This place has lots of potential. The restaurant is very clean. And they make everthing fresh. I recommend calling ahead if you dont like to wait. Lets talk about chicken. Non GMO,meat is tender and flavorful. The size is above average, meaning more for your tummy. The flavor of the chicken is intense. Its like bringing new orleans in your mouth, im talking about spices and cajun. Enough kick leaving you wanting for more. Dont get me started on the Gumbo... delicious! If you are not a fan of spicy, let them know. They will accommodate your needs. They might not have levels of how spicy but it makes you wanting for more and more. I rather taste the chicken and the spice , rather than too spicy that all i taste is just blah! They also provide Halal chicken, which is a really nice option to have . Especially nowadays. They might not have waffles or pancakes or chicken sandwich . Its just straight up fried chicken with love! No funny business , just fried chicken business. Highly recommended. I am truly a big fan, and for sure be back for more lousiana fried chicken.

This is my go-to spot for fried chicken. Pre-COVID, I'd come here twice a month to get the River Boat Pack (16 pcs, 2 large sides, 6 bread rolls). Now, I live further away, but once in a while, I'll make the drive out here. My family loves how spicy and juicy the fried chicken is. We usually call in to place our order and come for pick up. I haven't had any issue with parking. I will note that they might not be ready for the first order at their opening time. I came once to order for a lunch picnic and the workers didn't come until 10 minutes past at which point I still needed to wait another 20+ minutes for the fried chicken to be ready. Unfortunate as my friends were waiting, but so worth it --- they were just as impressed as my family with the deliciousness of the this location's chicken!

It was my first time at this restaurant but it was very bad and I don't recommend it. Don't spend your money in that restaurant. It doesn't really serve any purpose. I mention first that I paid for the order, they gave me 25 minutes. by my order!! return in 35 min. and I still waited 15 min. More in total it was 55 min. so they could deliver my order, then my family and I eat the chicken. oh really!! It was a total rock, the chicken not at all crunchy at the end I stopped throwing everything away! and the macaroni salad the bitter mayonnaise! I don't recommend it and really bad service!

(4.6 stars) This is some of the best fried chicken that I have ever had. The outside is crisp and flavorful and the inside is juicy and fresh tasting, even the breasts. The fried skin is almost a meal in itself. Do note that all of their chicken is a bit spicy, but not overpowering. It is cash only and the only negative thing that I can say is that the sides were not impressive. That is okay, I will keep going back and getting the chicken. The price is quite reasonable, adding up to a really good value. Chicken is made to order, so this is not fast food. It is a 5-7 minute walk from the Expo Line Train (La Cienega/Jefferson stop).

The store is located in the back corner behind Carl's Jr, not very easily noticeable from the street. No dine in yet, all chairs and tables have been removed. Looks kind of empty. Customer service is just ok. I went there because this place serves HALAL chicken (islamic way of slaughtering animals) upon request. They also have fish and shrimp with many different reasonable priced combos. They also have a Spicy Rice, it wasn't too bad. The place is clean. You have to order ahead of time if you want HALAL chicken. They don't offer dine-in.

I like Louisiana chicken but this location is no good. The chicken was dry and burnt also the fries. I told the lady to exchange the thigh wich she argued with me that it was fine when you can clearly see it was bad . I asked her for a second thigh and she offered me a leg ,which is not the same size as the thigh so I told her 2 would equal the thigh and she refused. I do not recommend it make sure to check your food before leaving with it .

I rarely write reviews. But after eating here I felt compelled to! This place has the BEST fried chicken! It is made fresh to order (you will have a small wait about 7-10 mins) but it is so worth it! It is flavorful and has a spicy kick to it! I drove past this place many times in the past and always wondered what it was like. Soooo good!! Highly recommend it!

This is tiny place with minimal seating and a tight parking lot. They take cash and credit but it'll be a 80¢ surcharge for credit and it can be a wait for chicken or shrimp at times. There's no seating anymore since COVID do it's all take out. But despite those reasons I thoroughly enjoy their fried chicken and shrimp. Their fries are nothing special...but I love the chicken!

Not a fan. The chicken was salty and way too spicy. couldnt even eat it. I've eaten at othe Louisiana Chickens ( my favorite is in Compton on Alondra) I'm so glad this wasn't my first experience otherwise I would never eat at this food chain again. I wont be eating at this location. Sidenote: I think this chain brand inconsistent. All of the Louisiana chickens are different smh for that reason (+ my experience) I'm giving 2 stars

The older lady is rude and racist. No wonder it’s always empty now. Refused a cup of 1$ ice ( yes I always pay get it daily) because she was too busy but literally had one customer in the store. The young chick is super cool but that older lady is running people off! I don’t know what her problem is but she definitely has one. Done supporting businesses in this community that doesn’t respect the residents.

This chicken is super good and really inexpensive. Even the breast pieces are juicy and flavorful. The best part is you can request halal meat. The sides are decent, nothing special, and I don't really like the rolls they give, but it don't matter because their chicken is bomb This place is cash only so come prepared. Also, call in advance to place your order, it can take a while to cook it.

This is one of the best fried chicken place. HALAL option is available upon request. HALAL fried chicken takes 15 to 20 minutes wait time. Indonesian owner and the stuffs are very nice and friendly. They DO NOT ACCEPT CREDIT/DEBIT CARDS. Fried chickens can be too salty sometimes, but always spicy. There is a different menu for halal option (see in photos)

Fried chicken on point! Place only has 3 tables but it’s not that busy. They have thick protective glass at the register (Really not necessary) fries are good and so is the spicy chicken! You can get a 5 piece combo for under $10! The menus had many options to choose from and staff is nice! I’ll be back this place is kinda poppin!

It's just so unhealthy, I know this because it taste finger lickin good. Idk how they do it. How do they get spiciness down through the chicken and not just the skin? How Sway? Well the mystery continues. I would consider this place a delicacy. Nice to have once every other blue moon maybe never, but not a couple times a month.

For me! this location ranks as the best among the Louisiana chain. It's clean, safe and the chicken is always hot! with just enough Louisiana flavor. So.etimes the wait can be just a little long. Amazing staff, affordable pricing, and my urge for something spicy always is met because almost every item on the menu is served that way! Was kicking a slight stomach ache on the day I am writing this and knew to order the gumbo. Was not let down as it was served piping hot and truly flavorful

Man, they take a long time with the orders now. Like 20 to 30 minutes. And with Debt card they want you to spend a minimum of $15 which for the people who don't have lose cash, may have to use the atm. They got to be losing money when they do that.

This is one of the worst restaurants ever the employees are very rude especially the one particular guy who says he’s in charge. And another reason I won’t patronize them again I noticed them not changing gloves often after a task.
