"Fantastic overnight stay at this well located hotel"
"Nice view, easy to get to a bus route to and from tube"
Great location. Just a 25 minute walk to O2. Great public transport connections. Big room, great shower, lots of space. Only negative was the very slippery bathroom floor (we both slipped and my partner fell and injured themselves too). Pillows could do with an upgrade too. I'd stay here again and have already recommended it to others.

Pros: Proximity to 02 arena (walking distance / saves on transport fees). Clean room. En suite. Tea/Coffee facilities. Linen/Towels/Hair dryer/Iron/Fan. Cons: Was not easy to find the apartment which caused us delays getting to our concert. Walls are paper thin, woken up several times a night by loud neighbours and just heard people that were using the communal bathroom being sick every morning for 2 days. Stained mattress topper. TV freeview did not work. Pillows were too hard which resulted in 2 poor nights sleep. Room temperature never came below 23 degrees despite having a fan which also made sleeping uncomfortable. For what I paid I would not consider this stay good value for money unfortunately. Genuinely could not wait to leave which is a shame as I’ve never experienced anything like this before.

Bathroom door wouldn’t lock, front door to the room didn’t lock, it pushed open without putting the combination code in.. luckily no valuables were left and a dangerous faulty plug socket were the kettle plugged in, started to crackle and switch off, when we inspected the socket it was black inside. Bed was very comfortable, shower was decent, although bathroom was very small. Area was quiet although around a 30 min walk to the nearest tube station.

Fantastic overnight stay at this well located hotel. Wonderful building, so nice to visit somewhere with such interesting history. We had a lovely large room with HUGE windows and a fab view. Very clean room, and a helpful friendly receptionist on arrival. Great location for our trip to the O2 for a concert. Good connections for train, tube and buses. This location really made our weekend stay a good one.

Nice view, easy to get to a bus route to and from tube. The room was poor. A few things could make it nice. The kettle kept cutting out ( worrying) no plug in the sink. 1 pillow each that were like concrete ( we bought 2 and left them there) Bathroom was small for a bigger person but nice shower if the water went away.

Please check the kettle. It seams to work then cuts out and it needs holding down to Finnish boiling. Scarily it starts boiling on its own sometimes.
A nice clean room, not far from the centre of London. A very easy check-in. The communication with the host(s) is just great. We enjoyed our stay at London City View Hotel.

What a lucky find! I was looking for a place to stay for my friend and me with 2-single beds. Most hotels in London, in my budget range, only offer a double bed. London City View had a double bed and a bed/sofa in the room we booked. On request they even made up the bed/sofa within an hour of arrival. The service was great, and the location was super for travel to and from Central London. (Tube stations within 1 & 4 minute walk/ DLR or the Elizabeth Line) Highly recommended!

Good basic room, appeared clean and good instructions to access. Downsides were that there is NO parking provided despite it saying there is on the website. Also the TV reception was very poor and the bed was old and noisy with the slightest movement. However, great location and value for money for a quick stay.

We stayed In one of the rooms with a private bathroom. Very nice size, very clean, basic essentials provided. Couldn't really hear the traffic considering there was a lot going on outside. The only think I would say is some black out curtains would be nice the blinds are ok but curtains would definitely make it feel more private. If we ever come back this way we will definitely be booking again though.

Was very pleasantly surprised with our room, we had a very large room with a balcony , didn’t expect that at all but was lovely, the bus stop right outside goes straight to the 02 academy/cable car ride over the themes. If coming back to London for future concerts I’ll definitely be back, awesome stay and shared bathroom was very adequate and nice shower. Convenience shop right across the road and also next to a nice pub. Only 5/10 minutes from Westcombe Park station

Hotel was lovely. Rooms were modern and clean. The staff were also helpful and friendly. Location wise, the area is quite nice and clean. If you are in London to stay out late then it is possible to get a bus back to the accommodation but it is a bit long, nothing to do with the hotel, just that the underground doesn't continue through the night. If the underground is running it only takes 30 mins to get more central from leaving the hotel, which was great.

Location and Service was great - self check in worked fine. However was horrified to be visited by an intruder into my room just after midnight; door was fully locked so must have been someone who already had the door code. Surely you change the codes??? this intrusion would suggest not which is a major hazard. Sorry to leave a negative post but you need to be aware that as a direct result, I did not feel safe in this location.

Good sized very clean room, with adjoining shower room and toilet. Reception staff were friendly and efficient. No breakfast provided at the hotel but tea/coffee making facilities provided in the room. Several places very nearby to go for meals. Overall, a good place to stay for a few nights. Very convenient for public transport links to inner London. ( DLR, Elizabeth line and busses)

This accomodation was a pleasant surprise! A bit away from central London (zone 4), but very close to a subway station and within minutes you get there. The room was simple, but nice and warm, with toiletries, hairdryer and a comfortable bed. Only con was the pressure of the shower, but not a big deal at all. Overall fully recommend the stay!

After following the map directions, it took me 20 minutes to find the location as there are no signs and then once I was here, there was no parking, so I had to park right around the corner. A good five minute walk. Once in the room I can say very clean and comfortable as I was lucky my room was opposite the bathroom

Very clean rooms easy check in and check out very comfortable stay. Although a friend of mine couldn’t bring his small corgi dog into the hotel on a quick visit as it was against the hotels policy. It was handled with compassion and professionalism. Thank you

Absolutely terrible night. The shared bathroom was accessed by drug addicts/drunks from midnight until gone 3am. It was at this point I packed up my belongings and left the hotel. Too much noise. Basically £50 spent to lay awake all night listening to screaming, arguing, and loud banging.
Room was clean and spacious. Self check in was easy. Location is good but limited bus service to the area during nighttime. There is a 24 hour local mart available at walking distance. Overall a great place to stay.
