Products are sold at different prices than advertised on the shelves. Either corresponding tags on the shelves are for different products altogether or the tags are correct but product is scanned at different price during checkout. This happened not only to me but also to another member of my family several times. When I confronted management about this discrepancy I was told that person entering prices into the system probably made a mistake. Discrepancies are typically not big, between $0.50 and $2 maybe. However frequency and consistency of those discrepancies make me strongly believ it is not a matter of human error but rather a deliberate scheme. Outside of shopping few items at a time I refuse to give more business to this store and get potebtially scammed.

Have been shopping at Key Food Supermarkets for years now and I am continually impressed with their exceptional service and high-quality products. This supermarket is very small and always feels cold as freezer inside, it is so tight between aisles and sometimes the wagons do not fit especially when you check out. But honest they have the fresh fruits and vegetables you can find in the Island. They have variety of items of each unit and the employees are well presented and educated about their job and the items found on their store's shelves. They are helpful all the time. As a shopper, I feel this a good place to shop at and I could access easily to the items I am looking for, this is because they are well organized and always prepared with fresh and excellent products. Give it a try

Very expensive for a mini supermarket, in South Beach I thought theywould be a little lenient on there prices but you might as well go to b Maggios, the prices ain't that far off. I go here when I'm too lazy to go to new dorp and it's only for minor stuff. And the people down there that like to talk garbage about me talk it where there's no cameras not driving by in a car because remember revenge is a dish best served cold.all people involved in my unfair situation all sadly past away, there is one left that's pretty creepy. So like I said yahoo there prices are prices and remember I'll give you a war you won't believe, try me

No star is how I feel about this. Manager showed no concern for the fact I needed to use my healthy benefits card. Things that I should have been able to purchase like all of the item on the list, dairy, produce, and meats I wasn’t able to get. He didn’t seem to want to punch in the numbers individually “it takes to long” is what he said. But what he should have done was just rang the numbers up. Instead I went home without the food I went there to get and he was just fine with this. My family needed to eat and didn’t because of this. Thank you so much Keyfood! I won’t shop or spend and money here ever again.

While checking Out, the register had technical difficulties which prolonged the interlude. Prior to this happening, I was discussing how I could not find a certain kind of item. I suggested in this time I had been waiting someone could have gotten me the item I needed and added it to my list of groceries. They suggested I should go get it while the register reset. I thought it would have been good customer service to bring me the item that I could not find. Instead they wanted me to search for it again even though I was already in that aisle looking for it.

Twice got sick from deli food being left on the hot food shelf for days. If you have to buy anything from the deli, buy it from the cold section before it's moved to the hot food shelf where it will be brought back out until sold. Worst part about this store is being wrongly accused of shoplifting by a small, greasy Arab manager after putting my cellphone into my backpack. The meat is about twice what you pay in Metfood and poorer quality. The checkout workers are the nicest part about the place, but no reason to ever shop here. Strongly avoid.

The place is ok, but if you need them to deliver something always goes wrong. There is one of their staff that got nasty with me and was almost accusing me for something I did not do. How is it my fault all the things I bought was not delivered accurately, then when I called to tell them am being accused falsely. If is not because I don't have my own private transportation, honestly I will never go back there again. Some people just don't know how to talk to people, but when one decides to return the same favour then it becomes something else.

The store reminds me of smaller supermarkets in Manhattan. The shopping carts are minnie size and doesn't take much to fill it up. If you go early in the morning the aisles are loaded with boxes and it's annoying trying to navigate your shopping cart through the small aisles. Staff is very nice, but restock shelves at night, not during the morning. It's more expensive than bigger markets and brands are limited but they seem to have what you need. GREAT produce aisle, Fish and Deli Dept. are excellent.

Have been a customer since they opened and was quite upset yesterday when I went there to shop after avoiding going out for 3 weeks. There were customers and employees without masks which should be mandatory, nothing was being done to make sure customers and employees were not being exposed to the virus. Going to other supermarkets such as Met all precautions were being made for the safety of all. Very disappointed in the management and will think twice before I go there again.

Great addition to the neighborhood. Clean, good prices if you look for deals and not crazy busy like other places can get. Staff is always polite and willing to help. Love the fish market as well although it is a bit pricey but quality is outstanding. Also close to the beach, boardwalk, ball fields and playgrounds so you can turn your grocery run on the weekend into something nice as well. Wish they had a better bread selection just like Met Foods on Hylan. Check them out ...

