I was in this store 6/23/22. I was purchasing a 2 pack door locks. The register ran my transaction twice but did not produce a receipt. The cashier called a Manger by the name of Kyle out to the register. He could not pull up the receipt either. Another cashier walked me to Customer Service to try to help me get a refund back on my card for one of the cost. Kyle then comes over and says he cannot find my transaction in the system. I showed him on my phone where the amount came out of my account. He told me he could not give me a refund without the receipt. I was told by Kyle that it is probably pending with my bank, to come back today Monday before 5 if my account does not show pending and the amount actually came out of my account. He wanted me to take the locks but me being honest I told him no in case it shows not pending and the money go back on my card then I will have the locks I have not paid for. Today I leave work early to get there before he leaves to get my refund. The guy at the customer service desk said all the mangers were in a meeting. I told the young man Kyle is the only one that knows what happened last Thursday and I was told to be here before 5 and ask for him. The young man called and told someone a customer was waiting to see Kyle. They told him it would be about 15 minutes. Well 15 minutes turned into 45 minutes and still no Kyle. The young man then paged Kyle twice and still no Kyle. Then a guy by the name of Trevor came up and apparently Kyle gave him bits and pieces of the situation so I had to give him the story all over again. Trevor had to check on something else in the store but assured me he would be back in a few minutes to help me. While he was gone a lady name Tesse ( I think that's her name) came and said she knew I was waiting on Kyle but she would do what she could to help me. Trevor came back as he said he would and saw Tesse helping me and was confident Tesse would fix the wrong. Indeed Tesse did get me my refund. Tesse and Trevor was AWESOME but Kyle on the other hand leaves a lot to be desired as far as management and customer service!! Although this store is right around the corner from my house....I will NEVER do business here again and will discourage anyone I know of going there as well!!! By the way....KYLE NEVER SHOWED UP!!!

The store manager at 86th and Michigan Road is COMPLETELY UNPROFESSIONAL and rude. Amanda works in the appliance section and while I was waiting for her to assist me, I was watching her work with an elderly Navy veteran. She kept getting smart with him as she was very impatient. She got mad at him because she didn't ask him for his address! When he pointed out that she didn't have his delivery address, she gave him attitude again! He had to go to the car to get his ID or something. I kindly told her that she may not realize it, but she is coming off rude. She ignored me and I asked her, "Did you hear me?" She came after me and kept saying that she didn't need my help. I asked for a manager, but she just ignored me again. I was in such disbelief that I took my phone out to record her and she ran away. Suddenly, she arrives with Moe the store manager who berates me for trying to record Amanda. Never mind that she just argued with me and disrespected a veteran. I told him that he was being nonchalant about her behavior and he smartly said, "What? You want me to bring her out and parade her around and ridicule her in front of everybody?" I kid you not. No apologies for her behavior...nothing. He refused to spell his name for me as I told him that I would be reporting him! He told me to call 1800 Lowe's and have a Merry Christmas. Complete a**hole. I can see why Amanda felt comfortable arguing with a customer and disrespecting a veteran. The manager and I were literally loudly arguing in front of a crowd of customers. I couldn't see them from my vantage point until I turned around to walk away...but he could.

I got there at 2pm picked out the refrigerator I wanted went to the desk and was told she would call Anthony and he would be right there to help. I waited and waited and waited no Anthony....finally (Anthony) came around the corner with another customer and said I'll be right with you. I said ok. I continued to wait and wait then nothing. I look up and (Anthony) is helping someone else. I said I've been waiting and (Anthony) gonna say this lady was here before you...no tf she wasn't!!!!! I went and got help elsewhere. I decided I needed a new toilet, I went to that department, no one around! I waited and waited and waited...no one showed up! I walked to a different aisle and saw a worker. I asked her could she call someone to come help me in the toilet section, she did. Again I waited waited and waited...no one came. I finally saw someone (James) who looked like he could help. I told him what I wanted, he scanned the item, took me to a desk where another lady was sitting. Him and her asked me questions as they were typing my information in. After about 30mins sitting at the desk with them giving them information the lady said we are all done here. All you have to do now is give them your number at the checkout and they can pull you up, you pay and then wait for the delivery! I said great!!! I went to the front cashier, they put my number in and......NOTHING!! WHAT THE HELL WERE THEY BACK THERE TYPING IN THE SYSTEM!!! LOWES HAS DEFINITELY FAILED!!!!

