Levertons, especially Barry of the Kentish Town home, were superb from first meeting to the funeral. Professional, kind, open and honest - we couldn’t have wished for better people and guidance during a difficult time. Nothing is too much trouble (and we changed our minds on a few things!) Barry and the team are always available. The chapel of rest is a calming space where you feel comfortable - much better than a hospital for anyone deciding if and when to see loved ones. Their prices are transparent and the overall cost is bang on the national average. Also recommend Jayne’s florist up the road who Levertons suggested - Paula was amazing. Should I need to in the future, Levetons is who I will turn to and I’d like them to do my own funeral. Look at websites, meet the funeral director and go with your gut instinct on if that person has the experience and compassion to help you through a difficult, and at times, confusion process. Look at the framed thank you letter on the wall in Barry’s office if you need any further reassurance :)

Wow wow wow. Barry at Levertons & Sons in Kentish Town is just outstanding. We had our mothers funeral just 3 days ago and I could not have asked for a more perfect day. My mother would have been so proud. Barry made the whole process so easy. Other than being so friendly, he is incredibly reliable, dependable, organised and doesn't miss a thing. Barry is someone you can trust from start to finish with all the logistics. The whole day went so smoothly. I will recommend Barry at Levertons to everybody. Looking back at the photos you could see me smile more than anything because I was so happy that my mum had such a perfect service. I live across the road from Levertons Funeral home and over thirty years ago we used them for my dads funeral and over thirty years later we used them again for my mums. Initially mum and I had gone to them to sort things out before her passing and Barry White… who mum got to know sat with us and was very good, calm, patient and knowledgable. Then when mum passed away, I dealt with Lorna who… was also very knowledgeable, calm and patient and a good listener and what she wasn’t sure off , she would get back to me on… and she did. The correspondence side was fantastic and she guided me through it all. We worked together to make everything as nice for mum as possible. I would highly recommend this Levertons in Kentish Town as the people working there are amazing. Thank you all. Lots of my family members were delighted mum had such a well organised and beautiful funeral. It is one of the most daunting and challenging things to deal with but Levertons helped so much.

I am so glad and relieved that I went to Leverton & Sons to arrange the funeral of my dear friend. First time arranging a funeral, went to Levertons kentish town. Barry is amazing so welcoming made me and my family feel at home, I got to see my dad every day for 4 days from 10am till the afternoon and any request I made Barry did his utmost to make sure it was met. Funeral day came and was such a lovely send off I cant fault anything the whole team did a great job with such care. Although I don't want to be going back any time soon levertons will always be my go to, I recommend it to anyone who is unsure, you won't be disappointed.

I’m actually lost for words… Absolutely amazing, I honestly can’t thank Barry white enough for the service I received at my mother (Susan’s) funeral. it was beautiful from start to finish, very professional caring and patient staff. Barry helped and his team helped us through the whole of the funeral arrangements for mum with the utmost care and dignity. Initially I know it wasn't easy to get the exact date for both the church service and cemetery but Barry managed to get there in the end. On the day of the funeral Leverton's were professional and helpful which is just what you need. Would give 5 stars but haven't due to slight mixup with final cost but this was due to a minor admin error. Over all would use their services again.

The team at Levertons are considerate, helpful, organised and caring. I have had cause to call on their services twice. On both occasions they have handled all the funeral affairs extremely well and efficiently. They take the load off one's shoulders at a difficult time. They have a number of offices which is useful and the staff are responsive and quick, going out of their way to assist. Right from my first contact with Barry, which was the morning after my mother's death, he was compassionate, informative and extremely helpful. At a time when I was extremely vulnerable and lost, the whole experience of organising my mums funeral became easier. The whole experience was managed and executed with the utmost professionalism.
