The knights bar has a really cool atmosphere which goes along with the rest of the Clontarf castle. There was a nice drink selection and many beers from local breweries. The service was absolutely excellent. The food was overall decent. We ordered a starter first; the duck meal balls and they were not very good. They were pretty bland and the portion was small even for an appetizer. As for dinner we ordered the muscle curry and a burger. The curry was excellent, seasoning was quite mild so not very spicy at all. The burger was well done, but had a very fair portion of meat in it. The fries were a little disappointing. We asked for the mayo and Parmesan fries and literally all of the Parmesan and mayo were just in a giant blob at the top and there wasn’t much Parmesan. In most places I’ve been with seasoned fries there is more seasoning and it’s mixed in. The dessert was by far the best part of the meal. I highly recommend ordering the brownie!
One of the most fascinating bars, lounges or pubs I have visited in the World! With its mixed antiquity and modern amenities, distinctive design and décor, the knockout ambience relaxes the mind in an amazing mix of worlds, current and past. The incredible remnants of a 12th Century structure along with its contemporary atmosphere chills your day of touring and walking. A must for visitors to beautifully extraordinary Ireland - whether first visit or on multiple stays, this is the place to chill after a long adventurous day. Oh, did I mention the beer is ice cold, and the Cocktails are extraordinary! Kudos!

A tourist hotel bar with a lot of history. Once it was 3 deep at the bar but now you can get a seat most times. Within one of the oldest historical buildings in Clontarf it is full of atmosphere. If you want a relaxing drink and chat with friends no better place in Clontarf. Food is well presented and tasty

This place is ye olde worldly and tastefully decorated. It has a lovely atmosphere and grand style window seating. Get there early if you want one of these. The bar is fully stocked with all sorts of beers, spirits, and wines. The food is of excellent quality, accompanied by fabulous service. Excellent parking and toilets. If you're in the area, put it on your to call into list.

For such an amazing place during the day you can only get food in the bar. The choice is extremely limited and the quality is very bad. I had the chicken wings which were over cooked dry and cold. Beautiful place to meet and just have a drink. I believe the rooms are amazing

It was an amazing experience in the restaurant Knights Bar at Clontarf Castle in Dublin Ireland. Thanks to the greatest Julianna Lopes for the service and all the assist at there. Espero volver y pasarla tan bien como la pase. ❤️ * By the way, the restaurant was very spectacular and with a unique accent. Thank you Julianna. Desde Puerto Rico ❤️❤️❤️
Staying at the Castle, decided to head down for a drink. Underwhelming service. Barman really couldn't be bothered. No welcome, no acknowledgement, just got grunted at. Wow. The wine was lukewarm. For the price, they are having a laugh. Some customer service training required here.

Awesome historic pub feel. Good. Food and drink selection. For a hotel pub, prices are reasonable. Staff is friendly. They have a decent menu and also have a separate kids menu. Server/bartender Marta is an absolute gem. She is wonderfully hospitable.
Noble Knight cocktail excellent, Chicken BLT excellent, french fries amazingly crisp without being greasy

This is now my local, the only place in Dublin I can get chicken wings and a Vanilla in the Irish Mist. Friendly efficient staff, ultra cool location. Highly recommended. Okay, half a star off because they don't have rose wine.
Probably caught them on a bad day, but service was very very slow. Staff however were extremely pleasant, in particular Greek manager.

Everything you want in an Irish bar. Great food and friendly staff. We ate here 3 nights in a row and everything was amazing. I can’t recommend this place enough.
Lager wasn't very cold, Guinness was not up to Guinness standard. But we did eat in the restaurant and it was very nice and reasonable …

The clam chowder was good as well as the fish of the day. I really enjoyed the strawberry daiquiri.
We were a group of 15 diners. The service and food was really excellent. I couldn't fault it.