I ordered two items online, one was in stock and the other item was out of stock. I ended up purchasing the in stock item somewhere else because after 2 days they still hadn’t picked my item off the shelf. I was notified on day three that my item was available for pick up. I chose not to pick it up since I had already found the item elsewhere. The email stated that if I didn’t pick it up it up within a certain time frame the order would be canceled and I would receive a refund. After waiting a month and a half for a refund, I still hasn’t received it on my credit card statement. Unless you enjoy waiting an hour on the phone, the one 800 number is next to impossible to get a hold of someone. After speaking with someone at the store directly, they were able to resolve my issue. I would advise others to check their credit card statement if you do not pick up an online order. Unlike most merchants, there is no barcode on the email attached to your order for them to scan when picking up.

I purchased this palm b4 purchasing I always inspect my purchase. I noticed the trees for sale had spider mites. So I quickly sorted thru them best way possible. After I purchased the tree I was able to use my grow light to further inspect the tree. It was thousands of microscopic almost, spider mites. This could have potentially infested My entire grow room. That isn't even my concern I spoke to the floral manager and he simply said ok and walked away when I returned the tree. So my best regards to anyone purchasing plants from lowes they have no regards to inspecting plants or separating them on display. They alllll are infested. Mites are plant killers.so please be aware. Terrible service from the manager, the surrounding employees seem more interested then him. Terrible leadership. I'm not making a hate post about lowes entirely bc its a great place. These things happen with plants however poor preventative measures are just as important.

This review should have been given a few months ago. This shut up goes to dawn. I was in looking at refrigerators one evening and talk to a young lady, asked about the availability of a particular refrigerator. She looked on her hand held little computer and she told me that there were none in stock. I wanted to take another look at it again before I left and dawn happened to cross my path. Whatever the conversation was she asked me about if I needed any help and I told her I was looking at this refrigerator but was told it was out of stock. She looked on her handheld computer thing and lo and behold the same hold the same device that another person used all of a sudden had inventory on it. Dawn verified the count behind the walls and proceeded to check me out and set up delivery. Some people care, some dont i guess. Thanks Dawn.

I was shopping for an indoor/outdoor carpet, and sought out assistance in the floor department. It was around lunch time and the staff in that department wasn't around. However, a very nice staff member across from the floor department saw me waiting and assisted me to the upmost, even though it was not her area. I won't mention her name but she help make my day by cutting the material required and assisted me with locating additional supplies to enable me to complete my task. Customer service since the pandemic have fallen in most businesses; however, Lowe's staff members are trying to make up the shortage of customer service nowadays, which is good to see and experience since good help is hard to find and hire. Kudos for Lowe's staff members!

I had great service when I was there to spend my money, but once I paid for my special order I was put by the wayside. No one contacted me to tell me my item was there, i had to call. First time I called they hung up on me, second time told me my item was there. I went to pick it up and used the curbside option and they gave me a hard time for not having my email confirmation number... but they never gave me it. The guy came out finally with my order, no hello no anything. Snapped at me because I didn't tell him it was a special order vs online order (apparently there is a difference) then stormed off. No good bye no thank you for shopping Lowes-NOTHING!

I warn you against using them for online order that you pick up there. I have tried it a few times and each time there has been a problem or a wrong item. Today it was one out of two items that as wrong. They asked me to go get the right item. I told them no, that someone there needed to get it. I did not know where they were in the store and that I had ordered online ahead to pick up to avoid that in the first place. It took a lot of time for three people to figure out what to do and for two of them to go find the item, get it and come back with it. It wasted a lot of time for a supposed quick pick up! And good think I looked before I left the store!

I ordered stove dishwasher microwave and refrigerator end of August. All also had install paid for. They gave me a date Oct 18 which I thought was long but before Thanksgiving so I did ordered they called said they had to change date to mid November not all items in I said ok will the be able to install before Thanksgiving they said no problem. We will call you on Nov 13 to set that up. No call so I called them they we can't install until after Thanksgiving. Then call the evening before delivery oh we don't have the stove. May have in a week or so. I canceled order messed my Thanks giving up so disappointed and dissatisfied with Lowes.

