Customer service today was terrible. Wanted 2 gas bottles swapped over. So stood near the counter just inside the doorway next to my bottles. One person on the till which is fine, but had one staff come out of the office and walk away and another female staff walk to the till and just stood there. The person behind the till completely ignored me and served someone else. I would have expected at least one of the others ask for assistance and or to be the next in line. Guess old fashioned service is dead and gone. It's sad actually because great service is what you used to get there. Went to the Coles servo and was served and bottles exchanged very quickly.

AVOID AT ALL TIMES. I've been coming here for almost 8 years and would hate to think how much I've spent here over that time. Recommended this store to someone who recently moved into the area. Was with them when they went to return a $30 item (with receipt) as it wasn't fit for their purpose. Refund was refused as he didn't have the original box. This store recently changed hands and the newer owner only cares about his profits. I will never spend another cent here. Goodbye Mitre 10 McLaren Vale. We'll now go to the other hardware store (hello Bunnings). Definitely NOT recommended.

In a rush to fix a small plumbing job, couldn't easily find my parts! Quickly requested help from one of the mature staff members. He was only too happy to stop what he was doing to help me. On my way in no time. Thanks guys, great service! This is the reason that most of us locals would rather shop here than head over to the "no service" opposition at Seaford. Always shop local where possible!

I will never go to this store ever again, the guy behind the counter like a old idiot, all I did was look upp if there was a outside patio heater the one I like said it was at this store maybe I'm to old understand it, so I look it upp again it said yes one at Reynella I rang no broilers I will pick it upp tomorrow never ever complained in my life but made me so Angry Cheers

We bought a plant pot which had 25% discount. We had to prompt the staff to take the discount off otherwise we would have paid the full price. The staff was unfriendly and not welcoming at all. We have experienced similar issues with unhelpful and unfriendly staff on a previous visit to this store. Will not likely go to this store again.

Well located in the main street of McLaren vale the carpark is a bit small for the place. The staff are friendly and helpful they have a good selection of plants in the garden section plus just about everything else you need from a hardware store. Definitely worth going to have a look there

This is my favourite Mitre10. The garden centre is perfectly curated. They have an amazing gift and homeware section all while stocking a huge selection of hardware and trade requirements. Service is brilliant. I make an effort to drive from Aldinga to shop here.

Ive been trying to find a particular old style bolt for a heritage sache window lock... No luck in adelaide so while in McLaren vale , Mitre 10 here thankfully had the person to answer my question and solve a long awaited Security problem... Manys thanks Neil

Friendly service. Staff are always so happy to help and if they don't have something you need they are more than happy to order it in. They have a great variety of plants and they even stock homewares. Highly recommend checking this Mitre 10 out.

Sales person was very helpful and knowledgeable even though he was still learning, and had a great laugh with him,rest of the staff were just as friendly. The store itself is huge and don't just stock plants and hardware,there is a bit of everything.

Great range of plants in the nursery. Way more eclectic than Bunnings! Staff are always friendly and they have a rewards program a bit like Flybuys. Highly recommend to the gardener who is looking for a unique plant! You can also order plants in!

Worse hardware store and attitude on the south. Blatent thief's. Save your money so online or at fare l say it, go to Bunnig's, no staff but you won't get shanked there.

This store is really gross there are spider webs everywhere and the staff are very rude and unhelpful never going there again
