This story is EXTREMELY overpriced for such a poorly LIMITED and Basic selection of goods; the neighborhood hasnt even been all the way gentrified yet but Key Food is certainly out here giving out a shotty Food Stamp selection and service (cashiers be all on their phones, eating at the registers that you can barely fit your cart through the line of a 40min wait) but with Whole Food Prices‍♀️. If you drive... I'd suggest you just take your money to Whole Foods (I know I will in the VERY near Future; talk about exploiting TF out of a Community) However, the guys in the meat department are always extremely helpful and so are some of the more "mature" employees. But the PRICES... makes me really anxious to leave my community. MF can barely save money for house if they consistently shop at THIS Key Food✋ I hate this store

Update. Not only does this place sell overpriced food, they sell rotten meat too. I walked in there with my family yesterday and the putrid smell of of rotten meat hit my nose. So I decided against buying the meat and walked over to the frozen food section. The rotten meat odor wafted over to that section as well, causing my 11 year to become nauseous and dizzy. I grabbed pizza bites and left with the few groceries I was able to grab. Only in black neighborhoods do I see these kinds of atrocities! Selling minorities old rotten and expired food. I should call the health department.

Never enough cashier's store always packed and long lines. Don't usually have great deals and when they do you have to buy two and three items to get the deal . Website says they close at 8 yet I'm outside at 727 and their closed. The door man is illiterate and doesn't understand hard work please replace him with someone else. He closes before the manager even tells him. Also please update the website and the time that you guys actually close so people don't waste their time coming cuz you guys don't answer the phone so we can't even call beforehand

It a nice supermarket .The elder man at the door is very nice but the rest of the employee especially the cashier on there cell phone some of them dress code is very disgusting and their attitude is nasty and rude they are not nice they dont know how to greet their customer their face is not pleasant and they are not very friendly when u walk up to the register .costomer satisfaction there is none they dont how to talk to u as a costomer .cashier need to be well train because costomer service is the key

I normally don't have many issues with this supermarket aside from the fact that they can be on the pricier side. However, they list their closing time as 8pm but I got there at 7:35 and was turned away. I've certainly gone at that time or a little later (I work till 7pm) and it was no problem. If they have new hours it's not listed anywhere and when I asked the security guard what time they close now he said "now" which was not helpful at all and rude. If you have new hours please note that.

I'm amazed by how neat and orderly the store is; on a consistent basis. Key Food helped me to decide to move into this neighborhood. In my unsolicited opinion, the store appears outdated and there's alot of retail floor being wasted. Competition is tight and when you start to take customers for granted they slowly find alternatives. Please commend your stockers, because I look forward to all the neatness. See ya soon!!

This store is so expensive! Also, the dairy products are often outdated...milk, yogurt, etc...check the dates! This is not a friendly store. The cashiers are Moody and hateful. The Managers follow you around the store to watch if you are shoplifting I guess. It's totally not cool. The food on the shelves does not have prices on them so you have no idea what you are paying until you checkout. Not a good thing!

This supermarket is terrible. The stuff is always expired & di spanish manager myguel onli hire spanish people , rude ones, he does not like customers and he treat hispanic workers better. he fire ppl when he doesn’t like dem . i had few friends that work dere he fire for no reason. my son apply to work he said no but he hire a new spanish guy week after. too much discrimination

This supermarket is the worst. They seem to no longer keep the items I like to cook/ eat. Their cashier are slow, nice so what do your job. They pick who they charge for bags. 5¢ for a paper bag to not hold my items without breaking or in the rain. I wonder who really keeps the different price some times it's a charge for paper bag money. And their fruit rot quick

Don't like this key food because they freeze their produce like the apples the sweet potatoes the strawberries grapes all that stuff to keep them in the freezer and when they're out on the floor especially avocados and they look bright and lovely and you take it home you cut it it's black inside don't like you food on Church Avenue

This has to be one of the worst supermarkets that's I've frequented within the 5 Boro's. The cashier's are instructed by the manager not to pack the customer's bags. This is horrible customer service skills, it's the patrons that keep this establishment up and running. They definitely deserve more respect than that.

Unfortunately this is one of the few supermarket in the neighborhood! It always has expired items! I always tell the manager whenever I see it. I had brought milk there and had to return it because the milk was sour and he gave me a major attitude!!! Not good customer service coming from the store manager!!

Fresh fruits are great and especially sweet during the summer months. But can never buy packaged salad/vege, everything always looks spoiled or wilted. Also check the expiration dates on your items. But atleast staff is helpful and i like that there is always a sale going on.

Some of the days are good, other days you get rudeness from the young staff. It could've been a lot better with the courtesy and mannerisms. Young people now a days aren't appreciative about anything, they expect what they themswlves won't give. RESPECT.

They stop letting customers in the store 10 to 15 minutes before closing time I guess because they are lazy and want to get home earlier. Cashier are never nice. They don’t greet me so I don’t speak to them. I’m the customer.

This store needs to be revamped. Items are not easy to find, the isles are close and the selections are shoddy. A little more attention to the neatness and cleanliness would be welcome. The workers are friendly and helpful.

This is my neighborhood keyfood. The man near the door is a very nice gentleman and makes the place very welcoming. Cashiers are nice as well.
