11/2/23 update. Lowe’s employees keep adding shopping carts to our street. These carts showed up on our street this morning. They keep moving trash from the alley onto the neighborhood street behind their store. Lowe’s has no respect for the neighborhood! And they don’t care about throwing the trash into the dumpster, they rather push the responsibility onto the neighborhood. Over priced items for low quality food products. Don’t shop here! They also have a very small selection of healthy foods as well —and you guessed it, it’s also way over priced. Whole Foods is cheaper than this grocery store, and they have higher quality foods. Furthermore, for a solid week their employees were dumping their trash from their alley way on our sidewalk (the neighborhood behind the grocery store). When I asked them to stop putting their trash on our side walk, they said it wasn’t their trash, that someone left it in the alley way (they use this alley way for deliveries and loading/unloading). I then said, that if it’s in the alley they should throw it way, don’t dump it on our sidewalks in front of our house! The alley way is their responsibility, even if it isn’t their trash. This store and their employees to have no regard for their neighborhood they serve. After I said this, they took the trash and piled it next to our neighborhood dumpster, they didn’t even try to put it in the dumpster. They also have their own grocery store dumpster, they should have used their own trash bin. Again, they have could care less about the neighborhood or their customers. Rude. The Lowes employees are very rude and disrespectful of the neighborhood. 2 hours later a person from the neighborhood put the trash next to the Lowe’s trash bin, then a short while after I saw a Lowe’s employee put one of trash carts back in the street (not even on the curb!) and another trash cart on the sidewalk! I saw this employee do this and asked if he could just throw it away, and he said “no, it’s not my trash”. Their employees keep putting alley way trash on our sidewalks and on our street. Lowe’s store, you all need to just put the trash in a garbage bin if it’s in the alley and in your way. Please. Thank you. When people leave trash on our street, we throw it away, so please if someone leaves trash in your alley, and you need to get your store trucks through there, please dispose of it correctly. Store manager: I did get a video of this employee doing this. …Wait! The person in this video IS THE STORE MANAGER! Wow. This person is so rude. May I suggest a customer service training for the management and employees at the 11 Street Store, and perhaps a Lowe’s community trash pick up day to show how much they really do care about their community and their neighborhood customers.
A few years back this grocery store was just kind of your average trashy, junk food, ghetto grocery store. Folks in the neighborhood went to them and said “hey, we need a real grocery store! and we need better quality food.” Over the period of a couple of years, they worked with the neighbors and created what we have now, at Lowe’s Corner Market. Given the challenges of operating a business downtown, they are really doing a phenomenal job here. I know the prices can be high, but they do seem to maintain specials on core ingredients so that they are affordable. And it’s great to be able to buy quality produce and healthy food at a local neighborhood market. I applaud their efforts to adapt to the changing socioeconomic dynamic in the downtown area.
Nice little grocery store with a surprisingly wide selection and a clean professional atmosphere. Unfortunately, their prices are far from competitive, which is a big deal with food prices so high in general right now. If you are close by and need to make a quick trip on foot for a couple of items, it's worth it to come here — but if you have to get in the car or hop a bus to get here, you're much better off going to Smith's or Walmart where the prices are more reasonable.
Even though the light for check out was on, the manager said ONLY self-check was open. I counted 5 employees not including the manager. I said I preferred to have somebody ring me up...he said only self checkout is open (might add he was doing nothing) I said nice customer service, he said....exact words, "that's how we roll here" then proceeded to tell another employee to watch me...enough employees to watch you, but not provide ANY SERVICE, HORRIBLE SERVICE AND MANAGER
Visiting Albuquerque for the first time and this neighborhood grocery store is conveniently located right near my Airbnb. It’s an decent size grocery store for the area right near downtown. I was able to almost get everything I needed except for a smaller size fruit option - blueberries. Friendly and prompt staff to proactively assist customers. Plenty of parking too. It’s a great stop to get your groceries and toiletries in Albuquerque.
That's it, this is the last time I shop here. I specifically called to make sure there would be a cashier available before I left the house. The person standing there at the "self check-out" kiosk was really rude and unhelpful. On my way to
Employees are rude. The bathrooms are locked. Asked the nearest employee if I could get the code and he just points. Idk what that means. Customer service he says. Went to customer service, no one there. A lady asked what I needed. She took
I am disappointed that this store no longer has cashiers to ring up your purchase. The times I have been there they only have the self checkout. It takes too long to self checkout a large number of items. I am now only going when I need a
They have the most helpful awesome employees working there. After my hip replacement surgery the did everything to help me. They work together as a team so beautiful. Thanks you guys for understanding!
If you were looking for a local grocery store in old town, New Mexico, this is the place to go. Good wine, selections, some pre-prepped meals in their deli area, and a wide array of general groceries.
Been coming here for years, The staff is very friendly, very clean, fast service , great prices and employees are ready to help in any assistance. Love it here....
This store is super clean and not too expensive everything is really organized all the workers are good They know where everything is
Great for local shopping in the neighborhood. A little pricey but to be expected for convenience. Fresh produce and friendly staff.
My favorite grocery store to shop at. The workers are so friendly. Everything is stocked and clean, makes my shopping trip easy.
Prices seem steep, but the convenience is key. I usually just buy milk/produce. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable
Wonderful little supermarket, los prices and great selection. Picked up some fresh hatch chiles and freshly made sushi!
The woman who helped me at the check out was so kind and friendly. I had a great experience. Would definitely recommend
100% self checkout?? SHAME ON YOU!! Long lines and absolutely no one to help on the busy hours. Will not go back!
I like it, pretty clean... but the carpet has to gooo. I can smell it. Especially by the produce.
Everything's always stocked and they have great prices. Nice, clean place with helpful staff.