The staff at the sand lane location are great. Mahoova (sorry if I spelled her name wrong) is very friendly and professional. She personally shops for the items that I phone in, and always offers me alternatives if an item is out of stock. The drivers show up in a timely manner with my groceries neatly packed. They are also very nice and very professional and always wear a nose mask when arriving at my door. They make shopping a breeze. 5 stars and 2 thumbs up! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

****Update on may 10, 2023.***** I went in to buy tempter cream cheese, hummus, kids horizon milk. Tempter cream cheese- expires today Horizon kids milk- expires in one week Hummus- expired in April HOW IS THIS PLACE STILL IN BUSINESS !!!!!!! CHECK ALL EXP. DATES AT THIS LOCATION!!!!!!! There’s many things that are expired. None of the staff is social distancing and a few aren’t wearing any masks. Also very expensive, go to Trader Joe’s or Costco, you’ll save much more.

Fresh and friendly. The meat manager named Charlie along with the meat wrappers Carmen, Daisy, and Carlos are all great. The butcher block has Nando there as well as Peter. The Angus steaks are beautiful and the Bell & Evans chicken selection is always fresh. I love dealing with all the butchers but the most knowledgable ones are downstairs where you will find Louis, Benny, Jesse, Mike, Juanito ( Jackson) and that devilishly handsome butcher whose name eludes me.

It ok for small shopping the store is verry small and not a lot of registers. But there is plenty of parking so I'd rather go there then deal with the big lines at other stores. I left a good review but then the owner wrote back enjoy your life because you won't have it for long I don't know why this guy is threatening me if you look above I did not say anything bad. Now I got to think twice before I let any of my family go shopping

I go here because it's close and convenient but.. the prices are horrible, the meat is often on its last best buy day, you can't find prices on half the merchandise, did I mention they are absurdly expensive for what they offer? I usually just buy groceries on Amazon fresh because it's cheaper but in a pinch or when I'm lazy I go here.

Moe keeps a hard working team around. The courtesy discount for uniformed service members make this the go to spot for many in the community. Rich in the meat department hires the most ready - to - work young people to provide friendly service at the deli. Can't beat the service and honestly can't beat the price!

The customer service here is very good. The folks in charge are courteous and professional, and the deli and cashiers are friendly. We almost exclusively shop here because it’s in our neighborhood. They have a good variety of product selections, considering the smaller space.

I go to Key Food often as it's a convenient place for grabbing quick groceries if you're buying smaller quantities. Fruits and veggies are a little more expensive than dedicated grocery stores so if you're buying bigger quantities, I'd prefer a place like Costco or BJ's.

A decent grocery store with everyday essentials, that also stocks imported chocolate like Milka, Ritter sport, kinder, Galaxy, and Authentic Cadbury dairy milk bars from the UK! Even has international Kit Kat too. Great prices on the rare items as well.

I love the Russian/Polish section along with a more common Latin American! Shows that the store management is attentive to the community needs. Very competitive pricing plus weekly and seasonal specials. Friendly and outreaching staff on all levels.

A mid sized supermarket that opens at 7:30 am and closes at 9 pm seven days a week. Accepts cash, credit and EBT. Weekly specials. Unique produce, drinks, desserts, appetizers, and more reflecting the diverse international community it serves.

I think it's a great store especially if you need to pick up a couple of things or if you forgot that certain ingredient in your recipe you can quickly go and pick it up the stuff. staff is great, management is awesome, what more can I say!!

Nicely kept store. Staff is friendly. Prices are moderate to high. Produce is very good. Meats are good. Shelves neatly stocked. Only downfall when something is out of stock it seems to take awhile to get it back in.

They have good international selection here. It's not cheap overall. I'd select Shoprite over keyfood if buying a lot, but for a couple items and foreign foods this store is great.

Key Food Supermarkets have had great prices, on their Vegetables, and their Meats, are Very Fresh, the Supermarkets are Very Clean, and the employees are great With their job

Some of the products are not fresh, I checked couple of times and prices are very high, I was surprised to pay above 4$ for dill and 3.99 for a small bag of cherry tomatoes

Always up and down on prices. Some sales are decent and some things are pricey. Shopping is always what it is, the sales, and the patience to find the best deals

Bathrooms are FILTHY the floors in the bathroom are urine soaked. No paper towels to dry your hands . And the toilet is grimy and nasty looking.
