For anyone having an injury case, I can personally recommend Mark. First, I'll give a little background. In a nutshell, I had a car accident a couple years ago and the other guy's insurance just did not want to pay. Even though the other driver was at-fault, his insurance company just kept having me wait after I declined their initial ultra-low offer. Their stance was that they were investigating the case more, which asked for a couple more months every time. Phone calls would lead nowhere. He was very cool and easy to deal with. As soon as Mark became involved, my case started to move forward and that's just what I needed. I'm a people person, so that was an absolute requirement for me, no exceptions. I can say Mark is a professional and friendly guy. I dealt with him directly in most communications, no middle person, so that was even nicer. Any question I had regarding my case he was able to answer and relieve my concerns. The end result was better than expected, despite hurdles that he had to go through to get everything together. Took me a while to look around and decide, but I'm happy I went with Mark. Got my case closed and moving on with life. So interesting story.... Several years ago my youngest brother who was a minor, got hit by a irresponsible driver right in front of our home as he was crossing the street. I was the victim of a really frightening hit-and-run accident that totaled my car and caused me whiplash injuries. I was in a lot of pain for over 2 months and had severe psychological distress from the incident. I was referred to Mark Blane by an excellent chiropractor who was helping me recover from my injuries. I know absolutely nothing about personal injury cases or how insurance claims worked. In fact, I was not even aware in cases of car accidents, 2 separate claims can be made by the victim, one for property damage and one for personal injuries. Mark Blane was very professional and seems to be very knowledgeable in his field. He answered all of my questions and concerns thoroughly and made me understand every part of the claims process. I felt comfortable clarifying and asking questions about any and all aspects of the case, no matter how trivial. Mark guided me through every step of the claims process and I was very surprised we managed to get the insurance company of the at fault party to pay a generous settlement for personal injury. My injuries were temporary and didnt involve any easily identifiable physical traumas or permanent disabiliies, and instead involved more subjective less "provable" experiences of pain due to soft tissue damage as well as the psychological side effects of the incident. Nevertheless Mark managed to secure a generous settlement payout from the at-fault party's insurance carrier that was close to the maximum a jury wouldve awarded had the case gone to trial (which is on top of the property damage portion that completely covered the total loss of my car). I was able to pay off my medical care and receive additional generous compensation for pain and suffering. He also has website that is packed with very useful information about different types of personal injuries, general information about what to do and in what order when you're the victim of a car accident, how to read police reports, etc etc. He also has a blog with youtube videos and has written numerous books. He seemed VERY thorough. He also responded in a very timely manner to all of my communications to him, usually within a couple of hours. I am extremely satisfied with the result and will certainly refer anyone who needs a personal injury lawyer or any sort of general legal advice to Mark.