Great customer service. Lowe's is usually more expensive than Home Depot but credit card and Military discounts offset it. And most of the stuff Lowe's sells is higher quality. Example: I purchased two of the same Kohler toilets one from Lowe's and one from Home Depot. The one from Lowe's was $330 but it came with soft close seat and it was coated with some kind of material and it never stained. Bought the same model number toilet from Home Depot for $299 thinking I was getting a deal and I've had nothing but problems with black stains, needed a replacement part already, and the toilet seat doesn't have soft close.

Update: I went again and found the staff super helpful. There didn't seem to be many staff around, but it wasn't terribly difficult to find help. The staff answered my questions and guided me to what I needed. The store is well organized and has most anything you might want. It seems like the have too few workers and it can be difficult to find help. I was buying some new faucet shut off vales and got lucky and found a knowledgeable person to help. I've been here many times and would have to say once I find help I get good answers. This isn't a concern about the quality of helpers but about them having enough.

Lowes is not the store it was ten years ago. It seems they could care less about the customer now. Nearly all aisles are partially blocked, fully blocked, or closed due to restock. Pallets blocking sections (where the thing you want is located) is really annoying. Getting a flat cart around is a logistical nightmare. The entire store is a mess with stuff everywhere creating an obstacle course. Employees look and act like they could care less about you, or their work. But hey, the cashier was friendly. No wonder I stopped coming here unless absolutely necessary.

I just had the WORST shopping experience in my life. I bought a refrigerator from Lowes. and they basically destroyed our basement staircase as well as the new refrigerator. Now a dent is left near the bottom of the left door, and the two doors can't be even due to the damage. I understand that nobody wants this happen but caused me excessive amount of destress. I just had a car accident thanks to all this mess. I feel so sorry that I chose to shop at Lowes. I will absolutely stay away from this store for the rest of my life.

We are greatly disappointed with this store. Aisles were congested. Employees huddled in twos and threes or on cell phones. Took forever to get competent help. Items not in there proper locations. The place is in need of a good cleaning. To top it all off No One who could check us out. Had 500 dollars worth of supplies and no one to check us out. Told we had to use self check out. We left the cart there and walked out. Went to Menards and spent an additional 1000 dollars there . They had the supplies and the service.

I can almost always find what I’m looking for at Lowes … from paint to leaf bags to lighting fixtures, garden seeds and plants to my new wicker yard seat . The associates are so nice . When I was looking at a Christmas tree that was out of stock and wanted to take a picture of tree info , a worker noticed and used her phone to take the picture and send it to me . She went above and beyond, oh and our new Christmas tree looked wonderful in our house this year. It was just right

The store is absolutely dirty . Make sure you wear something old. Products on the shelves are covered in dust. Oook! There lumber is some of the worst there is. You would be luck to even build a bird house with there offerings. But...they do seem to have a diverse selection of dusty tools. I would like to see better management of the stores operations. Oh!... By the way, turn on the D_MN LIGHTS! Its like walking into a tomb. And there's never any one to help with questions.

Millwork is a terrible place to have any work done or ask for help. Alledgelly, They don’t know what they are doing. I would not buy anything in millwork. Dillon & Supervisor Will are not helpful. They both are rude. That is my opinion. I paid 35 dollars to have my floor measured & they would not give me a copy of the paperwork. I have gotten stuff emailed to me before for something else. The supervisor would not even come to the phone. That is rude.

My husband and I tried to buy a new washer and dryer set and no one was willing to help us, then we went in another day to try to buy a zero turn lawn mower and the employee was so rude to us before we even said anything that we told them we would be taking our business to Home Depot from now on and that they just lost 2 very large sales from us and no futre sales either. If I could give a negative rating I would.

Of all the employees we came across in store, only 1 knew where anything was located. When going up front to check out, yet still trying to find 1 more thing, we came across 2 more employees who couldn't be bothered to help price something we had in hand, let alone step 2 feet over to even allow us to look at anything on the shelves.. all of them were rude, and definitely made you aware they'd rather be elsewhere.

I found what I needed, but their wood-cutting area always seems to be broken down or unattended. The saw wouldn't cut all the way through my boards and the employee ended up finding a hand saw to cut the rest of the way through. I also couldn't find the right quantity of black iron pipes I was looking for. There was only one 24" section of 1" pipe so I'll need to find the rest that I need somewhere else.

