles slices. Overall a disappointing experience.

I dined in on the patio tonight with some friends, and our server, Yvonne, was so kind and attentive throughout our meal. I have a severe gluten allergy and she assured me of the precautions that they take to make sure that the food I was getting was gluten free. She made sure that our drinks were always filled and came around many times to make sure we were satisfied with our meals. Overall, I just wanted to say how happy I am with the service Yvonne provided us with tonight!!

Food was good but I didn't know onion rings would be a dollar or two extra, and I didn't get a lot of onion rings. The server Yvonne was giving mad expressions in her voice and giving me attitude. I have three witnesses, too. I only asked a simple question about the onion rings and why it was a dollar or two more when you're suppose to get free side when buying a burger. If you're not happy about your job, leave.

Went for dinner with my family, started with the nachos and they were just ok. My husband and I each ordered the bacon cheese burger his with fries and mine with salad the burgers were semi warm when they arrived and were dry and not much taste. My husband's fries were dark on the outside as though they had been well cooked but were raw on the inside. Our son had salmon and it was ok but very small portion for the price. Service was mediocre. Needless to say we won't be returning.

I ordered the chicken thighs and a house salad. Wow the portions were generous 3 big peices of boneless chicken thighs and a medium sized salad. I have to say it was the best chicken I ever had. Cooked to a crunchy perfection. It is far superior to any other fried chicken out there. No comparison! Salad was delicious and made with a spring mixture of lettuce. House dressing was very tasty. Definitely going to order again. The service was top of the line. Thanks Kelseys!

It was okay. Atmosphere was great. Family, friends, couples, and company outing type environment. I had the Appy burger which was good. Could've had a sauce that made the burger more moist. It seemed dry and I had to dip in ketchup to eat it. Thos I was with had the chicken parmesan. The server should attend the table with a cheese grater and offer the option of more parmesan to be added. The pasta was also cold upon arrival. Other than that ot was a good visit.

A couple bad experiences here: 1. Tried to book a group party for 100 kids. Emailed and called about 5-6 times. Asked to be called back to confirm. Finally got to talk to the chef (no manager) who was rude and shoved us off. Ended up in booking elsewhere 2. Another time waited for the bill about 30 minutes completely ignored. 3. Third time food was horrific (Asian chicken salad and Alfredo chicken pasta). Sad. Used to be one of my fav places. So sad.

These were marvelous. I had a great house salad with my ribs, and enjoyed every bite. They were not greasy, not full of fat, just lean meat with small bones, so there wasn't that feeling of being robbed. Mind you, it's running $45 for a full rack, but I was left fully satisfied and happy I chose this place to visit. Our waitress was attentive, and even though it was early (3pm) we did get a fine meal, and everyone left happy and full.

First time going here in a while and was not disappointed at all. Food was great, came out extremely fast and was exactly what we ordered. Troy was our server and his service was hands down some of the best I've ever had, very friendly and upbeat, and you never felt like he forgot about you. Would 100% recommend this location, especially if Troy is working. You will not be disappointed.

Excellent service and food. Love the gluten free options so everyone has lots of options. Their house dressing was really nice and not runny which tasted yummy. Another waitress even noticed that our drinks were low and brought over water without being asked. Definitely recommend the Kanata Kelseys.

We stopped here for a late lunch, after driving most of the day. Both of us were very hungry. I had the fish and chips and my son had a large hearty burger. We had a starter of the calamari. Everything was delicious. The service was prompt and friendly. I took advantage of the 10% discount for CAA members. My son had a premium dining card so we got an additional 5% off with that. I would definitely visit this establishment again.

Whenever I come here the service is always wonderful. The people who work here are very friendly and outgoing, they remember you and take care of you, make you feel special. I love the chicken wings here, always the best!

Terrible food, company cutting corners sadly. I ordered the half nachos with the fajita Chicken add on. What I got looked uphauling. It wouldn't have been worth more than 5 dollars, but with a simple diet Coke was over 25 dollars. Literally hardly anything on the plate, and what was there was burnt. Pretty much no vegetables. Shameful. Do not recommend. It was an insult.

Always love coming here for their wing night (and other nights too). We often have the same waitress and she's very attentive. I wish the wings would come with more carrot and celery sticks, but we often get the spinach dip which is amazing.

The entrance looks disgusting with a column for cigarettes sitting in water. Glass doors are super dirty. Drinking glass was dirty. Food has changed a lot from previous selections and the quality is gone. The salad tasted old, and the pasta dish was luke warm and not according to menu. Food is presented not very appetizing.