So, I order a clothes dryer on line for pick up in 3 hours. Very deceiving. They charge my credit card, but the only dryer they have is the floor sample and they won't sell that. So they sold me a dryer that they didn't have and didn't see the need to tell me they didn't have. So, I drive to the store to pick up the dryer, and now they tell me it doesn't exist. This is not acceptable.

Very nice informative staff. Found what I was looking for. Great bargains and choices on fall mum's. The mark down shelves on flowers indoor and outdoor are the Bomb. . I came in to buy their great Valspar outdoor paint I did rebate is Nice these days. Some of their products preen" are better priced than Amazon all n' all a great shopping trip I left a Happy Camper'

Lowe's has been going downhill for a while, they are now at the point where they have no cashiers, everything is self checkout at the last three Lowe's that I have been to, which in my opinion is unacceptable especially when there's a super long line of people waiting to get out and there's only three self checkout lanes open. I will be actively avoiding Lowe's moving forward.

I purchased 9 doors and was looking for someone to help with loading them (forklift preferably). Instead I was dropped off a drywall cart with zero assistance. Thankfully my wife was with me to give me a hand. Rose the cashier on the other was very pleasant and helpful. She called for a MOD for me so I could share my experience but after 15 minutes of waiting we left.

Poor service. No cashiers. The one at self checkout, Melba kept looking at me and then helping others and helping them even though the register kept saying "customer needs assistance " over and over. Terrible service. If you are in a hurry don't stop here or plan to wait a long time with employees who look at you as if doing their job is a problem.

Absolute worst store ever. After visiting this store makes me not ever want to visit again. Their customer service desk is not customer friendly. I was lied too and felt so very disrespected. My thoughts would be for this entire store should be retrained in customer service or shut down and shop at Home Depot a mile north of this location.

Unlike Glendale, this Lowe's is worth shopping at. Helpful staff and great selection. Due to pandemic supply issues they didn't have the shower part I needed, but the guy made a great effort to look for it, both personally and with other employees. I'll drive the extra 5 miles to continue to business with THIS Lowe's.

Staff is very friendly, will often ask if you need assistance instead of trying to seem busy like most hardware store employees seem to do. Parking lot layout is very cramped due to the entrance/exit being funneled into one way which makes walking into the store scary. Just like any other Lowe's in ever other way.

Don't shop here ever! If you have a problem, they'll never make it right. Employee's seem trained to make excuses why the GM is unavailable. At lunch all day or at a meeting all day, etc... Thanks for the generic response. As if haven't called every number ever given to me at least a dozen times.

Needed a new kitchen faucet. Lowe's had a great display of 15. Picked a faucet that I liked and then had it installed. The job went well and I was pleased. Checked out a badger1 garbage disposal. This will be next month project. Good products that are quality built. Check them out sometime soon.

I paid more than $6,000 for vinyl plank flooring installation in October, and I have been left with plywood subfloor since before Thanksgiving. They are unresponsive and blame their subcontractor (who in turn blames them). We will not be shopping there for any reason in the future.

Kinda hard to buy a new washer and dryer when no one is around to help. It’s also a bummer when you see someone who works there and ask for help, and they look annoyed and say “I’ll go find a manager” and no one ever shows up. I guess Home Depot gets our business.

Lowe's new return policy now takes up to 3 days to refund your money if you pay with a card, I needed to return materials and purchase other materials for a job, then they tell me about the new policy, I suggest using cash if your gonna shop here

Everyone is always helpful here. They have polite workers and they go out of their way to help. I have also not had problems with returns. Even during COVID, they have adjusted quickly and wait times are not long at all during checkout.

I have been standing in line at the customer service desk along with 7 other people and we literally have not moved for going on 24 minutes now. The man in front of me looks like he’s gonna hulk out and throw stuff. I’m on his side.

I was in Michigan Rd. LOWE,S today and bought 2 Styrofoam panels. A gentleman named Kelvin was very helpful with carrying them out for me and cutting them to the size I needed. I really appreciated his help.

Waited over 30 minutes just to get help buying a water softener. Grill guy was awesome. Then took 20 minutes to get checked out. Not one cashier. 15 people in line before they opened a register.

The phone in cabinets rang 46 times in 6 1/2 minutes and somebody in paint depth answered. They transferred me to cabinets and rang 32 times with no answer. Hate customers? I'll go elsewhere.