My husband and went for our "date night/child free evening" and Carter was soooo friendly and awesome. I could really go on about the service she provided us and great conversation. We sat on the patio but went to the bar for some additional drinks, and we got a chance to chat up some of the other servers that were super kind and friendly aswell. I'd say 10/10 service ( Carter Esp.) Highly recommend

Horrible!!! The menu was uninspired and the food was terrible. I had a chicken Caesar salad. I paid $16 for what seemed like 1/2 bowl and the chicken was so disgusting i didn't eat it for fear of vomiting. My husband ate it and saud it was the grosses thing he's eaten in a long time. Would never ever go back and certainly would never recommend it to anyone! If I could give it negative stars I would.

Service was very slow even though it wasn't that busy. Tables around us that arrived AFTER we had ordered recieved and finished their food before we got our order. The food was luke-warm (except for the fries). The waiter was nice enough, but couldn't overcome the short-comings of the back of the house. We live in Kanata but are unlikely to return based on this experience. Disappointing!

I always go to Kelsey’s in Kanata Centrum because the servers are always so attentive and kind. Stacey in particular makes a huge effort to always check on how my family and I are doing, which really boosts our customer service experience here. I always get their famous spinach dip and it never disappoints!

My husband and I were here for lunch today. My Calamario with fries arrived 10 minutes after ordering cold\lukewarm. They were sent back and came back hot! My husband ordered wings and fries, he felt the wings were old\tough. However, the drinks were the right temperature! Wait staff Stacey and Sam very pleasant. I could not recommend Kelsey's, expensive disappointment.

This is one of our go to places for wings. They have a decent wing special and the wings are usually pretty good. They have multiple options, breaded or original and they will mix sauces for you. We often go with a pretty big group and they are often good at bringing out the food and getting the order right despite the large number of options presented.

I had the Fish & Chips dinner and I was very disappointed. The coating on the fish was very hard, couldn't cut it with a knife! Very little fish was available. The French fries were also cold and unappetizing. Over all the worst fish & chips meal I have had. Will not go back.

A nice dinner out with my favourite lady. We had some drinks and a quick bite while we watched the playoffs. The cocktails were delicious! Dinner was good, not great. Our burgers/chicken sandwich were juicy but the fries were not hot and kinda soggy whereas the rings were overcooked. A pickle or some slaw would be a nice touch to the plates as well.

Had one of the lunch specials, pasta alfredo with house salad. Pasta was bland, almost tasted watered down. The salad was partly rotten leaves, yoy could actually see the dark goo. I also ordered a dessert, the apple crumble, way overpriced. Dessert was quite good, but wish they had more calorie conscious portions. Not the best food. Service was ok.

Went here with a few of my friends because they said the place was good. The food was great, a bit overpriced for what we were given but not bad by any means, as we all enjoyed it very much. But more than anything was the service! It was extraordinary, the servers were wonderful we had a very pleasant conversation with our hostess Laura.

Hi everyone, just want to say I just visited restaurant with offer for a complimentary dinner at kanata location, we did have a little problem with order thru Uber eats and restaurant handle problem like a pro , the service and food was amazing, definitely going back there. Thank you management and support team.

The front of house staff stared at us like we'd landed from Mars once we'd arrived. We were seated at a dirty table and there were an abundance of servers, but none provided service. Customers who arrived later than us were served before us, so we just left.

Went here for a family dinner. Chose this place because it looked like it had a pretty decent selection. The staff were nice and the reno was done well. But the food...ya... I wasn't expecting much but jeez, it was pretty bad. Everyone got different dishes and they were all equally terrible :-(

What an amazing meal with excellent service and great atmosphere! Very happy with everything, no complaints at all. Even the bill was lower than expected. We will definitely be returning to try more stuff on their great menu.

This is our favorite restaurant in Ottawa. We asked the waitress to tell the chef to avoid any pork or bacon contact while preparing our food. She confirmed that to us, then the wonderful Chef himself, came to our table reassured us that he did so with great care.

Great restaurant. Good variety on the menu. Some of the best burgers around. The staff is great and they make awesome margaritas.

Nice place, they just redid the place and the patio is really nice. Great place to have a girls night or date night. The food is good and okay pricing. staff is friendly and helpful when it comes to choosing food. The sangria drink is really good.

Ordered burger and fries through skip. Taste pretty average but worst part was the fries which tasted and smelled like cooked in really old oil. Not recommended.
